Wow, this thread has gotten so long, I don't know if anyone else has mentioned this or not, but I'm trying to change my email address in my Account Info area, and it keeps switching back to my old address (which no longer exists), and it says it's waiting for confirmatiion, but I haven't received any emails to confirm it. I put in a ticket several days ago, but I haven't heard anything. If it's going to my old email address, I won't get it. That email was with CenturyLink and that account was closed and we've moved on to Xfinity. My old email no longer exists, so I won't get ANY of my DAZ emails.

Daz is aware of the issue, I believe, and is looking into it.
A couple of other people have run into this, I can only suggest opening a support ticket as it may well be an account-specific issue.
Sigh ... going on 4 weeks now waiting for Daz to fix the issue with a purchased gift card ($200) ... cannot get the code to convert it to store credit. they essentially keep saying use the "view order details", and I keep telling them that it gets a page error (though that's the only order that generates such an error, of course).
You would think it shouldn't be so hard to generate a code for me that I can use, or simply give me the store credit. It's kinda irksome to have $200 "in the bank" that I can't spend.
Starting to get tempted to do a charge-back on the purchase, except then it would probably screw up the other store items bought in that same order that I'm using in a current project.

It's on my wishlist. But when I filter the list from "Low to High", it's on the top of the list as the cheapest item, but it's shown as being full price (I hope that makes sense).
Grrrr, does anyone know if customer serive will be live today. I purchased a gift card but the code doesnt work and I'm worried I'll miss out on the Black Friday deals.
Have you made sure you were using the code, not the order number, from the order page and that there were no sapces coming across? Also check that it hasn't already been added to your store credit.
Is it possible that 4.14 affected the ability of DS to identify G8F as a G8F when you select her in the Scene Pane and try to 'Filter by Context' in Smart Content to come up with nothing. I tried this on both of my DS computers, and in the new Beta DS when it was released and it happened again. I first noticed it about two weeks ago when I was testing new female characters and thought something was wrong with them, but they were associated with Genesis 8 Female correctly.
So for the past few weeks, I can only look through all my files for something I want to try for her. This is Wardrobe, Hair, Accessories, Poses...
Does anyone else have this or know of a fix?
My last few reports to customer service came back with a boiler plate reply that they had a high volume of reports and it would be weeks before they could address my report.

Yeah, there's a character or two that DS allows to screw up G8F compatibility. Kalaa is one such character, I believe. Reinstalling Starter Essentials usually fixes that up.
Daz really needs to do something about protecting that kind of basic functionality from rogue morph settings. It's becoming more and more common.

It is funny, Starter Essentials is one of those items that gets messed up when I reopen a scene that I am working on over a period of days, along with one PA's character.

The store won't let me check out. I can't pay with PayPal or any of my credit cards; I just get the message "Your PayPal transaction could not be processed at this time" or "There was a problem processing your credit card." I am trying to buy a $200 Gift Card in order to use it for further purchases. Very frustrating!
I just tried another browser and this time I got a different message for one of my saved credit cards: "An error occurred while processing this transaction." Looks like I won't be able to purchase anything tonight, because it's already quite late here in Europe.
So, I found a bug that's probably related to the new store messing up product order dates: I can no longer use DAZ Connect to sort by Order date, but DAZ Install Manager can do it without issues.
I see an update for Kalaa in my DIM. I never noticed any problems with her---mind you, I only loaded her once and did a test render with nothing else in the scene. Does the update fix the problems?
I am having the exact same issue. I cannot access forums on my desktop, using chrome. I get the 400 bad request whether clicking on forums link at top of store page or clicking on reply bot email. I’m using iPad to write this. I can’t sign in to the forums at all using chrome on computer.
I'm having the same issue, but reinstalling the G8 Starter Essentials hasn't fixed it... :/
Some DIM downloads are still failing repeatedly. Others work OK. I have tried for hours to get these two. I tell DIM to delete the partial file and then I try again, but they continually fail.

