I promised SapphireBlue I would post some of my favorite renders from the October sale contest. Well it is over and I created 35 artworks for the month and I'm happy to say I used about 50percent of my purchases!
One of my artworks recieved Honorable Mention...
I played a little with the dforce wind node. I need more practice but it's pretty cool. ENJOY!

That's about it.. I don't wanna hog this thread... The contest was rather quiet this year and I was surprised there was not much 'chatter'... Lots of artwork though... I reeeeeeeally wish Daz had some kind of system in place for us to 'like' a posted artwork. It was so quiet I'm not sure anyone even read my comments. Hope you all are well. I've still got September's purchase to post here... when I get something put together. Luckily I'm having a spending break for a little while. whew. LOL... Be well one and all!
Wow, Llola Lane, lots of renders and lot of variety. Well done! I wish we had "likes" too, but we do have the in the gallery section.
Neo-Luddite
or Rage Against Cyberpunk Corridor
Another Interior that my computer does not want to render, so...
Kat (new essential G9 character) is making it renderable.
New, also used:
dForce Angie Cuffed Jeans Outfit for Genesis 9
Curly Top Updo Hair for Genesis 9
Emotions Expressions for Victoria 9
Also - Ron's Embers, FSL Rigged and Morphing Deep Magics Iray, Photoshop and Filter Forge
Thanks luci45 I will try and get them uploaded to the gallery asap. Not sure anyone looks at the gallery but it's a good place to keep my artwork organized ;)
I put things in my gallery. Not sure how many people wander through there and don't even really know how to use it myself other than to post things, but it's a helpful storage place.
Same here... I paruzzzzzzzzze now and then... So hard to 'watch' someone or find peeps. No search feature... I'm so lost in the gallery. I very rarely get comments and I must admit I don't leave many. Only special artwork that grabs my attention gets a comment from me. It would take a full time job to look at all the artwork there... LOL
I like browsing the galleries and commenting when I have time. I post an artwork in my gallery occasionally but most of what I render are works in progress and not polished enough to post. I get inspiration from seeing the art others create, and it's fun when I look at a beautiful artwork where the products used are credited and I realize I have several of the items. It makes me think how I could use those products in my own art.
@Llola Lane You post so many delightful renders it's hard to choose a favorite, but of this batch I like #31 Secret Garden best because it reminds me of the Lord of the Rings trilogy movies.
This is a test render of the pilot outfit from https://www.daz3d.com/sci-fi-pilot-outfit-with-starship-for-genesis-8-female modeled by https://www.daz3d.com/victoria-8-1. I used a pose from this set: https://www.daz3d.com/z-super-heroine--poses-and-partials-for-genesis-3-and-8-female
Oh thank you for saying Calliope23... it is one of my favs too... It was unintentional but I imagine she is telling her lover that she is with child! He seems happy to hear the news. I like how artwork can tell a different story to so many people... I like your story too. :)
Well done on your artwork too. I can't wait to see what else you post to this thread :) and gallery ;)
luci45 and FirstBastion Thank you both so much!
Calliope23 Your render with Lesya is very lovely! I have her on my wishlist, but feel like getting her much sooner after seeing your render. She looks so sweet!
Matt_Castle You've got skills! Great work on the skinny leg morph!
Llola Lane Thanks for sharing your favs from the contest thread. Those are all great and so varied! And thanks for sharing "Coffee and a good book!" too.
My pleasure... I'll be working on my September artwork after the holidays... busy busy right now. Stay well. :)
Version on the right is with a cheap AI denoiser pass.
From the sales:

https://www.daz3d.com/casey-hd-for-genesis-9 (with a couple of third party dials spun)
https://www.daz3d.com/future-down (fatntastic, comes with some great low-level lighting)
Scavenger Giants
Some of my puchases from Oct and Nov. I didn't know what to do with that wagon train, but it seems useful to these guys.
Zoren Hair for Genesis 8
dForce Toga Outfit Textures
dd pbr alien rock shaders for iray vol 1
Medieval Wagon Train
Hellenic Agora 1 & 2
sid That denoiser definitely made a difference. Cool render!
luci45 I love the scaling! This is so different and very fun!
In another iteration, you might need to put down some little humans hiding behind some of those ruins or rocks.
Thank you for your kind words, LLola Lane and SapphireBlue. I love the stories behind the artwork and the stories that the artwork here tells. I was busy today rendering something for the other thread on using old content and finally got that finished. Sid, I love the beautiful dance in your renders, and luci45 your giants are amazing. The whole artwork looks like it came from a storybook.
A couple of these "new" things are from the PA sale, which ... yeah. Still have a pile of untested stuff from that. But most of this is constructed from items that I picked up in the last few days.

Vicky and the Bugekko
This is my latest render with things from the recent sales. I love RawArt's Bugekko. He is the cutest gecko to walk on two feet in the entire galaxy. And I think that Vicky counts as a space princess like Leia or something.

aweeeeee... WHAT a splendid family portrait! Well done Calliope23
Thanks, Calliope23 and SapphireBlue.
Calliope23, I like your potrait too. Bugekko is on my wishlist.
Queen of the Nile
My first opportunity to use some new items - Lesya is the most recent (from November sales), Eye of the Lotus and Kon Hair are from the last days of the Daz+ Sale.
Just to let y'all know, I love what you guys are doing here and in the other thread, and I come in literally every day to check out your new pictures. Thanks for sharing!
Wow. The Kon hair looks so sleek and glossy
