All your suggestions are great, but I think most should be done with expansion packs.
We can have a sleeve expansion set where you can attach the style you want, MAYBE using the geografting technology to make it seamless. I'm not sure if its possible with clothing, TheWizard will have to chime in one that. Anyway, the example I have is Valander's Renegade Shirts for Genesis which is a FANTASTIC set and I hope that he will make something similar for G2 figures.
Sorry got bogged down with fixing the materials zones so they would work with sub-D. While you wait here is a render of one of the Spandex morphs. :D
Keep them coming but everything I add slows me down ;)
Using TreadZ, etc. shouldn't be a problem. You should be able to conform the article to the suit instead of GF2 for added utility.
May make some more heel options but probably won't go crazy as the geometry doesn't lend itself to a lot.
I will attempt lenses/goggles but again the geometry may limit me because I laid out polygons for all the material zones.
There will be volume, loose clothing type morphs.
Probably not 'crunchy bits' again due to geometry, those are better as separate items.
Cheers!

spadex morph it's back!?!!? GREAT!!!!!
This is all very awesome I can't wait. Bookmark.
So for those who were wondering, "Yes, Virginia there is a male version!" However, I still have to fix some of the material zone because real women have curves and guys don't.
Cheers!
Guys do have curves - just in other places. ;)
well with that image, you have guaranteed a sale!!! Thank you
Enough carbs can give a guy curves...
So can hormone treatment, Gneiss, doesn't mean we'll be doing that either... :p
3Dwiz, keep them coming, this product will minimally end up on my wishlist when it comes out, but it's gonna get sold.
So, getting closer to being done, thanks for your patience. Working on the UV mapping to make it V4 catsuit compatible and I have a question I need some help with. Please look at the attached image where the numbers are. Right now that is just two material zones. I could change it so there are 6 different material zones plus two more on the back side. So just for the area there would be 8 material zones. I can do this on both the arms and legs but that would add a heck of a lot of material zones! However, it would make it more versatile. Just fair warning, I plane to make presets to turn on and off material zones but no way I can do ALL the possible combinations.
Question, keep it simple (i.e. the way it is) or maximize the number of different material zones?
Cheers!
Ohhhh..., that is all kinds of awesome!
LOVE IT!! As if the "Z" series doesn't impress me enough already! :cheese:
I would definitely maximize! Some people would say that too many is tedious, while I do agree sometimes, I also think that it's better to have more than realize you want an intermediary cutoff of coloring between two zones. For instance, the upper thighs that you have checkered in red and light blue; I'd split those in half because there have been times I've wanted to make "short-shorts" that were about at the line where those numbers are aligned on. Basically, half each one of those big leg mats. I love the panti/underwear zones, though! :)
Personally I would like as many mat zones as possible on a bodysuit, using the surface selection tool makes things like you are suggesting easy to use.
True, but I'd rather not bother with such constant modifications. Sometimes the subdivisions just never zone in the places I'd like them to.
Maximize!!
I will, without a doubt, buy this and I am looking forward to this.
I know *sigh* It is far to late to make this request, but i would love to see an additional seam right down the middle so that the outfit can be half and half.
Yeah... day late, buck short. Story of my life.
I an going to buy it and use the Hell out of it anyway. :)
Definitely maximize. More mat zones are always welcome
Please don't over do the zones. It will end up like the one that was sold for Genesis 01 which was so overwhelming I never used it. Perhaps set up two versions. One with max and one with a more simplified zone layout.
True, but I'd rather not bother with such constant modifications. Sometimes the subdivisions just never zone in the places I'd like them to.
It would be very difficult to please everyone with where the zones are.
QUIET YOU!! :P
Nah, I keed. :3
Actually, I was realizing that option after my last comment as was about to suggest that myself. The G2 figures have a couple arrangements of material zones like the default "Skins" and "Legacy Surfaces", so why not this suit as "Simple" and "Maximum"?
Man, Rammy. I have to say I use the one for Genesis all the time if for nothing else to fit clothes better.
I LOVE this version though as the mat zones make a LOT more sense to me especially around the pelvis and neck areas.
Also, having morphs that go along with the suit that are similar to the ones for the Genesis Supersuit would be awesome BUT I would request to break the morphs into symmetrical groups. i.e.: Rather than have enlarge arms, have enlarge right arm and enlarge left arm separate.
This provides more control for the end user.
Also, as long as the mat zones are sensibly labelled, I think the more the merrier. :)
That's a tough one, I do want the versatility but then again applying presets to a gazillion material zones are going to take longer to load (ala Supersuit)
Happy to hear that V4 catsuit compatibility is being worked on :)
Oh yes! Morphs! I forgot about those! And of course, basic clothing morphs (shirt sleeves, pants styles, footwear, etc.)! :-)
Actually a full and simple material zone models should be doable. I would combined smaller zones into larger ones similar to the V4 version.
I will make left and right morphs too.
Cheers!
Thanks Mr. Wizard! :-)
Nifty! Would that be done with UV switching?
Sorry but this comment calls for a Wolfman Jack quote:
"If you got the curves baby, I got the angles!" :P
Any news, Mr Wizard?
Nope, this would be separate objects.
Well making the UV map line up with the V4 version is tedious! I have the front almost done, now I have to align the front and back so the seams match which is tedious. Then I have to do the tedious work of trying to match up the hands, feet and cowl to the V4 maps. Anyway, here is a picture of a V4 texture (Shimuzu's) to wet your appetite. You will notice there are some still some areas to tweak, (nip slip anyone?). Did I mention that this part was tedious?
I have run into a problem where the autofit causes issues with the head section. So when you try to activate a morph, say V6, the eye lashes distort the part covering the eyes! Haven't found a good work around yet. I can minimize but haven't eliminated it completely. More experimentation to be done.
Also came up with a list of features. Trying finalize this so I don't get further scope creep. I just have major morphs listed, there will probably be a few more but everything else is about set.
Female & Male (this would be 8 separate objects)
1- Full material zones (left and right zones)
2 - Simple material zones
