Apparently understanding how a resistor-capacitor circuit requires calculus! :ahhh: I haven't had any math other than pre-calc, and that was over 35 years ago! :ahhh: I don't understand any of it! :ahhh: WTF is a differential equation? NO DON'T TELL ME!!! :ahhh:

This blows. Want a burrito now, and many beers...

*edit* My brain just threw up,,,

Not to fear! The goal of all engineers is to convert higher forms of mathematics into simple Algebra. There's a transform for everything. The resistor-capacitor circuit is a first-order linear differential equation. There's a transform for that. The solution is well known, so you just plug in your numbers and solve the Algebra. You can even do that in Excel...

...galleries still borked for me, but from what I can see through the "swirly fog" really nice.

Nearly had a KK moment of swirl there... but found that once scripts from sharethis.com were enabled (as well as daz3d.com and googleapis.com) then the swirl goes away. KK, are you still running NoScript with all scripts disabled?

...not for Daz, the site is totally whitelisted, at least last I checked, though FF managed to sneak an update in on me so it might have reset something.

They refer to scripts off-site now (or rather, some element of this newer interface does). When I went to look in the gallery, there are a bunch of other hosts needed for "normal" functionality - if you want to get rid of the swirly fog, check to see if your NoScript is blocking sharethis.com and if so, enable it temporarily (or not, as you wish).
...well No Script is allowing "share this", but I still get the swirly when I click on an image thumbnail to view it.
Hmmm... so yours looks like this? ... if so... I have no idea, sorry v(~_~)v. There may be other "super-paranoid" settings inside NoScript that you may have set, but I'm not familiar enough to troubleshoot it.

(as near as I can tell, that page requires only daz3d.com, googleapis.com and sharethis.com to function -- all the other junk is for those "like" buttons and sundry ads).
...yep, see the same thing but the swirly is still there.

I found it works with a "plain" URL:
    http://www.daz3d.com/gallery/images/51368/
Also, when in the gallery, Open in New Tab makes the images work without the swirl.
...doesn't seem to be working for me. Galleiers already show as as "ww." not "HTTPS/ww. "Also tied opening in another tab and the swirly still will not go away.

...well Florida State is no longer undefeated. Afte making it though the entire season eking out wins in the closing minutes there s no comeback for the Seminoles in Pasadena today as #2 Oregon destroyed them 59 - 20 to earn a spot in the National Championship game next week. Things were petty even before halftime with the Ducks up only by 5, 18 - 13 and it looked like it would be a close one which favoured Florida State. Then came the second half where the Oregon defence took control, forcing five turnovers all of which the Ducks' offence capitalised on, scoring four TDs and the defence scoring one on a 58 yard fumble return. Four of the turnovers occurred in four consecutive FSU possessions.

The second half became a total beatdown by Oregon as FSU looked totally demoralised, even after recovering an Oregon fumble, going three and out.

So one half of the stage is set, Time to see who Oregon will meet in Arlington Texas on the 12th, Ohio State or 'Bama (that game just underway).

Out of curiosity - have you tried the "Temporarily allow all this page" NoScript option? (when you have the swirly thing happening).

..yep., I've even looked in the options menu to see if there was something that might be causing the gallery view function to be blocked.

This may not mean anything and I don't even know if Java is used at all, but have you updated Java lately? They don't allow a setting of 'medium' or whatever anymore and I wasn't able to go to a site I often go to without putting it on the Java 'allowed' list first.

Well, nope, not Java. I'm getting the whirlygiggy thingy too. Added site to list and still no go.

...yeah the only thing I can think of is there must be something with the latest update of FF that changed a setting somewhere to cause this. Part of the reason I usually am so reluctant to update it every time a new version is released. Really annoying as I have no other ideas.

...well the Sugar Bowl was a total shock. "Bama looked to be in control but before the end of the first half, Ohio State scored back to back TDs one with juts a minute and a half left to come within one point at halftime, 21 -20. Like Florida State earlier, Alabame became turnover prone in the second half throwing three interceptions, one which was run back for a touchdown. That was pretty much the difference as both teams traded scores with the Crimson Tide being that one extra score behind.

The fascinating part about it is this was only the second game in which third string QB Cardale Jones started, the other being the Big Ten Championship where the Buckeyes shellacked Wisconsin 59 - 0. So from riding the bench to being thrust into the national stage (due to injuries to OSU's #1 and #2 QBs during the regular season) it was almost a Frank Capra-ish a storybook ending.

Jones was also assisted by OSU's bruising ground game, led by their star running back Ezekiel Elliott who rackied up an impressive 230 yards scoring 2 TDs (one an 85 yard run) setting a Sugar Bowl Record.

So the stage is now set, the high flying high scoring Oregon Ducks (who average over 40 points per game) vs. the smash mouth, grind it out game of the Ohio State Buckeyes. Not the matchup most expected to see that's for sure but one that could turn out to be the most entertaining.
