May be the screen on my laptop but she appears to have a yellow tint

  • Tweaked the image color. Hopefully this gets rid of the "yellow"...

    Better

Though still more yellowish than brown on my laptop but not overly so

Might want to see what somebody else thinks before making to many changes since as we know some monitors even after calibration give different results

Still yellow on my screen. I have a Mac and sometimes PC created images don't look the same because it uses a different color space.

Hmm, maybe you should work in greyscale. wink

    Looks good to me.

  • I'll try again. My issue is that when I export the render as a TIF, that it comes in as 32-bit in Photoshop instead of 8-bit. When I switch to 8-bit, Photoshop goes wacky on the colors and I have to make adjustments to bring it back to what it should be. The fact that she's yellow-brown doesn't help.

For your test renders I would suggest saving them as .png files.

.png uses lossless compression, includes the alpha channel for transparency, and is already 8bits per cannel.  And you can upload .png files the the Daz3d forums and gallery.

  • Thanks. This is how she should've come across...

I went to the TOS set recreation in Ticonderoga this past Saturday. If you guys are interested in the pictures, I can link them here or PM you. I thought it was well done for the most part, especially all the props.

I'll take those!  Love any images of trek sets/props I can get (maybe one day I'll actually do something with them!).

Ok I was kind of iffy on it but with the Gamora look I'd say you nailed the likeness. Great work!

  • Thanks. My Uhura texture may be throwing it off. I've made different makeup options other than the pink.

Is it true that there is going to be a new Star Trek TV show?

Also is the latest movie on Netflix or Amazon Prime?   I started watching it but I cannot remember where I started but will like to watch the rest or the whole thing.

I believe it's $5.99 a month. I was told they currently have all the Star Trek shows and movies available to stream.

Star Trek Beyond is currently on Amazon Prime and Hulu Plus. I don't think any of the streaming services have ALL of the Trek films, including CBS All Access, although Netflix and CBS All Access have all the TV shows.

Amazon Prime does have the first 9 films. No idea why they don't have Nemesis.
