Did another test with just the fur shader on the super suit.

When I save, I cannot reload.

Any one else able to use a fur shader, save, and then open that file?

If I even put the shader on a primative in an empty scene, that file will not open.

So all you need to do to test is add a sphere primative add the fur shader (render and it works), than save the scene. close the scene. Reopen and see if you get an error.

    I need help!
I love the pictures Daz shows with the supersuit...
So I bought the Supersuit Pro Suite and that was a lot of downloads...
Installing took me an hour i think... and then I want to use it...
But there is some much to choose from, most things don't work at once so after trying and trying i did found the supersuit, got it on a genesis and started with some dial's... wow, so strange, everything is distorted... There is just to much to choose from in the library...

Isn't there a good manual on how to use the Supersuit Pro Suite with all of the contents?

Please Daz, where can I find help in using the suit????

    Regards,

    Ron

    1) the fur shaders do give trouble in DS 4.0.3x. This is fixed in DS 4.5. If you are using 4.0.3x then replace the fur before saving. You can do this by using the surface tool and right clicking on any surface that is fur and selecting all with the same shader. Pick anything else and save, you can reverse this process when you reload it.

    2) I will be releasing my tutorial video series next week. There are 10 short videos to help you out.

    3) I do plan on releasing my DC and Marvel characters as freebies... Stay tuned

I have just looked at the supersuit, and it looks great! ...and all for $20?

Can someone explain all the other bundles, as I might be missing something. I will ignore all the items(bundles) that are not related to the super suit, i.e. sci-fi bundle, dark places bundle, firearms pack etc, (actually nothing to do with supersuit?), ‘props’, but the items that are for the actual supersuit; do they add any functionality to the basic $20 supersuit, or are they simply presets? (which can obviously be usefull if you don’t want to adjust all the settings yourself!), but I assume that the addons do actually give you additional supersuit textures, is that the case?

I assume the pro bundle and suite may be great for some one starting out who doesn’t already have a lot of the older items that are in it, but I would like to know that if I buy (once the store has settled down!) the basic supersuit, do I get all the functionality shown in the demo video on that products page?

    Thanks.

    Thanks,

I suspected as much. I want to hold off on upgrading (still want to be able to use reality). Just wanted to make sure it wasn't my problem. I have had some problems with genesis in carrara - mostly because I have SO many Genesis morphs etc. and I have not installed all of the fixes and what not for clothing etc.

The super suit includes the suit and a bunch of presets and materials

The bundles give you additional presets for morphs, materials etc plus some extra shaders (I think) about 20 presets for each bundle.

I think you can probably do most things yourself if you just get the super suit. But getting the bundles gives you instant access to settings that would take you hours to do yourself - (I imagine about an hour or two for each outfit - after spending probably 5 - 10 hours figuring out how it all works) the super suit has A LOT of material zones and a LOT of morphs to go through.

Sort of like poses - you CAN do any of the poses yourself... but presets can get you most of the way very quickly.

I got the pro bundle. thirty bucks extra for about 80 different outfits is not bad. And every outfit I have checked out so far is high quality. As good or better than most of the clothing I have bought at daz. Imagine 80 daz outfits for 60 bucks, and an infinite number of possibilities...

Is there a way to select more than one area on the suit, or do you have to select each bit seperately?

Yes, Ctrl click to select , tap it again to deselect.

I see heels… so were all the issues with the “pump” option ironed out then or is what I’m seeing is separate pair of heels with the same shader applied to make it match?

I was wondering that myself. I'm still downloading Supersuit items, in between doing things around the house before I go to work, so I haven't had a chance to delve into the morphs. I think it's going to be an interesting (and fun!) adventure.

Hmm, I think I can live with your suggestion about the fur shaders. I'm not sure I want to upgrade yet to 4.5; will the issue with plug-ins be fixed in the near future? If the fur shaders are the only Supersuit-related issue in 4.0, then I'll wait to upgrade Studio until I can use GenX in it.

I am loving the flexibility of the suit, but I'm wondering if anyone has a key to the material zones. It would be so much easier to customize if we knew piece Back A and Hip C were without tweaking the color and scanning the suit to find it. I am considering making a Key image but would rather not if one already exists.

If you click on a MAT piece and hover your mouse over it, it will tell you what piece it is.

When I try to use that method, I always get the Genesis item I'm hovering over rather than the supersuit. The popups also appear to show the Nodes rather than the material zone.

When the base suit is loaded, the general zones (neck, back, chest, etc) are marked by colors. I'm going to start working with that and apply the letters to each section to make a quick reference.

That works quite well. Funny how using the right tool makes all of the difference. Thanks. :red:

The heels you are seeing are probably from beta testing. The supersuit Boots, Belt and Cape will be released from Platinum club shortly

These videos are "first draft" quality from an early version of the suit. I am currently redoing them to bring them up to date.

It struck me, however, that you might benefit more from seeing them than not so here you go. Keep in mind that the basic prionciples are solid, but some of the details are off.

To help you figure out the suit here are 9 videos that will get you started.

One of the renders posted earlier made me realize that it might be nice to have some sort of skirt with the kind of customization the Supersuit has. Something that could be morphed from tiny Supergirl-esque minis to long, flowing ones (I'm thinking of the Scarlet Witch, when George Perez was doing the Avengers). The boots, belt & cape are a good start, but there's probably a few other superhero wardrobe staples that the Supersuit can't do; I'll be curious to see what else is in the works.

Heatherlee, -willowfan-, chiefarchon, Cagnazzo82, JohnDelaquiox, reavuson22, MrPoser, namrettek, really nice renders!!

Hopefully I didn't forget anyone. I feel bad for not commenting on each of them, but I'm swamped with a lot of stuff and getting ready to go out as well, so please take this as a big WOW!! Love each and every one!!

Randy, thanks for doing those videos and posting them - even though they're not the final versions, they;re great and will be very helpful!

A question for someone from Daz - when are the sale prices on the suit and bundles ending? The store isn't showing sale end dates, and it wasn't in the newsletter, as is being done with other items

    Thanks!

Certainly one of the best products ever to hit the store.

Congratulations DAZ on an awesome product.

I get to play too! I love the shader on the arms in this. The preset is Ninja Fighter-Bolero. The cape is from the Songstress outfit. No postwork.

Wow... I love what you've done with the suit.

The Supersuit can be a little stubborn at times, when it comes to fitting to a posed figure. So either i'll have to learn how to use it better or they will have to do some tweaking. I still love it to pieces though.

Right now the store has the Supersuit Pro Suite for $95.17, but when I put it in my cart it tells me $118.97. I want to purchase it, but not pay $23.80 more than what the store has it priced for.

Has anyone tried any of the Supersuit shaders on other objects yet? If so, how do you like them? I'm on the fence about buying the Pro set and it would be mostly to get a ton of shader presets for all renders, so I am wondering if they operated just like any other shader presets. Render posts would be nice if possible, too, thanks.

Just messing around could only afford the base so thought I would mess with the morphs. I was hesitant to buy the suit as I have bought all the body suits and never used any of them so thought do I really need another, but real glad a bought this one.

That looks amazing Sal UK... I've been I'm a quandary about buying it too and was thinking of just getting base myself but wondered how much I'd actually be able to achieve with it.. You've answered my question. It looks amazing! Is this all achieved with just the base suits morphs and mats?!
