you can go to pcpartpicker and choose all the parts you have in the computer and see what the suggested power recommendation is for the whole system. It is a nice feature of that website. Just pick your cpu, mobo (or equivalent), cooler, a hard drive and the 1060 gpu to see what the power consumption is. I am guessing it is around 320-375 watts.
...OK home now, opwned up CPU-Z amd notice that it only monitors CPU and CPU cooler power consumption.
Checked around for other utilities however there really are no software tools to monitor load at the PSU, which I find odd. Seems everything else can be monitored except. The only other solution would be a wall meter but those cost (minimum 20$ at Newegg)

Nice PSU. You've got 360w on your 12v rails. Absolute overkill. The CPU + GPU are gonna use 65 + 120 = 185w. You are using barely more than half your available power. Don't bother getting a new PSU. You can even run a GTX1080 on your PSU.
..memory, HDDs, and case fans also add to the power load though not significantly so (particularly with only 8 GB and a single drive). The CPU cooler I have on my i7 is pretty beefy and it only takes a little over 5W at peak.
Cool, so I'm not getting any type of new hardware for the coming 1 year... Perhaps Ryzen may lure me to buy it sooner though.
But the problem with AMD processors is the heating issue. Am I right?
My Ryzen 1600 is cool as a cucumber on a stock cooler. Right now the biggest issue with Ryzen is RAM. Waitng on MOBO companies to drop a new bios update.
I was running 2 sticks of DDR4 2400, 16gb all total and everything ran smooth. I added 2 more 8gb sticks exactly the same and the computer wouldn't post or was unstable. I had to loosen the timings and up the voltage a little just to get the RAM to run at a downgraded speed. 2400 isn't nearly fast either. People have bought 3200 and can't get decent speeds. The last bios update helped. Just waiting and I am sure in the next few weeks everything will be fine. Love that I can overclock the CPU depending on what I am going to use it for. Just realize a basic Ryzen setup cost 700+ dollars.

Man seriously? If Ryzen doesn't get heated up then it is definitely a plus for AMD. But I read reviews which say that temperature of Ryzen at idle condition lies/lays between 52 - 60 degrees.
If that's the case, then how is it cool?

the 1st bios was reporting temps 20 degrees higher than actual usage. The most recent bios fixed that. My chip stays in the 40's even overclocked. 50-55 degree Celsius is actually not a bad temp as I understand. Not an expert just what I have read. I try to keep up on as much Ryzen news as possible since it is still new and being fixed/upgraded. Waiting on the next bios update to fix my RAM issue and more optimization.

How do you make Iray to use multiple GPUs to render? And how do you connect those multiple GPUs?
I have heard that even if there are multiple GPUs, Iray will still take/consider only one GPU while rendering. Strange things to learn each day :(
You don't have to connect them. In the advanced render settings tab you just select the cards you want to render with. The main issue is both cards should have the same RAM amount. Say you have a 4gb card and an 8gb card. If you go over 4gb of assets for rendering, IRAY won't use that cards CUDA cores. At least that is how I understand it. If you don't go over the 4gb of RAM then both cards will be used. If you want both cards to always be rendering then it is probably best to have equal amounts of RAM in each.
