I like your style Kyoto, especially the post work. It really adds to the story.

...thank you very much. This pic means a lot to me as I've been heavily moved by the RL child soldier pics I've seen. Innocence and joy is forced to take a back seat to survival and these kids have to grow up a lot faster then they should.

I have a lot of faves on my DA site of child soldier pics. It is a very sad part of reality.

...don't know if I can come up with anything that could match this for this challenge, but will do my best.

Again, thank you. It means a lot to me.

...I have to say that this one moves me the most. Then again I have a soft spot for lost innocence.

I like the fact that a lot of you are using Bryce! I haven't used Bryce for ages

Us Brycers thought it would be good to show that Bryce isn't all about islands on infinite water plains. :-)

Well went back to have a look at the other two. "The Cost" has both emotional impact and technical skill. Nicely done!

    "Thea Gathror"

    Used -- City Ruins building 4 --

    Daz Studio 4.5

A former "companion" Bot gone rouge after being framed for a high end political assasination. Currently hiding in the Burb ruins. Has developed a knack for salvage acquisitions of Military and Police drone robots. Looks like she has found some more spare parts...

From the rules: "Random winners:at the end of each week(Saturday) one random entry will win Any 1 model from the Stonemason catalogue"

I know the contest just started, but was there a winner on Saturday the 26th?

I didn't see anything about it, so I assumed we would have to wait till after the first full week. But I'm just guessing.

Nope. The contest only kicked of on Friday the 25th so not enough entries existed to have a fair draw I would think.

    Title: Here Comes The Sun
    Rendered in: Daz4.5
    Post in: Photoshop CS5
Stonemason Items: City Ruins, City Ruins Vehicles, Trees, Props, Signs, Cables, Back Ground Buildings From Urban Sprawl 2, Lamp Posts from Urban Future 4, Weeds and Tires & Pallets from the Warehouse District, the Back Streets, Tin Pan Alley, Walls from Stonemason Fortress, Stonemason Ruins.

After all was said and done, it was a productive night. She was sure of it. OK, it was only a small recon team, but three less of them was always a good thing. Maybe she could dress it up a bit in the A.A.R...I mean really, who reads those things all the way through anyway?

As for now, the only thing left to do was watch the Sun rise and reflect on how nice of an area this had once been...at least before the Occupation.

For now her thoughts turned to the more mundane: "When is the next convoy coming through? How much ammo do I have left? When do we go back inside the wire again?"

His thoughts were more to the point. "Who d'ya gotta kill to get an decent Espresso around here?"
