Are the sales discounts also not working for anyone else?
Please be specific in a statement like this so we have a better idea of what you mean. You also posted 12 minutes into the new sale day and it takes a while for the store to settle down, especially during big sales. ATM, I'm seeing discounts working.
Sigh, just when I get comfortable with my decision not to buy Josephene 8 they release some of the most gorgeous figures ever using her morph! Damn you Daz!!
But shout out to 3D Sublime, Eva1 and PS3Designs: Jessie and Zaida are stunning creations, and the Gorgrous Morphs set is one of the most varied and interesting yet in my opinion, humble as my opinion may be :)
I also love the fact that they released a spy-themed bundle to go together with the Josephine theme bundle.
I hope this trend continues: male with a theme, female with same theme, additional bundles with same theme to go along with them.
Last year there were St.Patrick's Day items. Not drinking oriented, IIRC.
Same here on the tight budget. The "Buy X New Releases to get This Stuff" or Pro Bundle sales are promos I rarely go for. And that isn't going to change now that I'm one of those people not working due to COVID-19 & without paid time off.
Just want to say, have no idea who, when, or where it was reported or if Daz noticed it on their own, but 'Thank You!' for the white letters on the bluish/greenish background for today's page. I tried to read it before and my eyestrain was intense. So thanks.
Thanks DAZ Guys for offering Mika8 in the fast grabs today I've had her wishlisted and really wanted her for anime so greatful for you putting in the fast grabs . Thanks
mebbe the new dragon is waiting for the big march madness finale?
I thought the same thing, but when I checked, the only SPD item I saw from last year was this - https://www.daz3d.com/saint-patricks-day-set and it does include a mug of beer. I went back and checked all the daily ads and the last time DAZ seems to have run any kind of specific St. Patrick's promotion was way back in 2011. Seems strange as it would be a great excuse for a new leprechaun to replace the old K4 based one, but then again, it could break the flow of March Madness and how long has it been since there was a male fairy released? A bunch of the other companies have run SPD promotions though, and Renderosity had a rather nice one this year.
Just to flag up about the 50% don't stop shopping because of conoravirus code "stack up" code to those interested, the Genesis 8 Core Character Pro bundles that are in today's main banner as Related Madness can be used with the "stock up" code, e.g if you're a PC member and select three of the pro bundles to use the code on it will be down to a total cart price $66.13...

used the stackem on furries for micah and melody
...we need a new cat before yet another dragon. There's been like five so far including the Crystal Dragon and that "Sub Dragon" thingie while we still are stuck with the 15 year old Mil Cat, with dForce fur as the only difference,
On the flip side, the one thing that you can be sure of with DAZ is all of those bundles will eventually be offered for free or extremely cheap fairly often, so I prefer to use store-wide coupons like this on PA products that are already on sale. So, in this case, that meant Fluidos 2 for just $26.99 plus two DZ Fire products I'd been wanting for a while. :)
is just March Sadness for me
Australian dollar and my retirement moneys dwindling I just sit at home with my 7 rolls of dunny paper and slowly render what I already have, stopped buying the 70% off things even
I think the truth is that we all already have enough content to keep us busy creating scenes and animations for the rest of our lifetime.
It's hard to resist the temptation of shiny new things every day, though, isn't it?
yeah my content overfloweth like the trolleys at the shops some push
takes up less room
...two points (sort of related) that I have found rather frustrating. The first first is when you click on a banner sale even though it says it's sorted by "New Arrivals" but several pages of older products begin to appear mixed in with the newer ones (like Gen3/Gen4 as well as RDNA items).. When you click on "sort by "New Arrivals" again to get a proper top done sort, it resets back to page one and you have to go slogging through all the pages all over again. This leads me to my second point: why isn't there a box to enter a page number in and immediately go to it (this used to exist) . It would save time having to page through stuff you've already seen after having to go back to page one (as mentioned in the previous instance) of being able to pass over items you are not interested in (such as for example pages and pages of dForce clothing and G8 items)..
I have kind of lost hope for any kind of optimization for the shop or filters to occur.
I of course cannot say if Daz will do something about it or not but my hope for it is not there anymore.
Regarding the page skip, the answer to that is easy.
You can modify the link directly. Let's say you have this: https://www.daz3d.com/shop#p=10&filter_new=0&order=popular^1&filtered=1 . Just modify the number after p= and you skip to the desired page.
..thanks just wanted to get past all the G8/dForce stuff
The current rather terrible exhange rate has limited me too. It's basically like having a plus 50% charge on every order, which does make deals much less tempting..
I keep wanting there to be really basic things like go to a sale page and be able to filter by "hair" or "clothing" or "texture packs". Or even by a price range, or several other things it seems every other store on the planet has but here.
What makes it even weirder is that there are category pages, but no way of filtering by those categories.
....really becoming a bit frustrated with the Stick up Sale. I have three items in the cart, all from the selected list, but keep getting the "not valid" error when I put in the code. (and I took my time hand entering it)
The items I have are:
Circulus Pacis: (4.99$)
Evil Queen Set for G2F (7,54$), but for some reason is shows up as 6.28$ when I add the third item which is:
Gothy Punk for Teen Raven 8 (9.22$) but also shows with a lower price of 7.69$
So some kind of unknown pricing adjustment is making one of these tow (or both) trigger the invalid error
The frustration comes for about 20 min of dealing with this and only about 30 min to go before Daz changes prices at 00:00. as entering a support ticket would be moot.
ETA:
OK apparently PC+ items are invalid, however not only does it not specify in the "fine print" on the banner. There are also numerous PC+ products on the Selected Items page for the coupon.
All the banner "fine print" said was:
I'm not the only one to run afoul of this as on the 2020: There's Always Another Sale thread, others mentioned they ran into the same issue, and it was finally mentioned that PC+ items were not valid..
https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/5448051/#Comment_5448051
Really misleading as like I mentioned, PC+ items appear on the pages relating to the coupon deal (including Circulus Pacis and the Mini Dumper Truck that I replaced it former with).
I did manage to swap the offending PC+ item out and pick something else near in price (which surprisingly I actually can use) just in the nick of time (3 min to spare).
Sad that I wasted a fair part of my evening with this that I could have used working on character design.
I totally agreed! I submitted a ticket about just that: filtering by category. I encourage you to do the same. Maybe if enough people say something about it they will start implementing. Especially since it shouldn't be that hard.
Dragon 8
I'm still waiting for a Quarantine Madness offer...
yeah ... how many DAZ customers out of work?
No money to buy expensive stuff like 3D
Well, there are those with temp jobs, who are increasingly becoming people with no-jobs. And depending on the country you live in, even a contract might not mean much when your employer is going out of business due to some lockdown.
A discount on the entire store would be welcome.
