too easy to turn into a shut-in living in the boonies

...which is why I don't want to end up out there. Transit is lousy, everything is miles apart, and where I live there aren't even sidewalks or many thru side streets (so you usually have to go out of your way and walk along the busy roads with 40 - 50 mph traffic shooting past you) in many areas

Sounds like Tulsa.  The only place we have sidewalks are near apartment/houising complexes or downtown.  There are ZERO sidewalks withing 5 miles of where I work.

...yuck. Sounds like LA where pedestrians are an afterthought.  Cross Tulsa off my list as I hate places where the "automobile is king".

Crappy or no sidewalks, minimal bus service, the roads are a disaster, crappy beer, yeah, this town blows if you don't drive a huge pickup truck. no

    Sure Happy It's Thursday indecision

Getting into Fall here, 50s at night and low to mid 70s in the day, overcast and not much sun.  Time to hit Walmart online and order a thermal t-shirt and some long sleeve shirts, will donate my short sleeves to GHoodwill.  Might get a fleece hoodie as well for when my warmer jacket is too heavy.

Complaints: out of pistachios, acidic tummy, didn't sleep well last night, too muh to do, too little time and resources. crying

carrara needs a work friendly product page i could send to co-workers without violating workplaceethics.

Just bought some cup soups from Walmart - 2 12 packs - low sodium, vegan, modest calories, low carb.. actually healthy! surprise

BUT.. they don't sell them in their stores.  I guess they're too healthy for your normal Walmart shopper. indecision

'One 12 pack of pad thai soup, one 12 pack of tortilla soup with baked chips.  Will bring six of each into work, the rest stay at home for evenings and weekends.

Just $30 including shipping, hard to beat that.  And it's soup weather!

If trhere's anything left in the bank tomorrow after bills, it's going to music gear.. le sigh.. blush

...yeah hate those huge diesel pickups. Two thirds as long as a city bus. Seems most of the people who own them (aside from construction and landscape companies which actually have a legitimate use for them) are total jerks who feel they own the road. Love to see them tangle with a Russian truck driver, those guys really mean business and don't let anything get in their way as they (along with tram operators and bus drivers) were pretty much the only civilians allowed to drive when it still was the USSR.  They literally did "own" the roads.

..sounds like a drop in air pressure affecting the sinuses. Hurricanes often produce extremely low barometric readings.

Used to get that a lot more when I lived in the Midwest as the weather would change so frequently..

Complaint: I've been so busy, and falling asleep at the computer a lot late at night, that I missed out on using either of my PC coupons for September.   sad  I'm broke, but I have a few dollars in store credit and could have gotten at least a DAZ O.

...well seems my little corner of the woods is now in the national spotlight and not in a good way. Earlier this afternoon there was a mass shooting at a community college down in Roseburg (between Eugene and Medford OR) . 10 people died and another 7 were wounded.
