A medical website that I am using is broken. I tried to update some information but the website endded my session. I clicked "save", not "log out." *sigh*
Very expensive cookies which were 7 dollars for 3 cookies.
Outside inhaling the sweet scent of soring and carbon monixide
Why did I pay 7 dollars for three cookies? I hope they are real good cookies.
Cookie angst.
It is getting overridden by where is my ride angst.
Wheee..., breaking my pattern. No Tuesday uptown lunch tomorrow
. Instead, I'm ordering out and picking up liver & onions tonight. Mmmmmm, yum! No, need to make a micro-adventure uptown tomorrow for normal Tuesday chores because there are no prescriptions ready, I don't have enough trash to take to the transfer station, I have all the groceries I need for the rest of the week, and not yet enough laundry to warrant a trip. So, instead it's liver & onions for the next four days from the place that seems to think restaurant meals should be big enough to cover large pizza sized plates. Yay! I think.
My cholesterol needs pumping up. I haven't had liver & onions for at least 4 months.
My ride finally showed up and I am going home!
Woes recorded burdies warbling in the yard. But cant attach mo4
What fir dinner?
Pondering.
Mebbe pepper steak with mash taters
Just to grant KK's wish for "New Blood" Virginia has won its first ever National Championship. And with that March Madness is over (except for maybe a little extra madness in Charlottesvile tonight).
...yeah, but still the ACC which is the "SEC" of college basketball.
Texas Tech was in "rarified air" having never making it past the Elite Eight before (last year), mostly going out in the Sweet Sixteen or round of 32. Virginia's made it to the Final Four three times. the Red Raiders only once (this year).
That qualified Texas tech to be the "underdog" for me to pull for.
Is March madness over?
For this year, though there may be lingering after effects, which can be offset by rendering as much as you can
time for a cuppa tea
Non-complaint: Finally an understandable explanation of what a blackhole might look like. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zUyH3XhpLTo

Particularly relevant because of tomorrow's reveal of the first radio-photograph of the supermassive blackhole at the center of our galaxy. https://www.nsf.gov/news/special_reports/blackholes/
On a cold and rainy night
One Mister Miller had a rare flight
Glen was up there boppin' a rhythm
Then the engine stopped to listen with him play that beat, oh, oh
Suddenly he heard this sound
This melody that keeps spinning 'round and 'round
Now, he resides and plays trombone
In the mystic unknown zone
I do not see any banners for March madness any more. Perhaps March Madness is over.
Well, the newsletters over the weekend said it was the last weekend of March Madness, I think. After all, it's already Apri 9th.
Dana
...fascinating.
But, soft! What light through yonder window breaks? I dunno.
doh missed buyung noggins scorpian during the march madness
Loooooo cyyyyyyyy
remember the episode she thought she lost her wedding ring in the bbq?
all ricky's fault.
ethel was a good friend, hope lucy appreciated her
Somewhat Disappointed: The image of the black hole revealed today was not that of the one in the center of our galaxy, but the even much larger one in the center of Galaxy M87, relatively "nearby" but farther than the Andromeda Galaxy. And yeah, it looks like what they predicted, so that's good.
But as far as "exciting", then meh, it leaves something to be desired.
https://www.nytimes.com/2019/04/10/science/black-hole-picture.html
I understand the limitations of our instruments and the fuzziness is explainable and satisfactory to the scientists but I really wanted to see a picture of an evil big red robot falling into the hole.
Apparently they're still working on the image of the blackhole in the center of our galaxy. So, stay tuned.
Meh, if you've seen one black hole youve seen them all.
Black holes just suck up all the energy.
Non-complaint: A little spinning music for a blackhole day. "Asturias" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K773rBQ2MVY from the "Suite Española" by composer: Isaac Albeniz: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isaac_Alb%C3%A9niz
More spinning music: "Omphale's Spinning Wheel" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-xXPVmk_Ok one of the four symphonic poems by Saint-Saëns The story behind the poem is the story of Hercules being punished and forced by Queen Omphale to dress as a woman and spin thread on a spinning wheel. The cadence of the music mimics the rhythmic pumping of the wheel's pedal. Recognizable hesitatingly from the beginning but as Hercules finally gets over his shame and begins to understand the wheel and get into his task, he really starts to shine at the part beginning at 3:21 through 5:00. He finally finishes his task and falls asleep at the end.
Composer: Camile Saint-Saëns https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camille_Saint-Sa%C3%ABns
Note: We people of the elder persuasion may remember seeing if not playing with antique spinning wheels or foot pumped Singer sewing machines and instantly recognize the sound of a manually pumped wheel. I even remember working with a hand pumped blacksmith's forge that had a heavy metal fan that blew air through the coals to heat the iron pieces being worked on. The cadence and technique of manually pumped wheels is just one of those things that you'll never forget once you grok how to control them.
I just found out I recently got a Josh character without knowing it. There is one in the Landon 8 pro bundle.
and is a Soundgarden song
