    I was disappointed to see that Daz chose a Golden Ticket item with Mature Content on almost all the promos. It really shows how the store has deviated far from what I am looking to buy here. sad Shouldn't a Golden Ticket be more universally acceptable to customers, or are 99% of Daz money spending customers only interested in Mature Content now?  I feel like I have to buy something i have no interest in, to lower prices of other things, or just buy nothing. So far, "nothing" has won this battle, but the day isn't over.

    Yeah, I put my back out just looking at a couple of those. I'm always baffled at how people can think those look sexy instead of uncomfortable/awkward/painful, but... 

    Anyway, looks like the discount works the same day as the purchase again (yay!) so no need to anticipate for me. If past is prologue, there'll be a small handful of items I'm interested in, and maybe one or two I get anyway because the cart's good enough that it pays for itself and then some. No decent gift card sale has dropped yet, so I'm fine with the good deals holding off.

    Actually the promos don't now have the filter - sometimes the initial sweep is a bit too exacting. They are certainly sexualised, and I wouldn't have purchased it myself if it didn't lower the cart total, but they are not really worse than similar older products.

    Thanks for the updated info. I didn't take a second look to notice that Daz changed the promos. Once Daz started selling a large assortment of "Anatomical Elements" and their morphs, I turned the filter on and left it on.

    For the last year or so, it seems most of the big annual sales are kind of Meh until about 2 weeks in. Nothing right now tempts me. Much of my WL isn't on sale & the new QGs don't hold much interest, except 1 or 2 characters, and those are the rare ones where I actually want the bundle contents.

    I think the poses are just the same type of pinup/model/cheesecake sets Daz has been selling forever, that I don't need.

    Very true... you can't really judge based on the first day. I do like that this one isn't insane-o complicated, though. Here's a golden ticket, here's the new releases, here's a decent discount. No advanced decoder ring required.

    I seem to remember the orange 30% off banner being a fixture of the whole sale last year, yes? Maybe we'll get lucky and it'll do that again...

    (...of course the prices often seem adjusted to compensate for such things, but...)

    I built and emptied four carts, minimum price is too off-putting. I want artists to get paid, but some of this legacy stuff is like a decade+ old. I'll wait until I have a specific project need for it!

    It's a great format for jumping in anytime. Can charge up the tokens bank with Outlet/QuickGrab too. I like it better than punch cards!

    I think she's very nice, too. Had basically stopped buying Mousso because they started feeling so samey to me, and many couldn't close their mouths, the poor things; and the texture detail is often so subtly done that I can hardly coax it out in my coarse, small, 'well this has now cooked long enough' type of renders. But she's got something really sweet about the eyes, so in my cart too she goes.

    I must say I also like the Linday Villa bundle. The poses are typical Linday pouty-sexy-backbreaky stuff of course, but the modular villa and the plants are really really useful and lovely, and the environment is stunning. With 4 tokens, the ticket and the 30% off I can bring it down to 17 bucks. That's awesome for a new release and will also help filling up tokens again nicely. I'll let it stew for now, but I think I'll buy it.

    I think the thing that caught me first was the Mousso character's freckles. I dunno, they just seemed really well done and natural in a way a lot of freckles don't. ...And maybe because her promo pics didn't seem overly sexed up. Even in the one where she's in a bathing suit, she looks like someone just out having fun.

    Thanks for calling my attention to that villa... I'd overlooked it because I don't have a need for it as it comes, but the modular parts would come in handy for a couple kitbash ideas I have. I've put them far down the road as I'd figured I'd have to model the entire thing myself, but those roof tiles specifically would save me a bunch of work for one of them. And the HDRI's wouldn't have to specifically be Mediterranean. Can't justify the price for a "someday, eventually" project, but on the wishlist it goes.

    If Daz were smart, they'd put out a decent Gift Card sale (not just 10%) early on in this sale period. They'd make way more money than hoping customers will willingly pay over $400 over the sale without GC's

    A lot of mousso figures are not to my taste, and today's offering falls firmly in that category.
     

    Also I have hundreds of character figures of various generations. Really need to stop buying them no matter how nice or discounted they may be. Probably shouldn't even accept freebies.

    Is digital hoarding a thing?

    At least it is coming with a G8 version, which isn't something I expect to happen with many Golden Ticket products. I'm rather ready to spend $ 2.99 for a slightly flawed product I might use than for something I at 99% never will use (aka G9 characters and hair)

    Still nothing new I really want but I gave the QG another look.

    4. I rue not getting the Neanderthal alt shapes when they were in QG since Neanderthal 9 is here this week. This is a rare case of me mainly wanting the character & shapes. But they will be on sale again.

    I imagine it's linked to the artist - or artists - of the day. I have a lot of Z and MSO products, so I'm assuming that's why I've had a voucher the past 2 days. Or maybe it's because I've got a lot of products across all the featured artists that day. I think they may have done the voucher thing before, except more explicitly calling out criteria along those lines.

    Today's code is different from yesterday's. So single use in any one day but many opportunities over the month or so.

    Off the top of my head, last year, it was a 30% discount applied automatically on Featured artists stores, for owning 30 items among that day featured artists.

    Oookay, today I don't even know the headliner, I'm sorry to say, and I'm not getting the 30% off, so I probably don't have much of the other PAs for today either. Is it just me and it's actually a well-known vendor? The golden ticket by them is not appealing to me either, just not the kind of renders I do. So very quick store visit today.

    Not a name I recognized, either, so must not go on sale often. I looked at their catalog, and it's almost all sandal and heel shoes. They look to be really nicely done, but not a style any of my folx would wear. They only have one other character, so the GT item is unusual for them. (At least on Daz; maybe they have more inventory other places, and is one of those artists that only partially Red Rovered over?)

    I don't have an Orange banner either, but DIM had a banner about the 30 for 30 and the coupon today is CENTER-STAGE
