TA-DA! Charybdis! Currently downloading Bryce and DS, then it's content copying, then install my DAW software. Obviously going to spend a lot of time watching things download... :blank:

Things install lightning-fast, though.. small blessings...

Stuck at home with vodka and rum.. can't afford to go out, spent my "go out" money yesterday. All extra fun money went to the laptop. But she is lovely and it's fun spending the weekend with her.

I might have $40 left in the bank when everything settles down.. I'll know Tuesday, but my math says there's enough for food and another bottle of booze. :cheese:

It's not like we haven't seen you before. But if you want to avoid that, you would simply need to angle your shot a bit. Pivoting the laptop just a tiny bit would have kept you out of the reflection.

Both Scylla and Charybdis are on a surge protector, a $80 one :blank:

Scylla is in a cooling pad, Charybdis will move to it once she's fully loaded and Scylla will move into the back room as a server.

This is the most I've paid for anything in years... :ahhh:

Hmmm.. I just realized I've never see any hats like the ones below in the DAZ store.

I can understand why they aren't popular in the real world. Does anybody other than the British royal family wear Frisbees, Sombreros and padded toilet seats on their head?

This is one of the last commissioned artworks I'll be getting for who knows how long. At least it brought a smile to my face seeing it pop up in my inbox, the artist saying the work was done and it was ready to be uploaded.

Great Jaggi and Qurupeco, both from the third Monster Hunter game (Jaggi on the left, Qurupeco on the right), suited up in aprons and doing worky works for some food joint because they couldn't land a spot in any in-game quests :P Jaggi doin' the cleaning, Quru doing the advertising.
Not sure that's a bad thing mind you, means they aren't getting beaten up and shot at, but hey. Least they look cute!

Haven't been doing any art of my own though, don't feel there's any point in it anymore...

I could never understand women's impractical hats. I think the only sensible hats I've ever seen on British women are those worn by Nora Batty. Practical women deserve practical hats! %-P

Long time favorite British comedy. Been on for decades. Maybe not funny to young people but when one approaches the age of the characters, one relates.

here is the old part plus a little new part

Four stared at the girl's dead body. She apparently jumped out of her tower. He could have helped her a long time ago but did not for whatever reason he forgot. Or maybe he tried but tried in a wrong manner. Rapunzel was the girl's name. Her long red hair made a bed for where she lied. She looked asleep in some ways if it was not for the unnatural way she lied on her hair.
He had to do something quick before the Prince saw him or the witch came to check on the girl. He could revive her but that would not help her broken heart. She was dead in a way for some time. Her heart was broken when she saw the evil on the planet that her moon orbited. Four looked closely at the young girl. He examined her with his supernatural senses and noticed there was a small lump on her belly. She was barely showing but he knew that the Prince had touched her some months ago. At least once Four mused.
He touched the dead girl's stomach and whispered some magic words. What was in the girl's belly magically appeared in an older form in front of him? It was a girl who appeared to be a toddler but Four knew that the child should have been a premature baby if it was not for his magic. He took a pair of scissors from his bag and cut a pocket of Rapunzel's hair. He held the hair as he picked up the toddler.
'Hush,' he whispered. He took her to an old tree and flew up to a sturdy branch and waited while combing the girl's hair with his fingers. He was waiting for the Prince to return as Four had a plan. It might change things for him but it was worth the risk.
The little girl looked up at him and asked quietly, ‘Who am I?’ She had a little girl voice but the question surprised him. ‘Who am I?’ She asked again. Actually it was the fact that she knew how to talk with being only seconds old. Even at that it was a serious question. Four thought that most everyone had the question of who they were. He was just surprised that it came out of such a young child.
‘You are not my mommy,’ she gasped. ‘Where is my mommy?’
Four did not answer instead he stared at Rapunzel’s dead body. The little girl stared at him while he thought. Several minutes went by before Four answered, ‘What would you like to be called?’
    She shrugged.
‘I guess you are Callie since I do not know what to call you.’

...well one more day of Net access then I will disappear. As I haven''t received my cheque yet., my service will be shut off at mindnight tomorrow.. I already requested an extension (the original deadline was last week Sunday) so most likely I will not be unable to request a second. I also now will have to pay the full bill amount (not just the last month's charges) as well as a reconnect fee (for someone just to enter a few keystrokes) to get my service restored.

Can't even afford to sit at the corner Starbucks to use their Wi Fi either or even a Megabucks ticket.

Not sure what has is going on as I am getting no replies to my emails and calls.

Basic Net access should be free it has become such a necessity to do anything.

Well that sucks, hope it turns out OK I'll have a good thought for you :)

    ..thank you.

Up late (early? as it's 03:05) babysitting a render process and streaming a lot of music I won't be able to listen to for a while. Will have to pay 121USD plus whatever reconnect charges they throw at me.

Hopefully I'll be able to post the image as I still need to insert the characters and run the final render, Just checking making sure everything in the setting looks right. Going on 3hrs 45 min. Will be a lot longer with the characters so I'll be cutting it close.

Blech, that Net thing is a pain in the butt. Prayers and good energy towards you!

    ...thank you.
