    Today is Day 10 of not having anything in my DIM Ready to Download. I'm so frustrated. I know people always say there were problems with the old store, but in my view, nothing like what we're having right now. I  just want to download my new items, which should be up to over 20 of them now. I put in a ticket, but nothing has changed with my DIM. I just want it back.

    The problem I'm having isn't in the store itself. No problems checking out with my cart or seeing the correct prices as a lot of people have been seeing. Mine is strictly wth DIM. I keep opening it hoping to see a nice list of Ready to Download, but nothing. Refreshing it doesn't work, swithing back and forth between Installed and Ready to Download. Nothing. Everything that's already installed is showing in there, but nothing. Now I hear that there's an update for DAZ Studio, but I can't install it because nothing shows in my Ready to Install so I won't see any updates. I'm about ready to cry.

    Honestlythis has been the Most Frustrating store update I have experienced in all my years with DAZ!

    If you are still having problems processing your credit card, please go to your account settings and delete your saved credit cards and addresses and add a fresh address in there. Then during the checkout re-enter your card from scratch. The new credit card handling system is more strict so differences in your address could be showing up more than they used to, the only information we see on this end is that the card was declined and obviously we don't log any of the information that you are entering so we can't see anything more.

    I tried all of that this morning, but it didn't work. Why would my card work one day, then not work the next day, then work the day after that, and now not work today?

  • The issue has been talked about by a few people, and I know it's not a major problem and can be fixed later, but the items which have separate texture packs etc don't show them at all on their respective pages. If this is an intended "feature" of the site, then I don't understand why, but if it's just a mistake of the new software, then I hope it can be fixed when the major stuff has been smoothed over. On a similar note, I noticed that a small few items have no required files mentioned. Just mentioning just in case it also doesn't get noticed in all the other larger messes.

    Edit:  Is it just Firefox that isn't showing interface icons?  For instance the Options menu that lets you edit a post?  It looks like this:

    Nope, not showing right in Chrome, either. I get empty rectangles.

    So, all this talk about store software issues...but there are issues in the forum software as well.  I have been told several times over the past few years that they are separate applications, which is allegedly why the forums sign you out if you look at something in the store.  If they're separate, why is the store upgrade messing with the forums?

    What issue? The only issue I know of that is outstanding is that it doesn't show up as being purchased on items that it wasn't purchased on even if it was purchased on the containing bundle.

    I'm not seeing any error messages on the server side, and we have been testing the system with both small and large (including an account that "owns" every product in the store) and DIM isn't having any difficulties.

     

    I have seen other users reporting the same issue so we are still looking in to it, are all of your products showing up in your product library in the My Account section of the site?

  • Go to forums. Dropped menu to select recent posts, get immediate "no personalised data" error. Forums status becomes un-logged-in.

    If you quickly move from one page to another you will, in my experience, briefly see the Unable to whatever personal data - I think that just indicates that the updating of the top bar has been interrupted, not (in itself) that there is a problem with the log-in. In fact if you are logged out you won't get the message, since it doesn't know who you are to show any personal data.

    Not in this case. I wasn't quickly bouncing from page to page, the graphic error box where the little man icon should be was blue (logged in), and when I dropped the menu I got the usual couple of lines only that I see when I'm not logged in. This was definitely not the same sort of quirky I've been seeing since the switchover.

    I'm not sure if this has been mentioned yet. The store search won't let me unhide items I already own. When I search for an item, there are times when I want to see if I already own something similar. Also, the product information links in DIM work but all the product information is missing from the pages.

    Do you mean the readme links? That's a known error — the readme pages aren't static, they're dynamically created every time you link to one of them. The store update borked something in the build-the-readme process, so they aren't working for anyone right now. It's on the to-be-fixed list, unfortunately nowhere near the top; there are a lot of more urgent whack-a-mole candidates ahead of it in the queue.

  • As of 10:55 am, 11/10, the following issues have been noted and fixed:

    • Customer Orders have been re-sync'd and should now show all products that are owned in DIM, Product Library and DazCentral. If you still are not seeing the products you own, please reach out to customer support.

    How is the tech team deciding that things are "fixed?" Because this 100% has not been fixed for me. I have 20 items purchased on November 1st that are still missing from my product library and DIM cannot find them. When I contacted support about it I was just told "its been fixed already."

    I feel like I'm being gaslit now. It's been 9 days, this is so frustrating.

