The Killer Sweater was a Rendo purchase back in 2018, but it's been sitting around so long it's now moved to Daz.
I'm going to blame this very long delay on it not properly exemplifying the backless sweater concept - but I think I've now resolved that.
Bareback riding...

There is a nice Weekly Freebie for G3M at Daz this week, that autofits nicely to G9. https://www.daz3d.com/outlander-monk-outfit-for-genesis-3-male-s
I didn't really like Rococo Lingerie when I first saw it; the hole in the back didn't work for me. However, I later realised that the hole was so that it fits a centaur and relented to buy it.

(One of few assets I've converted where I haven't had to cut holes in it in Blender, although I did still do a bit of remeshing).
I also think this is the first time I've used Winterblack Gallery.
It seems nice, I hope you'll be able to made it available one day.
I'm dipping my toes in doing it manually and I'm a the stage when every discovery lead to tens of unknows, so an automated way would be great :)
Nice render and nice bouquet: where did you get it ? :)
I have a new render too, but with far too many items never used before to list them so here four I like among them:
Maybe it's not completly in the perfect mood for Valentine Day, but honestly, what better gift someone can make to parents of young kids than taking care of them for a couple of days, allowing parents to recharge their battery and have time just for themselves
Even if you disagree, you're old enough to have discover what Vick 9's youngest niece is now discovering, life's not always fair even if I hope it's treating you as fairly as possible.
So, yes, 'It's not fair… I want to help you turn the bike too, Uncle Vic': short story and items used on the gallery.
(I have one regret with this render: I didn't find a way to get better light on the road ragging driver, at least one that felt not too artificial but he's not that important: in a couple of seconds, he will out of the main characters' life and will be yelling at someone else anyway
).

Inviting the ancient ghoul into your classroom to give a talk on historical language is a reasonable idea.
Not clarifying her choice of outfit or discussion topic in advance is a mistake.

Although the Hot Work outfit was a complete pain to work with, because I wanted to add textures to it, but this is what the skirt UV looks like:
Vertices completely out of order. After some effort, I corrected it to this:
If it's useful to anyone, I've included a package in the attachments that includes my attempts to reconstruct the original UV, as well as my own version that I feel has less distortion.
I need to poke my scripter again to see if he's made progress in automating the remaining parts.
The G3 to G8 version is working pretty well right now, able to generate all the missing joint correctives, so I've been using it for various conversions I need for renders.
Thank you !
Nice, I have this product :)

#AnythingGoes #4New #AllNew #StuffSoAncient
So I wasn't quite sure what to put this one under, but I'm really proud of it. All new except the characters. I've been working on this corner of the room since I got the European Style Apartment a little over a year ago, but it was a long process as I kept slamming into props I needed but didn't have. And then the two big holdups: I wanted an upright piano with articulated keys, and I needed to do the portrait over the mantle but that required a whole other set of stuff to do the render, and also to figure out how to get it into a frame and looking right. It took me a long time to know enough of what was possible and have the skillset to actually make it happen. So I'm really really proud of this little corner because I've been wanting to do this render for a year, and my skills finally caught up enough that I could.
Assets list a mile long, especially when you get into everything I did to kitbash the render for the portrait. Happy to identify anything that folk are interested in. Least obvious ones:
For the piano (since I bragged about it): https://www.daz3d.com/hd-grand-piano-and-poses-for-genesis-3-and-8 donated the keyboard to the upright from https://www.daz3d.com/i13-visions-of-the-past (which had to be drastically resized to fit the keyboard, and then duplicated and scooted backwards to make it deep enough).
For the tapestry: rug from https://www.daz3d.com/ultimate-rug-collection attached to the hanger (banner deleted) from https://www.daz3d.com/medieval-dinner-hall-props
For the portrait: frame is from https://www.daz3d.com/the-cat-collection but resized and fitted over a canvas from https://www.daz3d.com/fg-ice-cream-parlor
Only two things I'm not super happy with... the low light made the render grainy (maybe I could pretend that's stylistic) and even after fussing with it for an absurdly long time, I couldn't seem to get any add-on lights to make the light over the piano do the "pool of light" type thing in a way that looked believable.
Many thanks! I've had a lot of fun playing "Daz dollhouse" in getting their flat put together in a way that looks both lived-in and "them." It's always the little things that make a place feel like home.
After Zicon kept going on about having rendered Astaroth's buns, I decided I would turn him into a cookery teacher in my setting:

