...well it appears after two days of not being able to purchase anything, the checkout error issue was cleared up.  At least my order today went through (got Filter Forge Pro for 27$).

Does that include a free upgrade to 10 (it does if you buy it on the Filter Forge site) ?

when I bought FF8 through Daz I reached out to  directly to FF and asked them if I could get the upgrade to 9 since I bought through DAZ and all they needed was my confirmation showing I had bought it and when the new one was released they did give me the upgrade.  they were fantastic to work with!

Yes, I did that too with FF 7 to 8, was just wondering if they had changed their policy.  BTW, how do you get it for $27?  Current price in the store is $99.

Some of the products in my Product Library don't have an order number or -date, it just says "Manually added".  Is that something that will be fixed later?

I could have sworn I went to my Product Library last week and the Interactive Licenses were filtering through to child items in bundles???

    Seems to have reverted??

I only see "Interactive License" for the one bundle I have plus two single items - the rest of the products I have with interactive licenses say "Standard License".  Same on the product pages.

Sorry, long thread. Has there been any word on the browser add-on being completely borked?

If you mean Daz Deals have you checked its thread? Depending on which browser you are using I believe it is largely operational.

You can check the details here: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/106296/announcing-daz-deals-browser-add-on/p1

After the store change, we've rolled out a new version that works with the current store. Most of the functions work. Gallery links don't, due to the gallery being down, and there might be some small functions that still need our attention, but all of the major functions are back in the new version.

It's Filter Forge 7.0 Professional (Win) that is currently on-sale and in the Cart it is $27.99 after 30% Holiday Loyalty Discount. But, if you need PBR materials, then you need Filter Forge 9 (or higher). Also, note that Filter Forge 10 is scheduled to be released before the end of this year.

    Well, the newest freebie https://www.daz3d.com/vyk-separates--dforce-skater-skirt

just shows DazCentral as download option ...

I hope the rest will be added.

Showing Daz Central only usually means "Somebody forgot all the download files. For any install method." Hopefully it does get fixed soon.

I'm missing multiple products in DIM, DAZ Central, and even my Product Library download links on the site itself. I've filed a ticket, but no idea when it will get handled (and it isn't time sensitive anyway). Edit: Whoops! I didn't realize that bundle pages just link to their individual products on the site now.

Something new that has been improved: "Additional Products Used in Promo Images" shows a carousel if there is a long list. Much better than a page full of other distracting products. Helps keep the focus on the product at hand, rather than everything else.

SOMETHING RIGHT WITH THE NEW SITE

I Really like this new feature. For a while now there has been a place at the bottom of a product page for items used in the promos. NOW Daz has added images to this, so you can now SEE which item is which AND if you already own it! Here is a page illustrating my point. https://www.daz3d.com/light-armored-vehicle-poses-for-genesis-8

Now if Daz would only reinstate that ONE line on each product page that says "Required products" it would be a big improvement!

OK, thanks.  I don't think you can upgrade from 7 to 8 now though, I recall the offer ended when 8 was released.

But in the old store it might disappear and reappear at random from pages that had it, whether that has been (and if not, will be) fixed now I don't know.

Missed the last 14 pages... The confirmation letters have stopped coming about two weeks ago and there's something strange going on with the logging status. Even though I logged myself out as I always do, this morning (12hrs ago) I decided to check the forums without logging in, but the forum still saw me as logged in and allowed me to post as myself, even though the blue man still said I was in fact not logged in.

Credit Card #s (Partial) and expiration dates are showing up on the order pages for purchases. There's absolutely no point in listing expiration dates with partial credit card #s, or even credit card #s.

These were on orders for which "store my credit cards" was unchecked. For daz to even be storing these on purchases for which the card is not to be remembered is not good. Especially given the very common malfunctions of store software.

This seems to have started happening between 12-7 and 12-9, before that it simply showed "credit card".

This is different from what I'm talking about. On the old site "Required Products" appeared ON the actual product page in the block of text. It would be under "Artist" and "Compatible Figures" and above "Compatible Software". It would also say if you owned it.

This makes a MASSIVE difference when looking at a large number of items. I could instantly look at a product & know what else is needed, the name of it, and whether or not I owned it!

What you're talking about only appears AFTER a product is in the cart AND if you don't already own it.

Required Products is/was usually there, before and after the change. What I would like to have back are the references in the other direction; what Add-Ons are available. That has been completely absent with the new store. Plus, I would like to see ALL items, including the ones I already own, in one of these carousel displays if need be (some have quite a few).

  • On checking out today’s Debut New Releases,  I found that if you if you click on “Ron’s Sparks and Embers”, it doesn’t take you to the product.    Instead, it tries to go to https://rons-sparks-and-embers.  Also, if I add it to my cart, it doesn’t give the holiday discount, then disappears the next time I refresh my cart.

PS:  In other news, last week, DAZ responded to my tickets from the end of November.   Glad to see that it didn’t take 6 weeks!   However, a solution has not yet been found (ISP security software from McAfee blocking logon to DIM, unless I use a VPN).

Something up yesterday? Everything I bought (Debut and 10 $1.99) is showing up on the sales page (Hide owned is turned on and they still stay the same after turning that on and off, and logging out). I click on them and it shows Purchased on their actual page, back to the main page and they are still 'available'. Turn off Hide owned and other stuff appears, this only affects what I bought yesterday. They are listed on my order, and in my Product Library, just not on the front pages of the each part of the sale.

    I think something is broke.
