I use Facebook all the time, and I've never seen a coupon.

Return of Day One PC+ $2.20 items was great fun! Picked up a few things I missed first time around, and the price came down a bit with 2+ items in cart.

Could we please have a thread here to repost DAZ facebook coupons.... many people don't use facebook.

and the codes are there to reward those who do - it's a quid pro quo. (And I don't use Facebook either, so I miss the codes too.)

I don't get it though. Why is Daz rewarding people who use facebook? Do they have a deal or something. I've never seen a coupon for the people on their forum but they are rewarding people who use another application that has nothing to do with the 3d world?

I would think it's to get more traffic to the Facebook page to increase thelikelihood of new users falling into their web.

They have them on Instagram too. I got one on a separate account I have that is not related at all to digital art or 3D graphics. It's an account that follows mostly beauty and health. But I realize now I had put in (LOL autocorrect had just changed that to Putin!) anyway, I had used the hashtag #model but relating to real life fashion models, so the algorithm probably picked that up. I think they really are targeting new users because I don't get them on my main account that already follows Daz.

they're not that great. Buy 100 get 20% off, or $50 get 20% off. Way better deals right here on site.

I'm just the opposite. I'm seeing some on my FaceBook account but not on Instagram. I wonder if the Instagram coupons are the same as the ones I get in my Facebook account ?

...I do use FB as one of my gaming groups uses it to post events. However I also use an advert blocker to avoid "clutter" from other adverts posing as posts to my page which is likely why I don't see these.  When I go to the Daz page I don't see the offers there either.

They probably put a filter to NOT give the coupon to anyone already following them. I bet if you unfollow and put interests like 3D, digital art, modeling, etc... you'll start getting them.

I get the coupon on my facebook sometimes and I've used it, it's usually an extra 20% off.

...I never clicked "follow" I just go there from time to time otherwise I'd get email reminders of when a new post is added.

I follow them, and I don't get notifications for their posts. Maybe they just don't like me. LOL.

I see them all the time... endlessly...  I have been here enough that i generally don't need an extra coupon and really don't need back catalog stuff so I never end using them but yes they do appear now and then.

You can opt out of that.

Well, the mystery of that "upcoming bundle" that we've been getting hints about for the last day or two is now solved.

Does it say something awful that I have everything that's in it except the four new items?

Mind you, there is some beautiful stuff in that bundle. But still...

ETA: It those even are new items. They could just be items I didn't buy.

I doubt it. This is not a new Pro Bundle, unless you see something other than the Staff Pick bundle.

That's my understanding, as well.  That other offer was for  EXTRA 20% OFF* our next Character Pro Bundle Release

I already own a lot of it too

looks a decent deal for those who don't

    ......113$ even with the coupon,.ouch.

Yaiks! That is such an expensive bundle! Who can afford that? not me, for sure.

  • WendyLuvsCatzWendyLuvsCatz Posts: 40,014

yeah a lot but a lot less than full price

would appeal to newbies without much content wanting a good start

has all you need for a few fantasy scenes

I figure not everything is aimed at me cheeky

...true when it's broken down, but even when I started in this, I could't afford that much for one purchase . I think the most I ever spent at one time here was 71$ for Hexagon, and that was with a 50% discount (years before it was designated as  PC item).

It's surprising they're not bothering with coupons for people who own most or part out the bundle.
  • I have been passing on any promos that require Newly/Still/Related Mad purchases because most of the Mad stuff, so far, doesn't interest me--wrong genre/s, dForce, 90% of G8--and not buying (read, "mostly not buying") anything not already on my wishlist and currently on sale.

But like some others, I have gotten some good deals on older stuff in my wishlist.

Well they are offering the "build your own" option where you get 4 or more items at effectively 81% off - for me (because I own so much of the bundle) that works out at about 1/3 of the bundle price. Disadvantage is that they don't count as a "key" item like the bundle does.

It seems like once again us loyal customer who already buy a lot of content are being penalized. The new Staff Pick Epic Fantasy Bundle is the only "key" item and I no longer get the extra 10% for owning Jonathan 8 Pro Bumdle.

Am I going to spend $100 to buy a bundle when I already own 3/4 of the items just to get the "key" discount ? NOT A CHANCE !!!  Instead I I'm not going to buy as much in the March Madness sale. Good thinking DAZ; you are saving me money

it would be true madness if the dragon 4 came out.  whats the hold up?

is one of those new coming pro bundles a dragon?

And completely and utterly worthless for those who already have most or all of it.  I don't mind that so much, but the jerk move on DAZ's part was to also make the Staff Picks bundle the only key item for the day.

Does a Dragon count as a character?  I wouldn't think so and none of the previous DAZ Dragon's have ever been refered to that way.  For all we know, though, Dragon 4 will be Victoria 8 with a green paint job and a tail stuck on her butt.

Another item has been added as a potential key.

IIRC, the last time they did that, the percentage discount offered was so below par what the actual bundle pricing reflected that it was a joke.  Besides, if what we've already seen happen with the previous staff pick bundles follows with this one, it'll be available for a considerably higher discount in just a few months.
