These videos are "first draft" quality from an early version of the suit. I am currently redoing them to bring them up to date.

It struck me, however, that you might benefit more from seeing them than not so here you go. Keep in mind that the basic prionciples are solid, but some of the details are off.

To help you figure out the suit here are 9 videos that will get you started.

What I miss is a TEXTURE TEMPLATE. It's great that all the Mat-Zones can manipiulated with shaders and textures, but what, when I would like to add a logo on the suit, that goes over different Mat-Zones? :ohh:

I was wondering about this too. It'd be a great use of the Layer Image Editor to have logos and symbols available. Another idea if to have geografted chest plates that offer a beveled region on which to add the logos. Perhaps a future product idea...?

    check my post here

for a cool trick on how to do logos

    Most excellent! Thanks, Rand!

Wow, just spent hours playing with the new Suit. If you get down to hand creating a new character all those seams with just the lil bitty bits really take lots of time to edit. It's still LOADS of fun. I'm only half done in about three hours.

Is there uv templates available for the basic suit? or even the super suit?

Nope but you could get close to that shape with the G-Suit. You would need a custom texture for the edge seams. It was made for Genesis also but was designed to only work fully on some of the HUMAN shapes. It's easy to break with morphs like Bodybuilder :bug:

Are we allowed to save our suit shape presets and give it to somebody else?

I don't see why you couldn't, after all that's just like sharing a character preset.

I'm just curious, fur in these presets is real procedural hair/fur or displaced simulation?

That's OK. I worked out what I needed to know. The morphs look a bit 'hard edged'. I was hoping for something softer and more like ordinary cloth.

But I'm sure I'll find plenty do do with it. Once I've got my head round 300 texture zones.

Plarson, resize your image or it's going to be removed. No larger than 800 X 800 pixels!

    Hi

Got the suit (pro bundle) and love the possibilities.

One thing I cannot find.... in the supersuit bundle images some of the suits show heels on the boots (freedom and fury images).I assume its a morph hidden somewhere but I cannot find a morph or prop. I may be being stupid, can someone tell me where it is?

    Thanks in advance

    IC

The heels are not included, but apparantly there will be a pack with heels, and capes etc on Daz later.

What an incredible work of art that suit is... I almost didn't get it. But I've started watching Black Panther: The animated series, and it made me GLAD that this suit came out with it did.

    Bravo Daz!

flashfire - your picture is awesome. maybe it could need a few shadows. But the idea is brilliant.

  • edited December 1969

RCT_Spanky... you are absolutely correct... I kept messing with the shadows and could not get what I wanted... but I had some ideas while at the grocery store (lord knows what food I brought home) i will give them a whirl or I will have to do some post magic... hopefully no one will mind if I re-post the pic once it is spruced up...

Thanks a lot:). I am more interested in the UV for the basic suit. I don't think they are the same..

Version 2 with shadows and some fixes on the wing armor... shadow placement was tricky because I didn't want major shadows on the wings... render time was over an hour (my system usually gives me a render in 20 or less)... thoughts and suggestions are welcome.. I am still learning... and hopefully can say that until the day I die, lol

This makes it official... I am a lunatic... up at 530 am so I can fix dingy looking wings... I am pulling this image... I will replace as soon as the new render is done hopefully before I have to go to work...
render did not even come close to finishing before I had to come earn my living... lol... will do a new post tonight...

    Hey JorgeMR,

I painted it in with photoshop.

    I used some of Ron's brushes - http://www.daz3d.com/shop/rons-detail-smoke

and for the sparks - http://www.daz3d.com/shop/rons-particles

I have almost all of his brushes. They are great quality.

If you don't want to paint in smoke you can also use -

    http://www.daz3d.com/shop/atmospheric-effects-cameras-for-daz-studio

I often use the effects camera for depth so that I can paint smoke in layers.