    If I can chip in here, I have the same problem. All the items I have bought are showing in my library page but some do not show download pages when I click them in the list. The link does go light blue but the righthand side of the page past the black line does not update, it stays blank or keeps showing the last item I clicked on. If I try right clicking the item and selecting open in new tab I get a page with a message like this:

    The server experienced an error: 1598098976185383115

    The number is different each time I try this, all the ones I have seen are 18 or 19 digits long.

  • I'm unable to purchase any items. I've repeated several times entering my data in the checkout page exactly as I always have for years. It keeps coming back saying there was a problem. In a quick look on this page at least, I don't see anyone with this problem.

    Maybe I'll log out, reboot, and try again...

    Same here. Products I purchased on 1 Nov before the store change still are not showing in my product library despite being told that they should be there.

    @melanie, After you load DIM, click on the Download Filters button at the top of the Ready to Download tab. That will open your settings directly to the Downloads options tab. There is a long list of filters, beginning with Application Tags, with checkboxes to the left. If an filter isn't selected, (no checkmark in the box,) DIM will not display products for those applications. For example, if you do not have or use Carrara, you could deselect the Carrara items in the list, and DIM won't show you any files that are for Carrara.

    Scroll down and make sure all of the Applications you use are selected, such as the DAZ Studio entries.  Keep scrolling and make sure the correct Platform Tag is selected, (Win/Mac, 32/64-bit,) and make sure the two Daz Connect Tags are selected. This last will make sure items that could be installed with Daz Connect will show up in the list.

    Now click on Accept if you made any changes.

    I don't now that this will help, but I've posted here on the outside chance that one of those filters being deselected could be causing you issues. It coudn't hurt to check.

    I logged out, rebooted, checked my card's account, went over and purchased something from Rendero, came back here and still can't get the system to accept my card. It just says it was unable to. I did notice that it keeps reverting to wanting me to give it a nickname. I never check the box for saving the card info, nor my name and address info. IOW, I'm doing everything the same as I have for years.

    I wonder why I'm the only one with this problem...

    Edit: I have to check the card's checkbox for saving the card info, then uncheck it again, in order to get rid of the requirement for a nickname. This has happened several times.

    Edit again: I'm going to hang around for awhile, but it's late and I think I'll have to give up shortly. I've taken a screenshot of the cart with the items I've chosen, and tried to get a full shot of the checkout page with its warning message. Hope that's enough for maybe submitting it tomorrow (???). Thanks!

    @NotAnArtist I have the same problem---now that I've run out of store credit, and Daz refuses to take my card, claiming, "There was a problem processing your credit card." What an amazing turn of events. No one would believe it.

    Well, I'm only surprised this is the first problem I've had after purchasing items every day for a month or more. I'm extremely lucky, because this has been an ominous sale. We have a great, active, community here, and the techs must be pulling the hair out of their heads with all these issues that keep popping up.
    Anyway, maybe you can get screenshots like I did. I'm not sure that's acceptable, but it's worth trying. Even if not, I won't complain, really. And remember, there's the December stuff coming up!!! I'm going to be flat broke!!!

    If Daz's PayPal page had a button for "Use Credit/Debit Card" like Renderosity does, then I'd have an option to make purchases (since I don't care for PayPal or Amazon), but as it now stands, the only solutions I can think of are to buy a debit gift card or screenshot my carts each day in the hope that Daz will grant me the honour of giving them my money again.

    Whew, too many people I've known over the years have had horrible problems with Paypal, so I avoid it. So I haven't a clue what you could do in your case here. I hope they see your post and help you resolve it.

    What issue? The only issue I know of that is outstanding is that it doesn't show up as being purchased on items that it wasn't purchased on even if it was purchased on the containing bundle.

    yeah currently if you purchuase a bundle license its not being showed in the item alone of the bundle, the others issues is which the PC codes used to work on licenses, but it not working anymore, like you could use the 6 discount in 18 to buy like 4 licenses at 20 then use the code to reduce to 16. it not working anymore, the last issue is which is no more possible to buy a license without buy the product, in the past you could buy the license without need to buy the product, in some cases could be more interesting buy the "license" before buy the product, like when a license is on sales and the product not and you want it, or cases like you don't want the full bundle and only few stuffs in the bundle then you would buy a bundle license and buy just what you want outside the bundle, those are some cases where buy a license first is better than the product, now you are obligated to buy the product before be able to buy the license.

  • I just duplicated an order that I made earlier because the store didn't clear my cart after the first order was processed.  And this time, after the second order was processed,  the items are still in the cart.  I submitted a ticket; but I am posting the issue here to suggest you to manually clear the cart if you see that the items remains in your cart after an order is processed.
