I badly need ultrascatter for various grass models I have bought.
Leo 7 with the terrain exported from Bryce.
Yup-same guy! and thank you! I really like the clumping in that render with the grass as well-well done with that!
Is that Dmitri I see in a Western setting? I love the dust/volume in the air, well done with the framing and DOF as well.
Somewhere in Kandahar Province, Afghanistan, 2008
Playing with the new LTV from DarkEdgeDesign, IRAY, no postwork
You love it, nonesuch00. And it's pretty easy to get decent results without being expert at it. My last render is proof of that. The pdf instructions are really helpful, too.
Thank you. Though the credit really goes to Ultrascatter and the random seeds. I did take advantage of an open area to add a weed. That was all me.

Saw an old style oil lantern at work today and it gave me an idea for this render. While not my original plan, this render also serves as an test for Deluxe Santasuit and Iray Ghostlight Kit 2,
This is excellent work and it really shows off DED's new vehicle! Are the BDUs from the Daz store?
Man, I wish, they are game models from one of the games I play that I subdivided and rigged in DS. They work from a distance, but don't hold up well upclose due to the rigging being a bit off, LOL. Supposedly DED is working on a realistic military outfit, so well see. Kinda good they are game models though as that many of DEDs LTVs kills my resources as it is, can't imagine 12 clothed genesis 3 males in the scene also.
Thanks for the comment, it is appreciated!
If you still have this scene saved and ready to render.... You might want to try activating depth of field on your camera and set the focus area large enough to cover the foreground figures through the back of the second truck. That should be narrow enough to blur the background hills a little.
If you are going for realism, I've got a few critiques. The front side marker lights only iluminate when activating the turn signal or hazards. from this camera angle the headlights should look dim enough to see the structure of the bulb. And if the truck model allows for it you will never see all turrets facing forward in a convoy (shoud be front then alternate sides then rear)
Overall though it's a nice render.
Combining the death stalker, blind demon, skydome from Iray Skies, and some alien plants distributed on TerraDome3 terrain via beta of update of UltraScatter.
I played around with the death stalker material a little...
I'm a sucker for cute animal anthros. Got this with the new Duck.
'You should get that mole checked out'
One of the things that helped me make the leap to Genesis 3 is Skin Builder 3. The prospect of building up yet another library of textures, or going through expensive contortions to migrate textures to Genesis 3 (and I'm not thrilled with using geografts to do that)... meh.
But now... I picked up fantasy shapes, I need an orc skin... easy peasy!
I'm loving SB3, too. One of my best investments this year, (along with both Iray Ghost Light Kits!)
Word to the wise, though... the base Genesis 3 Female skin, converted to Iray using the Iray Uber Base, causes some issues in SB3 unless you replace it with the Skin Base option. (As I don't expect DAZ to change the base G3F materials, I've created my own Iray materials Preset, starting with another character's preset and replacing all the images with the appropriate images for the base female...)
...I've been enjoying it. The overlays are a real nice addition and as they no longer depend on the LIE characters load much faster. Freckles and vascularity are two really nice additions.Currently working on albino character and liking the results so far.
..I also have Beautiful Skins for Iray which serves as a good base.
Yeah, I found LIE an annoying thing to work around, particularly since I REALLY only wanted to have a few surfaces.
Speaking of skin, someone without skin!

Does that have all the layers of organs and such as taught by 6th Grade Health class?

Working on converting my Dart materials to IRay; only took a few hours to get the lighting and other settings to where everything balanced out right. Oy!
Nice
I need to play with the Dart more

This is the post-worked version. Non post work version can be seen here - https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/170311/ly-leonine-pro-hdr-lighting
Been ages since I posted to this thread. As always, great to see so much cool work going on.
With this one I was going for something of a vintage feel.
First experiment with painted HDR lights for IBL.
Finally tried out Terra Luna (which I've had but not used), also playing around again with textures on the Dune Hunter.
