Thanks for the info Shawn, I have Carrara but could not get on with it.

Over the weekend I got PaintshopPro2019 (Black Friday deal - £21) I use that to make my Bump / Normal maps, it did take me a while to get everything how I like it but I got there in the end :)

Kind of off topic, but wanted to say thank you, Wee Dangerous John for the free picture frames. The styles from rustic to modern and the shapes like the heart were a nice touch. I was very happy to pick them up!

Thank you Jonny, I hope you find them useful :)

My favorites are the marble scroll and album, they were fun to make.

P.S. The little Santa in the background was from last years Xmas freebie.

That looks great, Shawn. Love the nice clean lines of it and the dings and scratches on the texture that make it look well used. :)

  • Great design Shawn, you're textures are first rate :)

I remember the 'ole TV. Didn't get a clear picture unless the cat was sleeping on top of it. :)

That brake disc looks like an excellent way to receive some nasty burns.

made with the new computer and newest hexagon 2.5.2.109,dont know why I first ended up with left half of crossaint looked good, but right half became twisted and it was also impossible to correct the twisted "rings" to turn them, the rotation worked on older computer/older hexagon,so I second attempt I decided to just make half a crossaint, make a mirrored copy of that and weld together, and bending tool

    very nice models everyone

Robo nice tv set, remembered those that came with doors in front,so it looked just like another furniture

@Protozoon when you model something like that in Hex do you use Lines and Surfaces? Or is it mostly starting from a cylinder and extruding?

Sometimes, most times I google for measurements and dimensions. I have libraries of photos I use most.
