Had difficulty falling asleep last night but today I might go to the zoo and then watch some of the Panthers fighting seagulls. Wait that did not come out right.

...meanwhile Blackbirds are pecking at Minutemen in Foxboro... ;-)

That's the Fourth Element. The Fifth Element is Boron.

But I was only the third +1, so the 4th element. Trust me, William Lipscomb was my wife's Ph.D. advisor, she'd never let me live it down if I forgot Boron.

...ugh, it looks like the road to the Superbowl in the NFC will be through Seattle. Carolina was hanging in there most of the game despite two turnovers in the first half. However, a 4th quarter Seattle TD, and just moments ago, an 89 yard "pick 6" (interception returned for a TD) of a Cam Newton pass has iced the game for the SeaSquawks 31 -10.

Panthers just scored to make it 31 - 17 but way too little too late.with only two and half minutes to go.

Tomorrow, it's Dallas at Green Bay. Will be heading out with a friend to watch it, early game though out here, 10:00 kickoff.

On the AFC side, Tom "Terrific" Brady and the Patriots had their hands full with the Ravens but managed to hold on for a 34 - 31 win to advance to the AFC Championship Game to face either Denver or Indianapolis.

off topic: I keep thinking that Eugene is the state capital of Oregon. Why?? Every time I try to look for tourist info about Salem, I type Eugene instead. Maybe I keep thinking about the big university in Eugene? O.K., good night folks.

That would probably be Salem, Massachusetts, that you're thinking of. There were actually more religious zealots than actual witches there.

I will likely post an excerpt on SoundCloud sometime next week, as a teaser.. I'm actually going to try to sell this one :gulp: so I might release one track as a freebie, but that's it! Thinking of selling the album for $2.99 or something since I'm not famous (yet)! :red:

On to Track 2 - "Kissing The Nightmare"! :vampire:

Just half an hour until I can order pizza and wings.. football in an hur and a half.. whoopieeeeeee!

    GO PACKERS!

...just about ready to head out the door to the sports pub. Way too early for beer though as kickoff is at 10:05 here. Maybe Mimosas or Bloody Marys.

Just got a text, my fiend is already there.

Sad bout the Ravens. They at least were in that game all the way (including intercepting Brady) compared to Carolina.

    Indeed, Go Pack Go!

That was Demolition Man! Great movie! A lot of great humor. "Take this job and shovel it!" And the fines every time you said certain words.

thanks! :) i kept thinking it was the judge one.
then there was the Denzel one, ... or Wesley Snipes.

was like a sub-sub genre for a few years.
