...ugh up late last night. like well into early morning troubleshooting my Comcast site account. Started with needing to verify my email addy to post comments on a political forum. I have a couple forums tagged to my Comcast email account as they didn't like GMail for some reason. The odd thing is my username and password are saved (I ticked the "save my log in box") and I was recently on my account there to pay last month's bill.

Beforehand I thought maybe the password default got changed so I went to password recovery where it would not recognise the username. When I just entered the "B" instead of "BC" it sent an email to a Yahoo mail account.

    ...I don't have a Yahoo mail account.

Ended up having to go into a CS chat session which took forever, during which the rep discovered there was no site sign on or username whatsoever associated with my account number. I mentioned that seemed odd gain as I was just on it few weeks ago. to pay my bill and review my account. So somehow, some time between last month and now,, not only my user account but any history of it was apparently deleted as that is the only explanation I can come up with. Very strange indeed. Ended up having to open a totally new user account (under the same name the old one was which is why I feel it was deleted or it would have screamed at me there was an account under that username) which most likely means I will have to change my profiles and logins on all the various political forums which required it for my username.

    Not very pleased.

...and I never mentioned about the billing overcharge I feel they did, nor the fact my deposit still hasn't been credited to my account and it's been over two billing cycles already because it was so late and I was too tired.

I can't wait for Google Fibre™ to get here.(we are one of the early targets for service) as Comcast has been bending their customers over more than usual lately.

Probably between 20 and 30 minutes before frostbite sets in.
