For Xmas my wife got me a new iPad... apparently now all the iPads can use the Apple Pencil... so finally after all these years of only using an iPad to write with, now I can actually draw on it...

I finished setting it up this afternoon and downloaded Autodesk’s SketchBook... very cool... I know it’s just a stupid little cartoon drawing, but I’m still figuring out how to hold the pencil on a touchscreen... for me it feels way more intuitive than a drawing tablet... and no cable.

I’m actually having fun with this...

    Cool!

    Dana

    Thanks!

I just realized a flaw in single pencil ownership though... It works on my daughters iPads too... and one of them keeps borrowing it.

I cant blame her, SketchBook is fun...

I was just looking for some new shurikens on that all encompassing shopping website named after a South American river... I came across this...

$20...? I was wondering if it’s real or a prop... apparently it is real (not heat treated though)... I’m glad they added the warning because once I found out it wasn’t heat treated and it’s a choking hazard, I immediately decided not to get it for my niece-in-law for her first birthday.

Complaint it is raining outside.  Non complaint I have a package on the front porch.  Complaint I have to go outside to get it and complaint; it is raining outside.

It’s raining here too... no packages outside though...

Non-Complaint... if it was colder, this would have been around two feet of snow... so I don’t mind getting this wetness at all.

PS... I see the package was you TV... good luck with it and enjoy!

    ...raining here as well.

My roommate choose now to make phone calls.  It is almost 8 pm and I want to watch Netflix or something but she wants to talk on the phone.  I am also trying to see if my CBS access still works.  I am not sure why my roommate wants to make phone calls to who knows who for who knows what reasons.  It is late and I want to watch TV.

Thanks! It’s based on an actual ninja kitten I once met after spending quite a while at a pub...

    I may have hallucinated it...

It’s raining where you are too?... Coast to coast rain...

I know... But it’s a choking hazard... Maybe if they supervise her while she is playing with it... Naaa... It might be irresponsible for me to give them that.

Especially since it’s not heat treated steel... She’ll wreck the blade right away.

which was the spock's brother movie, lirk says he needs his pain. is like basicallly, what doesnt kill us makes us stronger?

the hospital experience, they like tried to break me with cruelty, i think they succeeded.  there is absolutely no justice for what northwell put me through.  patient advocate told me not to be disappointed if the jusrice center investigation doesnt do anything.  but i will be brutally disappointed, if northwell  doesnt suffer a hefty fine, nothing will change their business model

There is an early Star Trek book, by Pocket Books, the numbered series, where Sarek is somehow involved in a mountain community with lumberjacks and brides...it was very much like Here Come The Brides, a TV show in which Mark Lenard also starred.  They mixed the two universes.  It was a fun read.  Can't remember the title.

I got accused of going into the kitchen at night, but I do not remember leaving the room. I stayed in bed actually until morning.  I did not wake up in the middle of the night to visit the restroom.  I do not know what is up.

Non-complaint:  Saturday, a micro car-adventure day.  Went uptown just as an excuse to get out of the house.  No chores needed doing today.  Went for a cheap lunch at the texas-hot place.   Limited myself to one texas-hot and one kraut-dog.  Stopped in at the bigger grocery store in the next town and picked up three plain cake donuts made from scratch this morning (Yum!)  Spent a total of about $6 today.  Well below my budget for a micro-adventure.  Maybe I'll get through this pay-month without having to dig into savings again.  Yay!  But while driving, again the radio played a short beautiful piece that just made me feel good.  I've commented on this piece before but it's worth mentioning again.  It's only four and a half minutes long but It's a real "feel-good" piece.

...worried about being able to pay rent, bills or buy food next month because of certain "circumstances" I will not go into here,  What makes me nervous is I was suspposed to receive the refund deposit for my Medicare premiums I paid into on Thursday.  I checked my account again this morning and ino deposit has been posted yet. This makses me wonder if I will receive my normal SS deposit and SNAP benefits next week.

Does your TV have a headphone jack or perhaps an optical audio output connector?  enlightened

I wanted to log into an online game to see the holiday decorations.  Unfortunately, I forgot the login password.  Now I need to send an email to technical support.  The game's company doesn't have an automated system to recover passwords.  Ugg.
