Alberta! - I can honestly say I have seen it snow here in every month of the year (although not in the same year) We had a  snowfall  here this August... we have  four seasons - May, June July and Winter..

But by the end of the week, might be in the high teens and sunny - and once during a mid-winter Chinook, saw the temp go from -25C to plus 5C and then back to -28C - all in the same day.

Went shopping for a sweater and a new clock came home with a haircut, some cashews, sugar-free almond bark vodka, and a 12 pack of Sam Adams Ocktoberfest Ale.  Woah!  I get to treat myself to 1/2 a piece of almond bark a day!!! laugh

Performed a dirty trick and now, while I have to lock the SIM card into the phone with the cover,e, the HTC is functional.. Fixing the SIM lock issue shuld be cheap at the local cell phone hospital.

Noby sells clocks, at least not JC Peny, or Macys, or Dillards.  Maybe one the local Walmart reopens.. otherwise, my phone is now my alarm clock!

Now at home playing with Arabic flutes and African percussion.. omg.. this instrument is worth every penny I spent on it!  I still need a digiridoo... ugh.

Back to the music! I hope eeryone is having as good a weekend as possible! smiley

Purely Middle Eastern instruments and some audio effects.  Blame my Muse, she's been a pain in the butt lately... indecision

Morning. Quietly hot, or hotly quiet in the hood after all the partying last night about the only things stirring are a few bees buzzing around spring blossoms :)

since yesterday I have been having difficulty with iTunes.  I do not know why.

    Doesn't everybody?

oh I thought it was just me.

I hate it!  I deleted it from my computer.  I had it only because Diane has an iPod and used my computer to update it.  She does it on the laptop now and I couldn't stand it any longer.  I got rid of Quicktime, too.  I can't stand it.  Apple's software is terrible.  Whenever there's an update it takes forever to download, and then to install, and then it makes me reboot my computer.  Just for something stupid like a so-so video player?  I get Windows updates that don't make me reboot.  [/rant]

Man, I'll stay here in southeastern Massachusetts!  It gets cold enough...too cold.  In fact, I'm cold right now.

Oh.  That's in my wishlist, although I'm not sure why it's required when the auto-fit is supposed to work so wonderfully.

complaint: My parents switch my internet provider from Cox cable to Verizon FIOS.  Verizon FIOS is so slow at night.  I am trying to watch some tutorials about Daz Studio but the video pauses every few seconds.  The download speed is between 64 and 900 kbps right now.  I am using a wireless connection.  I would try using an ethernet connection but the ethernet LAN ports on the broadband router/modem don't work.  Grr.

Edit: I might need to replace the router/modem.

    ...11th hour complaint.

Was finishing setting up my RRRR entry when one of the character Scene Subsets would not load into the scene.  All I get is the following

[An error occurred while reading the file, see the logfile for more details]

Of course I cannot make head or tail out of what the logfile says as to the reason. as there is no point where I find it trying to load the character.

There was no issue when I created the and even did a test render of the character.

This is extremely annoying as I haven't been able to enter the last few RRRR challenges because of RL rubbish I had to deal with. Now I finally get the time and this happens.  All I can think of is that somehow the file was corrupted after I saved it and quit the other night.

I was going to run a quick test render, then run the final render overnight as I have to be somewqhere else tomorrow for a good part of the day (and the submission Deadline is 11:59 Daz Time tomorow). .I am dead dog tired and not thrilled about spending the time to rebuild the character from scratch all over again (particularly as the posing was rather difficult).

Really not happy about this as the scene takes a long time to render.

Maybe next time I need to go a bit lighter on rum in my fruit salad. (Banana, papaya, jellied coconut, pineapple, mandarin, RUM!)
