    The store search continues to be weird. I was searching for the word "pennant" (as in a triangular flag), and the store decided to show me every piece of "peasant" clothing.

    At least with the old store, it would say, "I can't find anything with the word 'pennant'. Did you mean 'peasant'?"

    WILL NOT INSTALL IN DIM. Did it over and over.   And yes, those 41 food shaders aren't even IN DIM. 

    @dazRawb     We aren't echoing doom and gloom, we're stating facts. People don't have products in DIM. DIM won't download. For weeks DIM ready to download was blank. Product Library has missing products. Product Library is totally whacked in the order of purchases. Product Library is missing items. Can't use a credit card. Can't use Paypal. Still have sales glitches- and that was the MAIN thing cited for doing a new store. No, it's not going remarkably well.

    I had the same forum access issue... try deleting cookies for Daz3d.com and it may be instantly fixed for you as well... there was a cookie duplication error which for me led to the 400 Bad Request.

  • If the new store behaves better on the DAZ side, that definetly is an improvement. But the customer side sees largely the same issues as with the old store. Granted, the switchover is MUCH faster now, <sarcasm on> so the customers notice what does not work much faster, and they can support debugging the sale of the day discounts <sarcasm off>.

    But quite some issues I am not able to relate to the store. E.g. today, a new product was released that has ZERO options to download (41 Food Shaders, https://www.daz3d.com/41-food-shaders). AGAIN. Did happen rather regularily during the last few weeks. Either that, or half of the package was missing (Police billboards, anyone?). Or both (https://www.daz3d.com/bodyscapes-for-genesis-8-female).

    Any criticism on QA/QC is either ignored (I may be wrong, but the silcence on that area is deafening), or such posts are removed by the forum moderators. Its okay, as this is DAZ's forum, but it does not really help re-building trust.

    Download is really an issue. I have some downloads in DIM pending right now. Some of the items could not be loaded in any way but using DAZ Connect.

    Well, my Platinum Plus subscription expires today, and it still won't let me enter my saved credit card in the panel (it errors out).   I already got the "you are expired" e-mail two days ago, so I guess that's very efficient of them, some kind of time travel thing and they are nice enough to warn me from the future.  As a lark I did buy a Platinum Plus item last night, just to see if I was really expired, but it let me purchase with my "expired" account.  Strange how they remember my credit card for purchases, but I can't use my credit card to renew.  I just noticed the icons in the menu selector to get info about my account are gone, some kind of weird error/default icon shows up now.  I guess the new improved store software is slowly melting my information, getting ready to continue the dumpster fire.

  • I'm still not receiving any order confirmation emails.

    These stopped around the time of the store update, and while I haven't been buying much due to all the issues, the few purchases I've made were not acknowledged. Still using the same email address I've alway used, checked the spam folder, nothing.

    If Daz thinks it's good enough, they won't fix it ...

    He said it was performing quite well, it wasn't dismissing the issues that are affectign some people. We do need to bear in mind that people are far more likely to report problems than non-problems, which is good for getting them fixed but may give an unrepresentative picture.

    No one is denying that thre are still outstanding issues, but things have been fixed, others are affecting only some users which makes resolving them much harder than something which happens to everyone.

    Is it possible that 4.14 affected the ability of DS to identify G8F as a G8F when you select her in the Scene Pane and try to 'Filter by Context' in Smart Content to come up with nothing. I tried this on both of my DS computers, and in the new Beta DS when it was released and it happened again. I first noticed it about two weeks ago when I was testing new female characters and thought something was wrong with them, but they were associated with Genesis 8 Female correctly. 

    So for the past few weeks, I can only look through all my files for something I want to try for her. This is Wardrobe, Hair, Accessories, Poses... 

    Does anyone else have this or know of a fix?

    I'm having the same issue, but reinstalling the G8 Starter Essentials hasn't fixed it...  :/

    I only reinstalled G8F Starter Essentials and that seemed to do the trick. Also, I do not have that character Kalaa that was mentioned to contribute to the issue. I do have another character that seems to come up when I have an issue with reloading scenes that I am working on, and both G8F and MRL Gem show up as failed to load or something. As far as I know, Gem is not even part of the character I am using in the scene. Maybe I will uninstall her.

    is there the word "description" ? Did you click on it? Because the DazStudio downloads are hidden under description ...

