...I feel; the same and that is the reason I don't purchase much in the way of characters or character bundles. I have so much in the way of merchant resource and morphing/shaping content that I prefer to "kitbash" my own custom characters using base ones I have. Unless a character offers some "unique qualities" to the mix or is a "standalone" one (like those by RawArt and Oso3D), I tend not to bother. I rarely if ever have used a character "as-is" right out of the box.

Actually I did recently pick up the Teen Josie 8 Pro Bundle (even though I already had Josie 7) before my D+ membership expired early last month. I got the bundle with two other DO items as it was marked down to 3.81$. Applying a special10% sale discount + 2 tokens + my Daz+ DO coupon the bundle cost only 1.14$. (List price 135.95$). Couldn't pass that kind of deal up. [see below]

I'm not understanding any of this sale today. Something about 40% off or 60% if in wishlist...then DREAM10 off if you buy charmed...on and on..and none seem to work, the coupon says invalid.what products are needed to qualify for discounts?
DREAM10 worked after Daz Midnight - it was the first of what were supposed to be "More Savings Every 4 hours" promos. But we should be on the third one now.
Yeah - mine still says DREAM10.
I am guessing Dream10 doesn't stack with the 60% off Wishlist items
It would, the problem is it has expired and the current running code does not update for anyone beside mods as far as i know.
Just came here to ask what's the deal with the 'new every 4 hours' when it's the same deal I saw when I left a few hours ago - so it's just not working, correct? Nice.
I don't know why they keep hving these "switch every X hours" sales on weekends. They're almost always busted, and nobody is around to fix them.
I think the current code should be GLOW10

Okay, I see. Well, doesn't make much sense to me since it's only a relatively small discount, and you have to use it with the wishlist deal and tokens and such to make it really worthwhile. But I suppose if one wanted to buy more than one new release today, it would be useful. Or maybe I'm just too tired today to get it. Anyways, I'm sure it's nice, and I hope people get to buy lovely things with it.

Between G3 and G8 I have way over 200 characters. I've used somewhre around 25 to 30. I've picked up 8 (I think) G9. I think I purchased 10 or 12 G8 for the character; the rest came in as part of early bundles that had something else I wanted or as the cheapest item I could get to trigger a major discount. I'm not even doing that anymore.
As Sunday's coming to an end in this part of the world, I find myself excited for Monday solely because... quick grab refreshes. There's joyful anticipation of what will be available at those prices this time.
Yes!! And maybe if we're very lucky, the PA sale will start early, and it will be structured in a way that works as well as last year's!

So you see it, too, that's good (or not, really). I thought it was perhaps me being overly picky with the prices.
Had the same thought... also an overabundance of characters and add-ons. First two weeks I happily spent $20; last week there wasn't really anything for me, and this week is less than $8... and I'm on the fence about a couple of those.
Still, when I redid my coffee shop kitbash, I was annoyed that my stacks of cups were very plain and white, and along comes a 99-cent environment that solves the problem! Bafflingly, though, it suffers the same flaw of all the other coffee shop environments in that there's no stack of lids to go with the cups. Much like functional toilet lids and belts for weapons, it seems.
...tempting but it's the end of the month and too poor until Friday. Also need to re-up for a month of Daz+ to get the best deals..
Sounds nice.. too bad there's this "minimum reduced price $ 2.99" thingy looming above it. I just can't get myself ready to pay that much for things I didn't want to buy when they were on sale for $ 1.99 before already and just my budget kept me from buying them then.
I think there was something in those last two years that made the September sale more worthwhile... I guess there were cumulative punchcards... Not so good this year... Low discounts... Hope it gets better along the way...
EDIT P.S.: actually, according to my notes, same rates as last year, thus, I think it's how it starts and will get better along the run with those wishlist promos and other stuff.
I admit I didn't look too much into it... nothing in my wishlist had dropped down enough that another 30% would make me pull the trigger, so I was hoping others would have better luck.

There's nothing going on for me today either. I'll pick up the Golden Ticket item to see if it's relevant tomorrow.
I don't think I'll do even that, the pose set seems lacklustre to me, just your typical 'sexying about a chair' sort of poses. Some poses are actually rather bad, especially the one on the knees with the feet in those heels bent all wrong. Ah well, we'll see, often things pick up a little later, and we might still have some decent fun ;-)
