They are targeting people with lower budget, so it doesn't make sense to change the 1600+ selection too fast.

It would still be a good idea to have information in advance of an eventual change of the products included in the outlet store.

They could still be rotating a few fresh items through for the sake of freshness, imo. Otherwise, it's a good promotion.

I'm wondering if they are ever going to change the items.  Nothing new since the start of this sale.

Oh boy ... now you've done it! We never ask that question or the DAZ gods will double the list with Vicky 1 and Mikey 1 products!!!!  sheesh now you've really done it.!!!!  laugh

Remember it is an "outlet store" so the rotation is going to be slower than regular sales. Especially if they want you to hunt through 1600+ items to find that genuine Gucci bag find of the decade. smiley

DAZ Outlet store. You should browse. Winners to the Maxx. It's just Homesense! Consider this your pun-ishment!

^They will change. I think it may be monthly, but don't quote me. It may also be a case of Daz looking at the sales figures and deciding from there (as it's a new thing, it may all be in flux)

I've pretty much stopped looking already. It chews up so much time going through all of it to find one or two 'new' things, maybe.

I'd wait until they say it has been refreshed.

I've not stopped looking. Plenty more I would buy, budget permitting. I just like a little novelty, maybe something irresistable will join the mix. Except absolutely nothing is changing. And when it does, I anticipate something like a 100% turnover. But it's all a guessing game. So, who knows?

    yes

I bookmarked things on my wishlist that are also in the Outlet Store, so when they go back to the main store I will know they were in the Outlet to see if they return at a later date.

I joined Premiere earlier this month. I haven't been very impressed by what I've seen.

The sales and discounts are all too often totally confusing.

At first I thought the Outlet Store held promise. But I probably only added 10 items to my wishlist. And there are so many items in the outlet store.

I'll probably cancel my membership in a couple days,

If the format continues - And I hope it does - I suspect there will be items that return. There may even be some items that stay in there forever. Or maybe @Tomhip is correct and nothing will refill untl we buy all the items. surprise laugh

I like doing a certain amount of rummaging, up to about the point the characters change to G3. I did stumble on a G2 character for about .80 that looked interesting enough to experiment converting to a G8. The Outlet Store is ideal for me, better than Fast Grab and Lightning Deals. There's a huge selection and I like slower pace of turn-over.

    938, about 56%.   oops, I mean 720, which is 43%, 938 left to buyblush

I really like the idea of a monthly rotation, with products returning after a while. To me the outlet store is even better than the coupons!

Hmmm, nothing new, so probably Monday, when they will be at the office, or a one-month turnover.

Well it's clear for me, I spend less time and money on the daz site since the outlet store started. I bought stuff from fast grab pretty regular and it was fun to go look because there would be new stuff every couple days. Now I now there's nothing new to look at so why bother. Good work Daz.

If you ask me, the "free" HD character bundle you get every month makes it worth the price of admission alone. After that the rest of the discounts are gravy, and they're not bad at all. I just grabbed the pretty much brand new Julian HD bundle for nothing except the monthy membership fee. You can find a coupon code in My Account under Membership Management.

However, the last few character bundles have had a lot less contnt than when I originally joined Premier.

For me the main attraction of Premier is the free character bundle. If DAZ makes them too bare boned, they won't be worth the Premier subscritption. I also don't see the Premier exclusive shapes (or other subscrition only items) as a substitute for regular content.  Maybe if I could figure out how to find "Jill" for Julian my view might change, a bit.

The free character bundle, plus the double tokens, plus the other coupons, makes Premier more than worth it.  The extra discounts on other random sales is just an extra bonus.

The bigger issue is with how the bundles were completely redone.   Them having less content is pretty bad, but the thing is, the prices haven't gone down.  They are a lot less value than they used to be, but the coupon still has value unless the bundles go to a price of something like $15, which I never see happening.

The best use of the monthly free character bundle is to use them for the newer releases, when they're the most expensive option.  Right now for me the Centaur 9 Bundle is $40.94.  After the sale is done, he'll go up to the $64.99 range, just like Julian 9's Character Bundle, which is extremely overpriced for 4 items. Then you have the John 9 Bundle listed at $26.00.  This release is over a year old, but that's 6 items (5 if you minus the wasted slot of the HD Addon, a rant I made in another thread) for a significantly lower price.

At least all the options are listed as more expensive than the price of Premier, so you can always get your money's worth that way.

It's a "new", "old" DAZ+ Platinum Plus Store for me at the old prices as I don't own 1266 of 1658 items, items that are mostly since Genesis 3. I will definately be buying a lot of these if they stay in the Outlet Store long enough. If not, it will difinately take a specific use case to get me to even search for the product, let alone buy it.

Daz overinflating the price and claiming 4 items is worth $100 (when they know everyone will be getting it via free coupons anyway) is not what I call "getting my money's worth". It's ony more embarrassing for them now that they've thrown a few older bundes into the mix and shown how barebones the 4 item bundles look next to the ones with 6 (especially the ones without the HD slot filler)

Nothing new. Will we have a one-month turnover?

Just got an email promotion for the Outlet Store.  I assume it's being sent to everyone since it says "To welcome you back, here's $3 off for your first Daz Outlet Store purchase."

I've been purchasing stuff in the Outlet almost daily though since it was launched, so it can't be aimed at me personally.

I got one as well. I mostly got stuff at the beginning, and maybe a time or two since.

Regardless, there's still stuff I want from there, so... thanks, Daz!

The way these coupons for set $ amounts always work for me is I buy up to the dollar amount of the couon in extra products after emptying the cart for what I had planned to buy, use the coupon, and than load the cart back up with what I had intented to buy. It's a very happy $3 of free products I got today.
