...well seems my little corner of the woods is now in the national spotlight and not in a good way. Earlier this afternoon there was a mass shooting at a community college down in Roseburg (between Eugene and Medford OR) . 10 people died and another 7 were wounded.

Yes, saw that on the news here during the day and evening.  Let's hear what this guy's story was.  I thought of you when I saw this.  How close are you?

... not very, Eugene is about 110 miles south of Portland and Roseburg another 35 further (actually closer to the California state line).  Still quite a shock to many of us here.

    Sure Happy It's Thursday indecision

Getting into Fall here, 50s at night and low to mid 70s in the day, overcast and not much sun.  Time to hit Walmart online and order a thermal t-shirt and some long sleeve shirts, will donate my short sleeves to GHoodwill.  Might get a fleece hoodie as well for when my warmer jacket is too heavy.

Complaints: out of pistachios, acidic tummy, didn't sleep well last night, too muh to do, too little time and resources. crying

Were being messaged that it looks like a real hot summer is coming for us, going to need some darker sunglassescooland a bigger hat

If you don't waste your money then you won't be in want of money when you need it.

However, if you don't waste that last piece of cake it goes straight to your waist and you will not want it to.

I wish I had money to buy Anemone and Rayn but I had to spend some money on X-Rays. I'm going to buy some items from the PC+ store instead.

I haven't heard the general outlook for our winter yet.  I hope it's not another one like last year!

...Well, boys, we got three engines out, we got more holes in us than a horse trader's mule, the radio is gone and we're leaking fuel and if we was flying any lower why we'd need sleigh bells on this thing... but we got one little budge on them Rooskies. At this height why they might harpoon us but they dang sure ain't gonna spot us on no radar screen!

..well finally closed out the old place.

Landlady aid I didn't have to mop out the floors as she'd going to tear them up after the flooding damage.  Then she took me out for a couple drinks. We parted on good terms.

Went down to this really cool pub in the new 'hood that is an old craftsman house. Then went to a "whiskey bar" which had Larotan cusine s their bar food where I had a nice dram of my favourite Socts whiskey, Talisker. All in all, very enjoyable evening.
