    Here's Heather

Wow! That's a nice hair style! Very classic and delicately styled!! Wanna share? I love it! :D

    Hi Dalia,

I'm working on producing a number of styles that I hope to release very soon, perhaps in a bundle, but also alone. I'll put up more details as I get closer to release.

    Thanks. :)

Well had some fun putting fur on M4.... horse head morph Amducias by Philosopher's Egg (fantastic characters, totally worth a look if not buy them all, love them!) with the zebra texture, fur and mane done through LAMH....
    What a distinguished zebra! :)

Cool character Alia, I love the Zebra man! :)

See, I'm addicted to long hair styles!!!

Fisty's velvet shader for hair again, Maraieh's fabricator shaders on the dynamic maiden fair dress.
Hair of course done in the incredibly cool Look At My Hair plugin. :D

Has anyone managed a set of tight curly hair with this yet?

I haven't yet Agent... probably because my runtime has a gazillion of tight cork-screw curly hair styles (some tame, some wild, some long some short, some thin some thick)..... and been focusing on the styles i couldn't ever BUY. what kind of style were you thinking? i'm not a great stylist like the others so only simple styles :P

Something like this, maybe? Or this?

I've been playing around but all I've managed has been straight hair so far.

Steve did a great one some time ago (we even used it in a promo image). I'll see to prepare a .lmh to share soon.

Ome way to do it, is to increase the number of hair points, say to 30 for example, so that the curl deformer will have more points to span and wrinkle.

This is crazy fun even if I haven't managed anything postable yet. XD

It would be nice to have a way to paint maps that control length as well as density.

How does one switch to the scissors and scale tools?

Read the PDF if you haven't already, it has all the details!

Shift key and mouse click to cut, control key plus mouse click and drag for scaling the length up or down.
I wrote the main keyboard controls and put it on the side of my monitor so I can work really fast. I have a horrible memory. Seriously. >_<</p>

Yes, it will crash DS under certain conditions which are being addressed in 1.1. Specifically, if you have the LAMH hair object selected shown under 'Scene' in DS when you try to manipulate, load or save the hair object in LAMH. Always make sure you have only the figure selected whenever you attempt to edit, modify or save the hair object within LAMH. Otherwise, DS may crash.

Not sure if that's what you're doing, so you'll have to post more specific details about what you were doing that lead up to the crash.

    Thanks.

The DAZ Horse 2 is one of our main testing figures, and works very well. Make sure that you put the figure into "Base Resolution" before importing it into LAMH.

Thanks! I completely missed them in the shortcuts. Should probably have searched for cut or scale instead of just scissors. XD

Thank you for you help everyone

Here is what im doing in sequence

Import Daz Horse 2 into Daz Studio 4.5 pro 64 bit

From Smart content tab/ animals/ Select Horse 2

From Create new Look at my hair, start Hair Salon

using >, import base horse 2 figure into Hair Salon

Save base figure in Hair Salon ok, no problem

Note there are no surfaces or any other features used in Daz Studio used at this time

Import horse 2 - parted mane.lmh that someone else has produced

    all ok

Save the same without doing anything to model PC crashes

    also

When you first return back to Daz Studio from the Hair Salon the number of hairs you have selected is not rendered at that amount
The second from the Hair salon works correctly

    Kindest wishes

    Keiron

    Hi Keiron,

I've replicated your steps and I found no issues on that, even though I'm on OSX. I'll try on Windows in the next couple of hours...

Will 1.1 have the fix to deal with changing network adapters? I don't even try to use 1.0 right now, since every time I go to use it it complains about being un-authorized because the NICs change on my laptop depending on what cellular card I've got connected. (Discussed this a bit with Allesandro in E-mail as he was sending me multiple authorization codes.)

I'm having a bit of a problem... I had been using LAMH already without problems (other than myself *g*), but now it constantly asks me for the installation and activation code... once I put them in and click activate, it tells me that it has been saved and that I should start LAMH again. When I do that, I'm again asked to enter the codes. even with starting ds anew it stays the same. I've reset and downloaded LAMH and installed it again, but the problem stays...

Unfortunately there's nothing showing up in the logfile either...

Is there anything I can do to fix this?
