Oh...and pay no attention to that guy behind the curtain...(A quote from Oz himself.)
:-/
The Beard on M4 (guy getting kicked two ways to sunday up front is from most-digital-creations.com. Or was there a certain item we had to use?The M4 beard is by Adam Thwaites, which is the main requirement: one Freebie by a particular creator, in this case, it's Adam Thwaites of Most Digital Creations.
Correct.
:-)
I don't remember dear, if I ever congratulated you on your new name, and to say I sure hope you guys had fun on your honeymoon.
Thanks for keeping the page going. It comes in real handy when reviewing the entries. So many.
:-)
Note to JesterVII
As a courtesy to your fellow forum users you need to be more clear with the links you post.
For an example Adam at most-digital-creations.com has 46 pages of free stuff for DAZ-Poser users.
The link you posted was for his ad at Renderosity.com, not his site.
What is worse, the link at Rendo is to Adam's front page not the page the beard is on.
I found the beard near the bottom of page 29.
http://www.most-digital-creations.com/free_poser_poses_textures_morphs_props_29.htm - beard 17 down
So please, in the future, be kind to your fellow DAZ-fiends and have a nice day!
This is true. The idea is to get as close a link to the item as possible, or write in any info you can to get us there...lol. Adam's site is big! Nice stuff there too.
:-)
Thank you. As you can see I still have a lot to learn about posting taking all the tips I can get...lol Cheers!!!!

Thanks alot, I'm not a big fan of comics either but my husband said I should enter. But thanks again :-)
My thanks to your husband dear, he is right! Welcome.
:-)
Very nice entry Proxima. Welcome to the challenge. This month is starting to become very interesting. In the way that all the entries have a unique style in the way they were each done. These challenges just keep gettin better and better.
:-)
Round Two....LOL

Tried to put the links in that would go right to the download this time.
Ah.. few days and so many great renders :)
I am always astonished, when someone makes render with so many figures, and can pull it off ;)
Another nice fight scene! Well lit night scene, too!

Dana
Silly question which I am sure has been answered some where else....But is there a render engine out there that gives that pro-hand drawn comic look?
Jester I have sent you a PM. Lonnie
You are good to go TG. Your render qualifies. Nice story line, definitately get the impression that Tommie is someone that is important to Kageto. Check your PMs for your entry prize.
Lonnie
Never a silly question has there been.
The answer your question is maybe! It all depends. There could be. SmithMicro Software, Poser developers, have a suite of software for the comic graphics artist.
Go here:

Anybody else have suggestions for the Jester
Lonnie
You have a quailfying render. Jester. Thank you.
Okay Guys let's see some Comic Life images! It is a blast to play with. It is free for thirty days and it just might get you that winning image. Comic Life has been very generous with prizes and I would like to see some images using this software.
Pretty please?!!!!! :)
Its free you say?....Hmmmm Well seeing as I am currently only working on the weekends and there is almost 20 days left till this ends. Time to DL a new programs and or two and start making a Comic.

LonnieThanks. And just call me Tramp. Tramp Graphics is simply my DBA for freelancing.
As for Tommie and Kageto, if you've seen the art in my DeviantArt gallery, that should give you a good clue.
Tramp it is then!
Comic Life has no Linux version. Haven't yet decided whether it is worth trying it under Wine or not.
Kendall
As Adam Thwaites has made so many freebies I thought I try and make one entry with only his stuff and this is it.
I want it to be obvious that it is not drawn by hand.
I played around in Shader Mixer trying to make a Cell Shader and it turned out OK so I used it here.
I will try to put the shader up for download somewhere but I need to tide it up some first ;-)

So, of course this is the first one I volunteered to judge... Why couldn't I have volunteered to judge an "easy" one, like ... Oh, right. There are no "easy" ones any more.

Nice little story section. Some team. :smirk:
You'll have to ask the judges and Music2u4u about the number of freebies, though. I think if all that stuff came with DS4.5, it probably counts as one freebie, much like other things that are part of a bundle, the bundle is the freebie. But that's about all I want to say on the subject...my interpretation of rules has been a source of...shall we say...hot dissertation?
Dana
Honestly I'm not too sure about the bundle rules myself....Again still new at this. But if all the stuff from the bundle counts as one then I will change the entry to a NAE with no hard feelings.
Side note now that I have comic life the above mentioned team is getting reworked and I am attempting to make a short comic. So far Jester VII and Doc are the only two personalities I got really worked out.

You count unique download links. That is why you should tell where on a page a specific link is located if there are more then one link in a page. The same way to count goes for paid items. So the DS4.5 is one link.
Thanks for the comment Dana!