There's also https://www.daz3d.com/fg-kitchen which I bought with the intention of it being usable for a school kitchen, although I'm going to be blunt that I was disappointed when the set proved to have a lot of completely static components, so the ovens had to be swapped out with the ones from GCJellyfish's excellent https://www.daz3d.com/rising-sun-environment so I could actually open and use them for the scene.
(I will continue to cheerlead for GCJellyfish's stuff. The kitchen in his Rising Sun set gets a single promo render, but comes with this oven that's extensively posable with a fully adjustable clock. And that pattern continues across the other props in the set. Seriously, their stuff might cost a bit more than products that seem ostensibly similar, but it earns that).
Thank you for the rec on the Rising Sun environment... I'd passed it over because I don't really have a use for the venue, but I think I'll give it a second look now just for that oven. Sadly it seems like most of the FG props are static, even things like clocks where it would be really great if it was right more than twice a day. They're great for backgrounds but not so fantastic if your characters need to interact with things.
I didn't feel I had a huge amount of use for the venue itself either*. But my experience with GCJellyfish's previous products told me that even though I might not have had a lot of use for the whole set that I could expect the individual pieces to be extremely useful. It's very often the case that individual parts of their sets would be entirely decent products on their own. They don't put out much stuff, but the stuff they put out is fundamentally the most usable sets I have seen on the store.
Their Dirty Dishes sets are enough of a wonder when it comes to any scene revolving around cooking or eating food that it's actually surprising that I didn't end up using them in this particular scene. (But I certainly have on many previous occasions).
The only reason I wouldn't wholeheartedly recommend their products to someone is if they're genuinely not the right genre for your renders (like if we're talking about their car product but you only ever do historical fantasy). Because otherwise they're an absolute tool box of posing, morphs and variants of their different pieces.

* Although I did end up using it as the backdrop for a bunny girl render...
Couple of minor ones.
A recent challenge on a different site was centred around using assets made by Amy Aimei, and although this was done after my proper entries were in and it was all wrapped up, it gave me an excuse to use https://www.daz3d.com/glowing-beach, which I bought a while back after having been a bit disappointed with other beachfront products (usually too steep a beach to work for the compositions I had in mind).

And for this, I found the old G2F https://www.daz3d.com/restless and more specifically the zombie texture in https://www.daz3d.com/insomnia-for-restless in my library and decided it's exactly the kind of thing that would appeal to my ghoul character. Also finally got around to using the DeLorean I bought a bit back.

Punched the top up a bit with Iray and dForce (for which it's got pretty good geometry actually), and made a minor alteration to the text (using an online font matching tool to find something I could alter it with). I mean, aside from the fact she's the zombie herself, she's not of the persuasion that's in the market for a boyfriend.
I tell myself it's probably not worth adapting my conversion tools to do advanced conversions of G2F stuff, but then I do keep finding G2F stuff I want to use...
I realised while looking through my library that I had a massive number of dresses from Sue Yee that I liked but had never actually got around to using. So I broke out a lot of my cast for a night out.

I have to admit this still doesn't cover every one I've got but not used, but it does whittle down the list a lot.
There is also https://www.daz3d.com/shopping-street that I haven't previously used, but the reason for that is that it is in my opinion poorly optimised, and I don't recomend it as a product.
With my 16GB RTX 4070 Ti Super, I can load and render it with default settings, but it eats the huge majority of my VRAM. Wverything has materials/UVs assigned in a way that means that most of it cannot be easily converted to using a texture atlas - which also means limited texture resolution on close-ups. (I had to replace the pavement with https://www.daz3d.com/paving-stones-shaders-for-iray, although I also converted that to have some displacement). On top of that, only some prop reuse is instanced. (Which is worse than none of them being instanced, because the Instancify script can't handle scenes that already contain instances).
Eventually, as I wanted a street like this and didn't really like my other options, the only choice was to tell Scene Optimizer to crush the hell out of the textures and hope they were far enough away to not matter.
Counts limbs. Hmm, are you feeling under the weather?
Jade's on holiday! (See previous picture of her.) Being Matt's top model is a lot of work.
(Maybe she took the others with her?)
Huh? I don't get it.
Matt does a lot of centaurs, so there being two legs per person in a pic is unusual.
Oh! Yes. Thank you for the explanation. Now I do get it.
I started making subscenes of props so I can quickly add the prop I need to a scene. For example, here's my stool collection. No more hunting through my library for just the right type of stool. Just pull up the stool subscene, unparent the one I want to use (they are all parented under one group within the subscene) and then delete the stool group from the scene. I'm trying to do this for all the main types of props that I might use. Tables, beds, chairs, stools, bookcases, vehicles, etc. Especially the hard to find ones that I sometimes forget I own under poser content for example.
Also I just bought the Llama for Daz Horse 2, after all these years. So glad I did. I turned him into some kind of miniature toy horse hybrid.
good idea
Hey, I'm not a complete stereotype!
Some of my renders do have a completely average number of legs per person.

See? 8 people, 16 legs.
Ah, but I counted limbs.

I realized just recently how much fun toon morphs can be.
PalpaToon
acb Oh, that's too cute! And I love the title. Toon morphs and styles are universes of their own. Wonderful idea and render!
I bought dForce SPR Waist Hugging Dress for Genesis 9 after passing over it a time or two, because it kept haunting my thoughts. It had an unusual look that differentiates it from so much store stuff. It comes with many color and pattern presets. The skirt dForces well, although this standing pose is not a very good demonstration of its abilities. I did a sitting pose that looked nice.. Here is an example of the pink preset. I chose a plain color to show the garment details better. With the patterns, the construction details are less obvious.

She needed something to look at with that pose I chose. My motto is "Any render is better with Richard Haseltine in it", so there he is on the chair. The chair and room are from Linday's Rococo sets.