    To echo this - I had to re-open a ticket about missing Historic Content twice before the example item I gave was manually added to my Library for a second time and it finally appeared as Purchased. Each time it was closed I was told the back end filters were working correctly - well I have just been through every order in 2011-2012 and logged another ticket for more missing content. The backend systems are not fixed. It is not for us to do all the leg work to find content we have paid for and get it re-added, it is for DAZ to make sure everything is in our Libraries correctly. Manually adding them when we point them out just clouds the issue and sorts the individual Symptoms, it does not deal with the Root Cause, which would fix it for everyone. I am really wary about buying any old content now because I can't trust the site to tell me if have already bought it.

  • Currently I am trying to redownload and install all my products  with DIM. However, a significant number of them are suffering from 'Download Failed' errors.

    Just adding for completeness.  The DIM issue of 'download failure' extends to Dark Edge Designs tutorials.  Granted, these are older tutorials.

    That sales are up likely has precious little to do with the store software and more to do with people being stuck at home.  And people aren't putting more tickets in because we're not getting any action on the ones we've already submitted.

    Yeah, it seems that the files that get stuck don't care about being new or old, they just appear at random.

     

    Two weeks ago I thought this problem was solved, right after I got escalated enough to get a direct contact with their engineers I asked for examples here and I only got one, which cleared up on it's own within an hour or two after I confirmed and forwarded it along. Unfortunately that amount of time wasn't enough for them to dig into it and figure out what is wrong. Just for reference, I don't think a file being stuck for an hour or two is acceptable but this kind of issue is only being reported by our account apparently (even though we aren't one of their larger accounts) so it is going to be a complex one to figure out.

     

    Thanks to the reports in this thread I know that it is very much not cleared up but it seems like it might be driven by traffic because there definitely seems to be more stuck files on this busy traffic weekend. I will be working hard with them on getting this resolved for good, and if we can't get a definititve resolution then we will do another download transition to a different system to get a system that works all the time.

    The issue did seem to be resolved for me (probably because traffic was lower as Rawb said) but I just hit it today with SKUs 62263 and 55547.

    It shows up in the Product Library, but no downloads. Also, no serial # listed in my serial # list.

    I bought it a while back, and was going to upgrade to Version 3.6, and just discovered there is no download... angry

  • Hmmm... 66 pages of this thread. surprise The summary at the front only lists the things fixed.indecision  I'm still getting my "Product Library" appearing incorrectly sorted so that the new items don't float to the top.  Not going to read through 66 pages to see if this is one of the known problems, but I can't imagine that I'm the only one experiencing this. sad  Worked fine before the enthusuiastic favorable prognostications proclaming a quick, easy switchover to new site software.  Yeah, been here before.cheeky

    Jack hasn't updated that first thread again since we pointed out all the things that were removed from the list that have NOT been fixed. It is the weekend. He is probably off. Hopefully he will go through the recent posts and add more to the list of known problems. Certainly the messed up Product Library sorting, products missing from the Product Libray, and the failing downloads should still be on that list, as well as the note that some people can't use Paypal or credit cards on this site.

  • Couple more for the "Download Failed!" pile. Won't go, either fails instantly or at some early point. All day yesterday and today.

    Some more information on the product purchase date and stuff: parts of the store are reporting the correct date (ie. my product library on the website, DIM, etc) whereas DAZ Connect does not. I must be one of the few people here that relies heavily on DAZ Connect... The workaround is to keep installing through DAZ Install Manager and refresh my library, but that's so clunky compared to installing directly in the application.

    Is it possible the host of the store has insufficient download bandwidth? I was downloading a bundle Scar G8M and had issues with certain files but when I tried at other times they failed and later they downloaded without any issues. It's too sporadic to be DIM. The downloads start and at 12 mb starts decending to 0B when I can download well past 100mb else where. Other times it shows 0B. Other downloads such as large software app & huge videos work well and yet the manual downloads have no such issues.

    Edit: Then like a roulette wheel you click download and the same ones that fail will download without a hiccup, but the next one crashes, rinse 10 x and repeat at different hours get different results and is fast without hiccups.

    I own this product: "Casual Surf Wear for Genesis" but when I search in my Product Library online at DAZ3D.com it doesn't show up unless I search for this instead: "Casual Surf Wear". That's probably not the only way the Product Library search filters are broken but this is something fundamentally wrong with them.

    And it that's true of my Product Library it is probably true when I search DAZ3D store for products I want to buy, the forums for help, and so on.

    I have been trying all day to download a new purchase, https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-guritha-outfit-for-genesis-8-females and it immediately fails. I have given up for the night and will try in the early morning. The food shaders finally got downloaded.

    Just like yesterday, the website will not let me pay with any of my credit cards or with PayPal. I have tried every possible combination, including restarting browsers, restarting the computer, adding a new credit card, but nothing works. Am I really the only one with this problem?
