I do like the background and the house. Looks great.
The concern I have is the sea. The wavelength and wave velocity decreases with water depth, and you have long wavelength ocean waves on the shore. Which doesn't happen, they get closer together and taller as the wave feels the shore. It's a difficult thing to replicate. I have wanted to do something similar myself, and have long had two items in my wishlist, which aren't perfect, but not entirely useless either. The first is https://www.daz3d.com/li-elemental-dynamics--sand-and-water which looks as if it's best from above looking down or underwater - neither exactly what you want, or https://www.daz3d.com/sy-rigged-waves-iray, which is all a bit rough. As I said, not perfect .
At one time user 3CPO looked as if they were going to create a very lovely shore with realistic waves in this thread: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/317276//p1, however instead of stopping at the 'Good Enough' point, they wanted perfection, failed and left in high dudgeon after replacing every post they'd ever made with a '.' comment. Sad really, as the 'Good Enough' point was the best such scene I've seen so far by miles, and would have looked perfect in your scene.

I must down to the seas again, to the lonely sea and the sky, and do some tinkering. Thank you for the kind words and advice. The only way to really deal with it was to force a calming effect though I also played with the surface mats. I then needed to smooth the pool water too which I did by just reducing its thickness. I also stood the sailboat up a bit and popped a wee man on the lee side. Now I'm happier.
I'm not the world's biggest WH40K nut, but I was definitely going to pick up the Bishop Add-on bundle (although I've swapped on some more lore accurate pauldrons I already had floating around).
I have had a shocking shortage of time to do anything remotely fun or creative in recent days, so I'm just glad to have something sorta shareable - because that means I got to turn on the art computer for the first time in a while.
There's a dire dForce situation here that we'll just have a gentleperson's agreement not to notice.

The herb pots do come all as one item in a line, so I had to play around with geometry editor and saving/merging files to get them all separated. I'm very pleased though!
SilverGirl! That's the cutest thing I've seen all day! Nicely done! Where are the little figurines from? They're adorable!
The ceramic fae are from https://3dshards.com/product/fae-world-ceramic-critters/ -- I'm absolutely in love with all that artist's stuff. The shelf is from a separate set of theirs that came with a bunch of ceramic owl pots with plants, which are up in a different part of the apartment. Cool owl stuff is surprisingly had to find, but that artist nailed it.
@SilverGirl this is a clever and adorable way to present the herbs. And I am in awe that you were able to break up the pots. Good Work!
Mary
Thank you!
Credit to the PA that the textures for the separate herbs were all clearly labeled, so it wasn't nearly the chore it could have been. I could just make things invisible in the tool tab once I had geometry editor on, then delete all hidden. And it wasn't just "Herb 1, herb 2" either -- it actually tells you what they are. (For reference, collection includes lemon balm, thyme, mint, basil, dill, rosemary, oregano, and parsley) The only exception is the pots were all one pot, and the dirt in the pots was all one dirt.... but that was only an extra 30 seconds or so of work to manually select and delete the polygons for the pots I didn't want.
Thank you again for finding them! It was the last piece I needed for kitbashing this particular environment, and it was driving me nuts I couldn't get it checked off.
You are most welcome. But it is my weird brain. I will see a new, or an older item, and realize that someone has asked about this type of item. I will then go crazy to track down the thread to update. My thought is someday, in the future, someone else may have the same type of item. You actually was easy, because your request was still on the first page of 'Product Suggestions'. I am no computer whiz but this maybe I can help folks this way? And I love it when it is successful for them.
But, I really would love a group of kitchen herbs that could be planted in the backyard, or on a patio, balcony, or kitchen in an urban environment. Maybe some veggies that are common to a small garden? The larger gardens are common around many urban areas in neighborhoods, where the produce is shared amongst the neighbors and to the food banks.
Unfortunately we live in an apartment that gets direct sun for 1 - 2 hours in the early morning and reflected light from windows late in the afternoon in high summer. So my apartment is a dark hole without lights on.

I feel you. I'm in a quad home, and my 1/4 of the building is north and west facing. We get western sunlight for a bit in the afternoon/evening where the balcony is, but nothing on the north side, and there are a delightful number of mature trees out the west side that cut down the sunlight during the growing season when they're all leafed out. My attempts at container gardening never panned out.
I have all three! Yes, some more of those would be great. I wish I could grow anything, but I also have a purple thumb. I kill plants. Except one time, I had some lavender and other plants in housing at Vandenberg AFB CA. And then I walked outside to find a litter of puppies had eaten them all down to the dirt. Apparently they must have tasted very good to the little guys. But it crushed me.
Not technically a "buy" per se, but some people might have noticed some of my fingerprints on one of the promo images in Ruris's Classic Spacesuit Vol 02 release yesterday:

Oh that's delightful! I never saw it because I saw spacesuit and just kept going since I have no need of one. Thank you for posting it here!
I'll admit that I don't usually have huge need of spacesuits myself (being as my setting can largely be defined as contemporary fantasy), but Ruris was helping test some of my asset creation toolkit and we ended up with things shared both ways.
... and it is fun dressing up mythological creatures.
Edit: I didn't like the stretched looking skin on Hogger anymore. So, back to its original skin, but with added mud and dirt from the product materials itself plus DirtFX for Genesis 9.
I spent so much during the PA sale, and I'm actually trying to use some of it.
Mind Your Own Business
Just a test render, really, after playing around to create a new creature with the Impsimpian base. Other new stuff used are Harpy Talons and and MMX's Smoke Trails 02. Other new stuff, but not from the last months is FPE's Auquatic Skins, Lycan 9, and DA's Fantasy Ear Shapes. I also tried another new thing, FPE's Universal Horns, but wasn't that impressed. While the product itself seems neat, it didn't seem to play well with the creature morphs and larger heads: the horns looked ridiculously thin and small, and I found no way to thicken them. But otherwise, it seems like a nice product. I left the sockets on so there it is.

Another odd thing about the horns... if you're using a utility to swap all bones to mirror a pose, it swaps the horns, too, and there's no way to freeze them to prevent it. The only workaround I've found is to duplicate the character in the original pose, mirror that one, and then cooy and paste the mirrored pose back to the original. The horns aren't messed with that way.
Definitely second the wish to have an option to thicken them.
I think of them as universal in the same way universal garage door remotes are... it'll work on everything that is compatible with it. (Imagine my shock when the first time I got a universal remote, it refused to work at all. Apparently my base mechanism was in a different universe?)

I've got an Inkling.
Stickman
Brilliant, masterful and so fun! We need an acb coffee table book!
Thanks!
But I'm not so sure that there would be much interest in that.
I am not too sure about that. Inkling is adorable... in a weird, dark way. Need to show it to my flatmate when he wakes up finally.
This is so much fun! You're one of those artists who always has interesting and original takes on things. I love directions your mind takes models to.
Oh, thank you!
Some perfectly normal Space Marines. Nothing unusual here.

The hair looks lovely with that lighting you set up, makes me put it in my wishlist.
I recently purchased Dillon 9. Here he is with Julian 9.
I haven't bothered with decent lighting for this, but... behold! Small potted herbs!

I definitely wouldn't turn down a more expanded offering (especially flowering chives!!)... https://www.daz3d.com/vegetable-plot--veg-plants-and-raised-beds-for-iray might get you started for the veggie end of things, though, as well as https://www.daz3d.com/veg-patch--carrots and https://www.daz3d.com/veg-patch--radish -- I keep hoping since he did the two veg patch somewhat recently, there might be more in the works.
