NGartplay, no reason to hate yourself. Sometimes interests and desires change. Maybe the urge to create 3D will come back. If not, just enjoy what others create.

All, though my absence was not very long (not 90 comments and images), it was a bit too long to go into each separate scene, sorry. But I saw various beatiful works. And thanks for commenting on my works since last I visited the site.

    Teobaldo - thank you.

NGartplay - thank you for visiting, I hope it inspires you to give it a try again.

Hansmar - thank you and welcome back.

The terrain (and two copies farther away) was self made and given a material from High Resolution Terrains 2. The water is a self made terrain with my own material. The clouds are by the CloudSphere6 and the ambient light by the belonging SkySC6 HDRI from the Sky Toolbox and the key light by the sun.

    Bunyip02 - thank you.

The city is VAW City by Drachenlords. It is within a Fading Mirror Box (below mirroring and above transparent). A Sphere Dome Light is around the city to brighten some shadows. Sky and ambient light by an HDRI from HDRI Enhanced Skies. In front of the camera a warm red filter from Lenses and Filters and the key light by the sun.

The building is Martian Colonial City by Herminio Nieves and given a material from 50 Metals - The Heating Room Set, the terrain was modified from a crater by Criss333 and given a material from High Resolution Terrains 4. The Mars Rover was put on the track of the terrain. Sky and ambient light by an HDRI from Golden Lighting and the key light by the sun. The rover has been running around and around the building for years.

Inspired by Horo’s City render in the faded mirror box; I used two objects and an Hdri from the Hyper Texture Base.

The terrain was modified from a crater by Criss333 and given a material from High Resolution Terrains 2 + 3. The Country House is by Mindland 2005. The ground plane with my material makes the water. Sky and ambient light by an HDRI from High Resolution Terrains 3 and the key light by the sun.

Wonderful terrains and city renders, Horo. The lighting in the  VAW City render is great.

Quite a psychedelic first render, mermaid010 and very nice work with the objects in the mirror box.

I combined a Pro Layerd sky by David Brinnen with a Pro Landscape from the same author. Of course I made a few modifications, but mostly it is the great work by David that led to this result. I added a few simple freebie birds too.

NGartplay: Don't worry, I think we all get tired from time to time and put our hobbies aside for another occasion.

Horo: All your landscapes are great. The city render looks spectacular. The image of Mars inspires the imagination (how much longer will the rover's batteries last before they die? Will it last until the first humans arrive?).

mermaid010: The colorful lines in your abstract look hand-painted. The other abstract is like a dance of fifth-dimensional beings.

Hansmar: The landscape with the birds looks very photorealistic; it's like a lagoon in the mountains on a summer day.