They won't manually download from my Product Library either. It says network error. So we are back to paying for products we cannot download.
Jack, this needs to go back on the list if problems in post 1, please. It has not been solved.
This download failed issue needs to get fixed. It is happening on a regular basis. I had the issue on three different products today, and two yesterday. Some fixed themselves, some still not working.
Jack - three items I don't see on your page 1 list, in a rough priority order
1) Export cart as CSV generates a really bad csv - all the product names are in the first cell of the second line with the prices (list and cart) cascading down column 1 from there -- all the list prices followed by all the cart prices. This is fixable by hand, but its a real pain on a large order.
2) Most new items don't have readmes; the side index goes to 70999 and we have skus into the 79xxx range now
3) the style sheet issue - the icons on the forum pages are still hosed
How are things that had gotten fixed now getting unfixed? Someone needs to feed the hamsters.
Ahem...take note Daz. I've let my PC+ expire - first time in a long while. I won't be renewing until the store is fixed, which, at this rate, might be some time in 2036.

@barbult Yeah, I tried the Make Me Teen since you mentioned it, and got the same thing. Download Failed in a blinding flash, before I could even blink.
Daz, you need to go back to the old store. Enough is enough. This is a DISASTER.
That button is part of the browser add-on IIRC.

Unfortunately, with this type of migration, going backwards usually isn't possible, or would be more painful for everyone than trying to muddle through with this mess. For one thing, it's likely that none of the purchases made after the changeover are in the old store database, should it still exist. (I assume it does, but that doesn't change the fact that it will be missing a month's worth of data.) That includes not only actual items, but things like gift cards and memberships that have other types of information attached to the purchase. Given the changes in the order number and the weirdness that happened with store credit at the change, it's likely that the new database is structured differently, as well, so reconciling the new purchases back into the old database might be even worse than this (and this has been spectacularly awful).
So, we're stuck, and they're stuck.
Facegen Artist Pro has no download options, neither DIM nor Manual.
It shows up in the Product Library, but no downloads. Also, no serial # listed in my serial # list.
Going back probably isn't possible, but yeah, DISASTER is the word.

I'll put in a ticket for both if they don't resolve today, and will be returning them some time later (probably by Monday or Tuesday) if I haven't been provided a working manual or DIM download by then. I do want these items, but can live without them and there is a point where DAZ's bumbling stops being cute. I do feel sorry for the PAs though.
The store doesn't have an export cart as CSV function, so this is a problem in some browser extension you have.
The Readme's are being uploaded, but will take some time, there aren't as many missing as you may suspect because we did skip a lot of numbers to make sure there was room between the old store and the new store.
I have an engineer working on this one, there is some small component of the theme that is different between the old and new systems. The forums extracts it's theme from the main site by hitting a specific page and chopping out the header and footer to re-use. Looking at the output HTML they are nearly byte-identical but if the forums are switched over to the new system it turns the theme back to 1996 mode. So now it's line-by-line debugging trying to figure out what little byte is different enough to reject the theme.
The intermittent download issue isn't directly tied to the new store, the download system was switched to this new cloud-based download server about three months before the store change. The intermittent downloads seemed to start happening about a month before the store change and it shows up as a download initially starting, then getting really, really slow and then closing the connection. This issue has come and gone a few times and tends to be sticky to a couple of files out of the tens of thousands we have available to download before it finally relents and lets the download complete as normal. I am in touch with the engineering team on their end to get this resolved.
On a more positive note, unlike the doom and gloom that gets echoed through the forums the new store is actually performing quite well, sales are up and sales support tickets are down. For the first time in nearly a decade the store went through the entirety of black friday without any downtime. In addition the midnight site rollover (which was not fully completing many evenings until about an hour and a half after midnight) now completes in about 5-15 minutes (most of that waiting for intermediate/browser caches to clear out). I do appreciate the direct line of communication with you all so thank you for speaking out about what is troubling you.

Sorry - but telling us that the new store is performing quite well, when some people can't buy anything or others can't download the bought items ... well, it doesn't sound good to me.
If Daz thinks it's good enough, they won't fix it ...
