Is there any information on how often items will rotate in and out of it? Is this a weekly thing, a monthly thing, a whenever we randomly feel like it thing like character bundles for premier? Is this a new category that things will just be added to?

I see Lightning Deals have gone because my link to those takes me to the Outlet Store
Also look at the different applications of $1.99 & $3.99 to recent & vintage on the outlet banner and the shop front page. They can't both be right.. I have reported this.

It seems to have replaced both Lightning Deals AND Fast Grab. Fast Grab rotated items in and out daily, and Lightning Deals completely changed every three hours, so I would hope Outlet updates at least daily.
Both Fast Grab and Lightning Deals are gone, and going to those URLs automatically takes you to the Outlet Store. Makes a sort of sense to focus only on one high discount section for a while and see how it does. Prices are lower than either Lightning or Fast Grab usually were (though Lightning was very variable, by design).
To be honest, less preying on fomo and more reliable and consistent prices/deals would be nice. I'd be cool with it being just a new category that things get added to as artists decide to or the products age out, really.

I usually check Daz Store at multiple intervals a day to see if anything good was in Lightning or Fast Grab.
At least now I only need to log in once a day, grab what I can, then go.
I think this is the first seriously positive change Daz has made in a long time.
I'd like some idea of how often I need to check for new stuff, but it looks like prices show in the WL, at least, so that's an easy way for stuff I already know I wanf...
Another one here with a big compliment, I picked up 5 items from my wishlist at gen3 age because of the outlet store, and the fact the price shows on the product which meant I could easily identify them in my wishlist with 'lowest price' first sorting.
I don't mind if the selection doesn't change around as much as the LD, as the FOMO will be much lower with a larger but slower rotation.

It says on the top it's half price for members, so $1.99 for newer, $0.99 for vintage fits
I did the 5 items for $4 of vintage for example. definitely a nice deal.

Can you do it again or is it one cart a day (which is already a nice deal like you said) ? And can you take advantage of the same offer on the newest items ?
Edit: to clarify, what I mean: I'm not asking you to buy another 5 items but if you're placing items from the outlet store in your cart, do they get the discount ?
I have bought 2 carts with legacy items, and both discounted to the advertised price.
As long as you put 5 items in a cart (as long as its 5 of the same type, not a mix of vintage/legacy and non-vintage/legacy) then you can do as many carts as you want without limit. I like this model because you don't have to watch every few hours for new lightning deals. The prices are also low enough that even if you only find 3 or 4 things that you want, it's probably still cheaper to fill up to 5 and get the discount (especially for Premier members). So far, I like the look of it.
I too would also like to know how often this stuff would rotate though. Daily seems tike it'd be too often (for Daz to actually sort out the list of stuff each day) considering the amount of stuff included, but I hope it's weekly or every other week. I don't want to see Lightning Deals and Fast Grab both replaced by something that doesn't change for an entire month.
...so that explains why my cart was 9.00 instead of 8.00.. I thought some something was broken at first (which seems to occur with more frequency as of late). Basically it appears anything dated after May 30, 2017 is considered "recent" as some G3 items are 0.99 and others 1,99. (I verified this by going to the read me pages for the last 1.99 item and first 0.99 one)
When I started putting items in the cart shortly after receiving the email notification, the full, not discounted prices, were showing on the page. However the discounts did appear after putting them in the cart.
So it appears to be working as it should as the lower prices now show on the Outlet Store page.
Yeah the Outlet premier is a mess, the categories need separation...
Outlet replacing Fast Grab and Lightning Deals looks like a good thing to me!
My hope is that it doesn't update more than once a day.
Ideally for me it would update once or twice a week. Actually great deals, without constantly poking your brain with FOMO.
Well I for one will miss LD dearily. They stacked with Tokens and other Sales so there were some fantastic deals if You were patient enough.
Oulet does not stack with anything as far as I can see so it is like the old Fast Grab, which is also the reason I have not bough anythign in Fastgrab in 2 years.... but bough a ton of LD.

I do like this, it would be great though, as others said, if we could get info on the update cycles. I can't imagine it will be daily, seeing the considerable size of the selection. Some nice stuff in there for sure!
I don't understand the people talking like LD with tokens could get better disounts than this new Outlet deal (which can't use tokens). How often were your tokens gettings things on a LD to cost under a dollar (which would have to be something that was already being discounted to less than $2 before applying tokens)? And even if you occassionally did do that, that's 1 thing on 1 day once in a blue moon. You could buy 10 or 15 things (or more) today, and even without Premier membership, you can be getting 5 for $5. Even cheaper with Premier. Similarly if it's more recent stuff, with Premier, you can be getting 5 for $9, which is $1.80 each. How often were you getting recent releases on LD for less than $3.30 (and that only reaches as low as $1.80 assuming that it is a Daz Original and using the full 8 tokens)?
Show me a PRO bundle on that Outlet list because I bough *several* under $5 from LD.
Not saying it was common, but it did happen. Even got some G9. I am sure we won't be finding anything like that anymore. (Probably main reason they wanted a more safe and curated solution, some people were just getting lucky and with random selection for everyone it was hard to control)
The Outlet store has existed for 1 day. Not sure where your assumption comes from that you can be so certain that you won't find things that rarely showed up ("not common, but it did happen") simply because they aren't in the very first instance of the thing that's been seen. I'd rather have an extended amount of time to catch the odd time a big bundle or G9 shows up in the choices, rather than hoping I catch it in the 4 hour window that it does show up. Also, I've literally bought bundles this morning that are over $50 full price and I got them for $1.80 (as well as things that are$ 35 to $40 for only $0.80 each). Not sure why your occassional Pro bundle being $5 is better than that 96 to 98% discount, which I've got on 7 things just today
I found one G9 Pro Bundle with LD. It was Dain 9-an older one for sure-but he was there. I somewhat utilized that promotion page, but because I use almost all G9, it was rare for me to find something that I could use.
I hope the Outlet Store is better.

Okay, beyond "5" needs a new basket 'cause the system is not recounting each set of 5 in the same basket or applying the better price to the items above the 5.
Also, membership coupon(s) do NOT work, expected but had to try and see what happens ;-) What happens though is the coupon "applies" but does nothing. But because it applies -- it will be LOST if you forget to remove it!!!
If I had known this were a replacement for lightning deals and fast grab, I wouldn't have been so confused about the lost use of tokens for the outlet.
My question now is why wasn't there a "COMING SOON!" at the beginning of the week/month? A lot of the confusion could have been mitigated by giving folks warning that it was coming.
For what it's worth, Daz seems to be big on pushing FOMO, to the point that we get multiple "final" days, coutdown timers, "four hours only!!", etc. Given the lack, I would guess it's not going to change super often. Which, with the tendency of the store to have issues, might be a very good choice.
I'll miss the G9 stuff, if today's first eligible cutoff is representative, but tbh I got it in a useful price range so rarely that I find it hard to care much. But I also have a lot of content on my WL from the Outlet's offered time range, and I'm not generally into character bundles, so I'm sure that impacts things.
I like what I see enough that I'm probably buying something there today. I hope it doesn't change too quickly or too often as there are a lot of items in there. And that's all I can say about it.
