    MAJOR complaint!!!!!!

My temp agency switched to a new payroll company.. who then messed up paychecks for the entire company! :ahhh: :ahhh: :ahhh:

So, no paycheck today and a ton of panic in the office.. they're trying to arrange WIRING money into everyone's accounts.. I might have to survive a low-funds weekend.. might not see money until Tuesday, at the latest. :ahhh: :ahhh: And rent is due on Tuesday, so if no pay by then, look for me under a bridge! :ahhh: :ahhh:

Needless to say, I'm going to take 1/2 this paycheck and start a savings account.. $600 is two weeks worth of minimum-burn-rate living, I should have than in about 3 weeks. Then $100 a week into savings to tide me over idiocy like this! :cheese:

Whole affair has given me screaming indigestion.. just had my last miso soup.. le sigh.

Will sip coffee, render, and relax. :)

    Feh, feh, feh, today sucks!

Morning. Hot hot hot hot hot hot hot hot. Gusting North wind bending treetops and blowing seagulls around the sky - so far not much fire activity in the suburbs but the next 48 hours will be a waiting game :)

...whoever at the temp agency made that bum call ought to be sacked for the screw up (of course they probably got their pycheque on time). I'm sure they have other clients as well who's employees received the same bad surprise.

Just this past week there was a company in the Boston area whose pay service did a really bad booboo. Instead of the money being deposited into worker's accounts, the same amount was withdrawn from their accounts! Yikes, for those who didn't have enough...overdraw fees! This was the last paycheck before Christmas, too!

Smoke's coming down this way... the fires remain out of control and "Serious". It's currently a clear blue sky day with 31degC (90degF) heading for 39degC later (102degF)... (>_<).</p>

...they better have made good as well as payed any overdraft fees that were incurred by their blunder. I would say even add a bonus considering the bad timing.

I don't know about bonuses, but they worked hard to straighten it out as quickly as possible and they did cover any overdraw fees and such.

When the fire symbols are white instead of red, does that mean they're coming under control...or does it mean they're now white hot? :bug:

...julie newmar was the skinny ...

She was my favorite villain on Batman (60s TV). Later she was in a show titled My Living Doll. She was supposed to be a robot...a very sexy robot.
