I think I just wasted 13 on a haircut.  No one at my home noticed I got a haircut.

you knew in the beginning, Indiana was gonna end up in a pit of snakes before the end of the movie. classic foreshadowing

I don't recall any mention that Indy was afraid of snakes in Raiders until the Well of Souls is opened. Faulty memory though,  so I could be wrong. smiley

when he got in the plane after being chased by the rolling flaming boulder,  was a snake in the plane (doh, that was another movie)
the pilot guy says "show some back bone

or it was a lego boulder.  can legos roll?

    or a doh-ldur laugh

You're right of course, totally spaced on that one. But,but, flaming boulder? Lotsa dust, not fire/smoke I think. smiley

To paraphrase Oscar Madison:  "They actually have courses in COBOL?  I thought it just comes."

.....indeed. On a warm day I find a couple half litre glasses of Hacker-Pschorr to be most refreshing.

...no major Monday complaints save for the usual ones involving the ongoing curse I seem to have with traffic and inability fo find an affordable place to live.

    I did an art :3

Over at Capcom's Japanese webpage, they have/had a calendar for Monster Hunter with various days dedicated to certain things. Sometimes people, sometimes places or things, but most frequently were dedicated to various monsters.  August 9th of last year was dedicated to the "Strange Bird Dragon" - the Yian Kut-Ku, and July 20th of this year is dedicated to the electric sea dragon Lagiacrus :D

(Tomorrow is the "Elder Dragon of the Mists"  -  Chameleos)

Also, I love Kut-ku. He's so derpy and silly, charges at you then trips and falls onto his face, and when he enters his 'Enraged' state he jumps up and down squawking like he's throwing a tauntrum x'D

Well, it was in 1991.  That's when I started classes. I got my degree in 1993.

Terrifyingly enough, there are still a HUGE number ofCOBLO apps out there, and I routinely see calls for COBOL coders.  There are a number of COBOL compilers, free and commercial.

Who woulda thought? I would have expected all the COBOL apps to end up in C++ or Java... indecision

It's not everybody's cup of tea, but was my favorite.  Ah, the memories of melting into the universe!  Or alternatively, playing "normal" while higher'n a kite. laugh  But I'm still waiting for the flashbacks that the "authorities" warned us about. sad Perhaps the last 45 years have been one continuous flashback and I just missed the clues? frown Ahhh Uhummmmm...

I remember one hot Florida afternoon, walking from Melbourne to the ocean 3 miles across the causeway while serenely tripping watching the colors, and swirls and undulating forms that were the boats and cars and fishermen along the bridge.  I stopped and watched one burly rough looking fisherman land a fish.  When he had it in his bucket he turned to me and said quite distinctly "It's just another space in time".  OMG! FREAK ME OUT!  COOL! surprise

    Complaint:

I use an email service that operates on pop3. New update for Thunderbird did not work with pop3. After a lot of wasted time I was able to roll TB back to the previous version. I changed the settings to ask before updating. I hate when that happens. angry

  • SkirikiSkiriki Posts: 4,976
See if your e-mail service operates using pop3s protocol instead. More secure that way.
