I wanted to start this thread. Obviously no body here owns every artical of clothing in existance so it would be nice to have a list of clothing that works right off the bat with the new dForce.
I encurage others to add their finds too, please remember to link the product so people can buy it if they dont own it already.

Good idea.
Perhaps people could also post relevant parameters along with a screen shot.
There's the thread in the Art Studio forum as well that is doing this

Well thats more of a showcase of art, rather then a product listing... The idea of this thread is to categorize and create a Library of dForce complatable wearables....
Heh! Already Flink over on Rendo has released a set of cobweb panels which are drapable with dForce. Complete with promos.
No render, just a screenshot, but the V8 Crochet dress https://www.daz3d.com/crochet-dress-outfit-for-genesis-8-female-s works perfectly, with absolutely no tweaking beyond adding the dforce modifier.
Honestly I wasn't expecting it to work so well since it has modeled in seamlines.
From my brief expiriments so far, I am actually super stoked about how it handles a bit of modeled detail, sure its not gonna work on buttons, but it doesnt need a perfectly flat mesh with no detail either
Yes I realise,
its just that we are ending up with so many threads that the information is getting scattered alover the place.
Something to bear in mind: There are various levels of "functional". There are outfits that won't explode, but then theere are outfits that actually have attributes set for the cloth so that it behaves like the corret type of cloth. Even beyond that, textures themselves can actually have dForce attributes applied when you load them, so a PA coul dbuild a a denim texture that maeks the cloth move like denim when applied, as well as a slik texture that is glossier and makes the outfit feel like silk, etc.
Fall Trends top works (I haven't tried the bottom yet):
Morphing Fantasy Dress for G2F works:
I've also tried many of Wilmap's dresses and so far the ones I've tried all work.
Does one need to do anything to the regular clothing in order for it to work with the dforce engine?
Edited: nevermind - I figured it out.
experimented on this one for the first time using dForce, https://www.daz3d.com/rule-of-cute-outfit-for-genesis-8-and-3-female-s
Have done a few tests and so far in my soon to be big list of compatible clothing:
https://www.daz3d.com/cheerleader-for-genesis-2-female-s works extremely well..
I have also found that the bulk of Wilmap's freebie clothing works really well under dForce..

Cool. Now that we have dForce I might actually buy that outfit when it goes on sale. The shoulder straps floating half an ince above her shoulders in the promo renders always put up red flags for me..
Don't currently have a render (one's cooking) but at least parts of the G2F MFD add ons also work surprisingly well, namely the Overskirt 1 and the long oversleeve expansion. Both draped well without falling off (though I believe either the G2 or the G3 versions are lightly geografted.)
I'm going through my outfits when I have time and testing them with dForce - I'm pretty pleased with this one : https://www.daz3d.com/glamour-outfit-for-genesis-3-female-s
I'm hoping to set up a video tutorial today or tomorrow on how I got the results in the image :)
Shouldn't the PAs start to test their own products and update the product page to include the dforce verified mark ? I think this will help them sell their products better thus this is their job.
I cant wait to test this out! I have to back up my files first. I really enjoy the glamour outfit and im a big fan of your work!
Geeze....I'm gonna have to buy more stuff....
dForce is one of the funnest things in dazverse since Iray came out :)
Forgive me for saying so but, looking at the image you posted, I still think the way the cloth folds at the hips looks wrong. I wonder whether it perhaps needed more time to settle?
That's the fun with experimenting with dForce - you can tweak the drape and pose till you're happy with the result. This was my happy point ;)
One question about dForce compatible clothing in the store: most say "for G8 Female" - I've only spotted one so far that claims to be for both G3F and G8F. I had been under the impressions that dForce would drape a dress on G8, G3 or G2. Is that not so?
It means that the dress is set up as a conforming item for Genesis 8 and includes the morphs for her so you can use it as a straight conforming item too. Draping will work on any of the different generations - but its impossible to support the conforming items and morphs for them all - unless prices rise by a considerable amount for time spent.
I've used dForce to drape clothing made for V4, G1, G2, G3, and G8 - so yes, many older clothing items are compatible with dForce.
They're selling only clothing for the newer figures because, well, they're the new figures. I wouldn't expect to see clothing for G2 or older in the store.
It works on anything... Including people. It's funny watching your character fold in on its self!
I'm Melting!... IM MELTING! hehe
I did that once by accident, came back to a puddle of goo girl and was horrified at what I had done :P
lol!
would be nice if you people show some of your settings also
@Divamakeup What you’re looking at in the promo images is the default clearance for the straps, which I can tell you —after a whole week of pulling my hair out and howling at the moon in the wee small hours—is the absolute minimum clearance to avoid them intersecting the shirt mesh in all the characters in all the poses.
I did however make an adjustment morph to fine-tune the height of the straps per individual application. It’s a compromise, I know, but in this way I hoped I would make everyone happy.
Hope this helps,
Sara

@ThatGuy Cool! I like your experiment :)
I love items made by you, Mada. I will wait for the tutorial about dress, because I have it purchased, as well.
I also agree on that, the dForce is such a fun thing to play with.
