i thought the same today, although there are a couple from Matari3D I've been looking at for awhile. Only bad is that my membership has expired so not getting the half off price.
There are a couple of the core characters that are on my wishlist, and $5 is a good price... but I don't have any specific plans for them, and I'm finally coming to the end of the gift card I got months and months ago (when the % off was still good) so I'd rather save what's left for things of immediate use. There will be other chances. and possibly ones that'll stack with a DO coupon or tokens.
I got the shaders, Dog 8 Phenotypes, & Rottweiler, so maybe it's time to make toons based on my puppers?
Also agree with you about this week's Quick Grabs. Not anything I want his time around, for which The Budget is grateful.
BTW, the Premier free bundle selection has changed. It's now Asha, Vicky (toon), Wagner, Tabitha, Lahr, Olivia, Olympia, Kala, Lawrence, & Norba (female orc). Yes, Daz finally rotated Walter out. Lahr is now the only remaining character from Premier's debut. I've been interested in Norba, since I do a lot of fantasy, but holding off to see if I like the next release.
Interesting, given Walter's one of the QG offerings this week.
I'm in similar mindset: some core characters at a good price, but I have nothing specific I need them for, so I'm trying to decide whether I want to get them "just in case" (I'm guessing once they rotate out of fast grab, they might not be at such price any time soon), or pass.

But seriously, in the past months, I've been going by "do I need it for anything specific?" and it worked quite well. So to answer your question: I probably need more than I know, they are unique in comparison to what I have, and they might inspire my next render, but... I don't need them for anything specific. Thus the conundrum. The good part is that if you aren't playing the tokens game, you can sit on that fast grab cart for a whole week and decide. I usually end up trimming my carts significantly in the course of those 7 days.
10% off GC sale with purchase of 5 QG or Outlet items... not great, but more attainable than the recent buy-in offerings if anyone's desperate.
It's kinda nice, I wanted to buy some outlet stuff anyways, and this way, I get it for free and have a new GC for the month. I'm buying a smaller one though I think, PA sale being round the corner somewhere ...
Not the only one. Ivar was in Quick Grab, either when his bundle was in Premier or right after. Tabitha & Lawrence, currently in Premier, also in have their characters in QG, along with a couple Wagner add-ons.

Also wanted to say that I think Quick Grab is really turning out nicely so far, I'm still having a lot of fun with it, and with the outlet as well.

Wow! I had no clue the editorial license had ended. When did this happen? I googled, but only found DAZ AI Studio was ended. I bet a bunch of 3D PA's let out a slow long deep breath at that announcement. Actually at both of those announcements.
@ArtAngel I should have been clearer. Daz never officially announced it but there were a couple posts at the end of the old EL discussion thread that pointed to a de facto drop:

As far as I know, there were no announcements in either of the cases (unless AI announcement only went out to the Daz AI users). In the case of editorial license, it seems that Daz just stopped releasing products under it which doesn't surprise me given some issues with products being removed from the store, but it doesn't necessarily mean an item or two won't be released under it in the future.

With the editorial licence, I don't believe anything official went to the public, but I've heard PAs state that Daz stopped allowing products to be submitted to have the EL. and that aligns with the fact that nothing new has been released with it since October last year.
Ah, I must have missed it then. No wonder, since whenever I see AI-something, I just scroll on.

As a side note for anyone shopping today's "PA stores in quick grab prices" offer, it looks like with one quick grab item you're allowed to have one item from each price category, so actually a total of four items. There's also nothing about this offer being usable only once, but I can't test it since I'm not sure I'll be buying anything.

New tile up: 4-hour flash sale. Not sure when it went up, so no idea when the 4 hours ends... or if it will actually end at 4 hours as advertised.
Still up after 5+ hours & still seems to be working. Just about everything is showing 74% off for me.
I think I am going to see how the QG deal is working now.
I think they are rotating the flash sale every 4 hours. I saw 2 different sets of PAs, and now there's one for Daz Originals.

Expected Daz Plus to end today but for half of today I was Daz Plus. Checked out two carts one for DAZ Plus freebee and the other shortly after noon, at 12.07.31PM, for 110.72 of product. Then my Daz Plus became inactrivated. AND I missed out on the first flash and the nexr and the next . . . +PLUS I never ever got that one week extension promosed back a while ago. . . grabbing some cheese for my whine. Time to detox and break away from hoarding buying products for a bit. Maybe I'll buy more lumber and build something else I really don't need. Or maybe I might try hexagonning a Catio lol.
The trend where you get "great discounts" if you buy something new continues where all the new items have higher and higher prices or only extrenely narrow appeal. How many people need a throne room, to pick an example?
And I understand they can only provide as new what's they have available. It's just not worth picking something you know you'll never use.
I didn't find anything in the flash or daily sales I wanted enough (at the deal prices) to buy.
I'm still considering the QG sale, even though I am disappointed it was confirmed the PA items only get the base QG price points. On the other hand there might be better discounts next month.
This morning I had better results with this sale than I did yesterday. I put a .99 QG item in my cart then added an $8.25 item from one of the "Forget Me Not" artist stores. The result was the $8.25 item became $1.99. This is what I was expecting to happen yesterday, and I'm glad it worked for me today. I'm really delighted with the purchase.

No DO release today? Not much chatter about that or about broken sales. Beginning to look a bit tumble-weedy round these parts.
Yeah. It seems if you put a .99 QG item and then a Zeddicus pose under 10 to the cart then the total cost is $3.14 for the two items. This worked twice for me. Might keep going. Works with other of these vendors but it seems hit or miss. I got LA Shall We Dance Poses for Genesis 8 and 9 and a pair of .99 pants for $3.14. If you have time today have a go. Can't have enough for poses.
I actually spent yesterday doing renders with a product I bought 2 years ago . There are miracles.
The Future-Thing sale is/was very good. A cheap lock-in item ($9) - and a nebula-lighting hdri thing, for $14 that I used instead, cos I might actually use it! - and then with 4 tokens and a coupon (both actually worked!) I got $59 worth of "filatoon Essentials" for $0.01. This evening, I felt my + membership was worth it
