Morning. Wild weather seems to be dumping wind and rain right where it will hurt most. Our place is OK, garden still feels bone dry but friends and family are having a hard time as their roofs give up on keeping the outside out and the inside in :)

heat melting the roofing adhesive stuff?

100 mph + wind will do the job as well :)

Oh, I did! But unfortunately, I kept clicking on the other videos...then I was distracted from my distraction by Diane coming home, and supper, and NCIS.

...I found it funny, both for the squirrel and because a beer maker also makes sports drinks. Interesting.

    Pretty decent CGI s well.

Been off lending my two zloty's worth over on the political forums and making dinner.

    ...it is.

First this weekend is the divisional round, then the conference championships next week, and two weeks following that, the big game.

    Go Packers.

In Footy, looks like a dogfight between Chelsea and Manchester City as to who is going to take the BPL Arsenal (my team) is 13 points and 16 in goal difference behind both.

Feel all nice and warm inside now. Has more for the next couple days.

Feel I need to go into "snake mode" for a while after all that. ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Flying's not so bad. At least you get to sit in a nice comfy seat and let something else do all the work. Just think of those poor birdies. If you was like them you would have sore arms time you got where you are going. With an airplane once you get up to height you can just sit there and get bored, or read a book or something. Easy Peasy.

When my son first left home to go to Ireland he flew back to see us every two weeks. Flew in Friday and out again Sunday.

Half an hour until bank run time!

    In the 27F weather. :ahhh:

McDonalds for lunch, then back to the office. :blank:

Will have pizza and wings money, or might send out for Chinese! Definitely going out for some beer and fried okra this evening. :)

Code makes motor rattle. Motor does not move, only rattle. Is a puzzlement. :-S

...here in the States, coach seats are far from comfy. especially if you are tall and/or have circulation issues. Once the person in front reclines, you effectively have someone sitting in your lap. To pack even more passengers in, many airlines have gone to a seat design that has a smaller frame and less padding. Fist class? It would be cheaper to rent a car and drive, plus, even being up in front isn't the same like it used to be either unless you are travelling overseas and on a good carrier like Virgin, Lufthansa, British, Thai, Qantas, or Emirates (crikey, flying tourist on Emirates is almost on par with first class on any US carrier).

My fear of flying these days is not from knowing I'm leaving the ground, but because of being nickle & dimed for every little thing that used to be included in the ticket price, getting stuck in that middle seat because they screwed up on my reservation, standing in long security lines, having to walk though that full body X-ray machine, being patted down like I was some sort of common criminal, hoping that we will be on time to make my connecting flight, hoping that connecting flight isn't on the other end of the terminal (or in "the other terminal" as is the case with hubs like DFW, LAX, and ATL) and wondering if I'll be flying the same airline on my return trip home because the one I was on went bankrupt and got bought out by another.

Thankfully for me, there is the train.

And that was posted when? 8:50 am? It's 1:44 pm here and it's still only 27 F, cloudy, and there's snow on the ground. :shut: I was going to head out to the Post Office today, but I think it can wait until tomorrow.
