I am only seeing stuff for 1.99 is there 3.99 stuff. Or do I only see it at half price because I am daz+?
low-key bummer that "sort by %" doesn't work properly
I'm glad for this Outlet Store, as the now higher DAZ+ / DAZ Premier prices mean I ultimately spend less, not more. Also, the restrictions of DAZ Originals and that I now have 9000 products in DIM I don't expect they'll be a huge number of items available that I'll buy. There are some though if they stay in there long enough, I looked today. Nice products.
I think this outlet sale is very good, I found many nice items at an excellent price even if some are a bit old. I was able to take some items that had been resting on my wishlist for a long time. I hope the turnover is not too frequent, because there are other items that I would like to take in the next few days. Let's hope it stays and is not a temporary initiative. As for Fastgrab, I have never bought anything, while I have taken something from LD, but never at such a low price as in the outlet, so I don't mind if these two have been replaced by the outlet.
I definitely prefer a more rotating selection, because every time the selection of the outlet store will be expanded, I will have even more pages of things I don't want to sift through the find the things I actually do want. Fast Grab was a single page, LDs were four items, both very easy to digest.
Not being able to filter by "there is no figure" is the true crime. I do not want to buy any G8, G3, V4, G2, G1, etc figures or their assets. It would eliminate most of the content, of course. But it would save me time, time I could be spending looking at store assets I could actually put in my cart and purchase.
The fact that categories never exists on sales pages is equally annoying.
As I've said elsewhere, a category for "Sale" would solve this. There's three sales pages still active? The filter has those three pages and this outlet subset as choices. Simple conceptually. I'm sure there's a completely unnecessary reason why it isn't possible with the current cart software.
Today I've bought six products from the outlet store at very good prices (Premier member here). I also really like that, unlike lightning deals, here we can also find non Daz Originals deals. This really may be a very nice addition to the store.
Very happy to see the outlet store, hopefully it's here to stay! Doubly hoping to see more g8/8.1 base figures, cleared 7 items out of my wishlist today, 5 of which were g8/8.1 base figures! My only suggestion is to pair the base g8/8.1 figures with their hd versions.
I managed to pick-up 72 items in a mix of 0.99 and packets of 5 at 8.00. Very nice.
Backwards way to do it until the hot place freezes over and that's available: go on the regular shop page, use the relevant filters there for what you're looking for, and sort by price. Chances are, if you're seeing it for an outlet price, it's part of the sale. (Some of them also have a little outlet icon tag in the corner, but not all. Not sure what's up with that, but it would be nice if they all had it.)
Am spendy foxxo today. Lots of fun things in the Outlet store and I don't even need to fret about tokens!
I feel like Julian is somewhat overshadowed by the Outlet store launch which is a shame because he looks A.M.A.Z.I.N.G
Incidentally 5 Outlet items in the cart triggers 20% off the cart thanks to the Julian sale, and that 20% works on gift cards too.
I like the Outlet idea. LD was a mostly miss for me it required constant checkins. Fast grab was decent long ago when it allowed stacking lots of other discounts, after that the 70% was good only on the occasion of something relatively new.
Now, the "Recent" term is being streached....by a lot. Early G8 is certainly not recent.
Kind of regret some of the stuff I bought from March Madness now at even lower price in the Outlet store. /lol
Regardless, this is a rare welcome addition/change that I approve of. There's still a ton of good old stuff in the DAZ library that newer "kids" getting into the hobby would likely turn away from due to the price. Now, there's incentive to get them into their proverbial toybox.
I like it. I loaded my cart yesterday and am repeating right now, lol. Lots of good stuff that I was going to pick up a month back for much higher but decided the price wasn't worth it. Definitely worth it for 1.99...
I spent the day going through everything on offer; I ended up with 9 items. Three legacy, six recent. This was partly because I already own 624 of the items . . .
Just refreshed the outlet store and don't see any changes, so it looks like this won't be a daily thing.
....just checked that out and yes. However everything is at full price unless you are a Daz+ member, then there is the standard 30% discount for DazO's
Never really bought much off of LD as it usually would give me characters I wasn't interested in, textures for clothing I didn't have, or older content I already passed on.
On the other hand there were three items from my wishlist in the Outlet Store.

means that (only) those will be swapped, while the others stay?
That symbol just means it's currently part of the outlet store

This outlet is a very good idea. The number of pages is also just right. More would be too much and would take up too much time.
Okay, Daz. You got me with the outlet store concept. I bought four carts yesterday and three of them were outlet-only carts. I was afraid when I saw the intro email that the outlet would be limited to ancient things that aren't useful to me, so I was pleasantly surprised to see so many useful things in there. I picked up several things that have been on my WL for a while, but even more items that I'd either never seen before or never considered buying. I also wishlisted a few things. I figure if I need something cheap to push a cart over the limit to earning another token, I can throw one of those in. Overall, I like this change.
To me it looked as if a couple items were in the outlet today that weren't in there yesterday, because I bought Torment 8.1 today, and if had I seen him yesterday, I would have bought him then already. Might be that I'm wrong, though.
I like that Outlet idea. Even though not a single of those 72 products in my wishlist is in that Outlet list, I still managed to find five old and two new items to buy yesterday and today. That's a lot more than what I found in the LDs in the last month(s)
Torment was there yesterday. I don't see anything new today. My guess is they'll rotate on either weekly or monthly basis.

I also noticed new stuff today, so it's not just you. Still at 26 pages thought, but I can't tell if things got pushed aside or swapped.
It doesn't look like anything has been added or dropped or swapped out as far as I can tell. I do wish they would publicly state what the rotation on this would be, because everything else (from freebies to lightining deals to fast grabs) always said how regularly stuff would be changed out. Seems like a weird thing to keep quiet about, and it's the only thing left worrying me about the Outlet store (which seems great so far)
All right, I'm in. This is worth my reviving Daz+ for.
