    Both were reported smiley

all these new items from the last two weeks have disappeared from my wishlist.

Edit to Add: Fixed now but I still have to go back and recreate my wishlist. Grrr...

The browser addon has a wishlist restore feature for this exact situation. You can restore yesterday night's wishlist with a few clicks.

Although I have now set it up, unfortunately I didn't have my DAZ Deals addon set up sufficiently to be able to use this feature

Was it ever determined (or resolved) whther or not purchases madee with store credit count toward getting the weekly bonus coupons?

Although customer support got back to me and the situation got resolved, it was never made clear why I did not get the coupons in the first place (using only store credits).

Same here. Also, resolving it meant getting the coupon to apply to past orders, which is not the best solution because I probably would have bought more had I gotten the coupon to start off with.

Nice - again all on while a lot of the world sleeps. Could some of these flash sales at least be repeated earlier/or later for those of us in other time zones.

Posting in the forums will likely not be seen by Daz if that is your objective.

Fine perhaps I will just stop spending all together. Funny how problems can be passed on but not grievances

They could set up a sticky thread where people could communicate with DAZ.

If you want to send the message to DAZ though, they have a contact channel for that? Posting about sales issues here is just so that mods can pass along details in batches or report problems themselves to be fixed, mods aren't empowered the make changes to company policy.

I never thought they were but they could pass on concerns from customers.

Seems to me, the mods pass on problems with the store so the tech elves can work their magic to fix it. I doubt the channel provided to mods gives them any more or better access to decision makers than you or I have using the trouble ticket system.

  • With revenue in mind, how many people are working for both sales and tech support? If it's only a couple of people, then a backlog will certainly occur and tickets can get unanswered for a period of time. There isn't anything on the website that identifies the people or team behind this prestigious 3D website.

You can see a partial list of employees when you look at the About screen within the Daz Studio help menu. I think it's a partial list. I believe some employees "work from home," like Jack Tomalin, who manages the PC. (At least I hope he's paid! All the work he does for us…!) Jack is in the UK, if I remember right.

Its just easier for me to not spend at all I'm sure all the PA's will appreciate that.

The store seems to acting up. But the flash sales just switched over. I had trouble getting Faveral's MICK 2 at the discounted price. I had to refresh the cart a number of times. When I tried to pay using store credit, it told me that method wasn't available, and that's when I notice I'd lost the discount and my coupon code.

@Wendy_Carrara, was that with the previous flash sale, (with Luthbel, Mec4D, etc.) or with the current one, (with Faveral, Marforno and Pretty 3D)?

Yes it was but PayPal showed the discount too but my confirmation email was full price so all I can really do is just return it as have no real proof

Good idea maybe if everyone outside the time zone put in a ticket I'm sure Daz staff would appreciate that.

Honestly I made a comment and get jumped on by a certain section of the forums; as I said its just easier to save my money.

I contacted PayPal too and told them it was not an issue with the seller as a flash sale but what they displayed to me as a buyer, PayPal that is so hopefully can be resolved as if I submit something and the price changes it should be just invalid once I have agreed to a certain price on the PayPal not charged more as this could happen with anything anywhere

I was able to click back but not to PayPal

If you haven't put in the ticket yet, I recommend you do so with those screenshots, and ask for a refund of the difference to your paypal account. And also state if a refund of the difference isn't possible, that you'll need to return the purchase, because you simply can't afford the item at full price. (I suspect the screenshots will be sufficient, though, and that CS will do right by you.)

Also, mark the ticket urgent, and in the Subject line, mention you were already short of money and need the refund asap. (In your own words, of course.) Hopefully that will get the refund faster. (Fingers crossed.)

Good idea. Paypal should have the code in place to lock in the price you agree to when you hit the confirm button. Seems like the code is not very good if can change the price of the invoice after you've hit the confirm button. Even a bit of code to alert you to the change and ask if you want to continue would be a big improvement.

Yes in the past it showed the altered price and I could cancel and return to seller this time it didn’t

never happened before but if going to in future I am going to be very wary about flash sales and when I see them as if I don’t know how long they have been up it’s no longer safe

The mods are VOLUNTEERS - and they have a ton of work on their hands keeping the forum running smoothly, reporting errors, answering questions when they can, etc. It's unfair to expect them to then also pass on everyone's individual grievances when there is a system already set up just for that.

I think (!) nobody expects the mods to do that job... But people might expect some DAZ employee checking the forum or at least threads called "Report sales errors here" for reports of.. well, sales errors...

And yes, a stickied thread to contact DAZ directly without any mods involved would be appreciated. And useful.

Not going to happen.   Daz staff do not have time to watch forums on a reliably regular basis.   That is why we have a customer service team with a help ticket system.

The Tech guys do visit the DS forum sometimes, as that is where they post most of the update threads.

Not a sale error, just a general error: https://www.daz3d.com/boho-hair-for-genesis-3-and-8-females is a DO, but doesn't have the usual 30% DO discount.
