I ordered something for my camera on March 12 but it may not arrive until March 31.  The shipping company is slow.  Maybe the backage originated from an overseas store?

Hint: He is wearing blue pants.

Is it okay to ask for another hint?

Just bought a motorcycle. The time I spend on the road will be time I won't be here buying things.

Bike will probably pay for itself.

...tried riding one when I Was much younger, never could get the hang of shifting gears with the foot and using the hand to engage the clutch. Kind of the opposite of driving a stick shift.  Guess now they make cruiser bikes with automatic transmissions these days, but usually those are the larger heavier models which are about as expensive as a car.

Be careful out there, some motorists have a deep seeded disdain for motorcycles.

went out to lunch the other day.

they took a picture of my dessert cuz wuz so cute  too cute to eat?  nope smiley

went to carvel for other day for an ice cream cone.
    a small was 4.50.  4.50
i can remember when a double cone from Mr.Softee was 50 cents, xtra 5 cents if you wanted the chocolate ears on a micky mouse cone.

they had a flutterby ice cream cake but their card swiper machine wasnt working.

..I remember Carvel.  Used to have a stand a short walk away from home.  Unfortunately the local Carvel stores where I lived were all taken over by Tastee Freeze which peddled soft serve instead of frozen custard.  Their double cone was called the "Double Header". A chocolate dip was only 10¢, 5¢ more for nuts.

There still is an old fashioned Custard stand in Milwaukee that has been around for ages out on S 27th St near the old Southgate Shopping Centre (which closed down many years ago).

Nah, not the dummy in the background.  But the only other possibility that I see is Wilber.  Waldo's twin brother.

Big news locally.  Huge fire takes out half a block of the nearest village.  Not much of old downtown Falconer left. Several 3&4 story 100 year old brick buildings gutted or collapsed.  Twenty homeless.  Nearby businesses smoke and water damaged.  Bummer day! sad

ARGHHHH...., my car needed another organ to be replaced.  The windshield wiper decided that it wanted to wipe at any random old time, frequently.  All attempts to resolve the issue by simple measures failed.  They needed to replace the wiper motor.  Which of course these days has built in electronic smarts that are probably the problem but you can't buy just the circuit card, nooooo, you have to buy the whole motor assembly.  That amounted to $200 that I could have used somewhere else to better advantage. no

However, the good news is that I got another quote for repairs on my really big problem (the rusty unibody frame) that is a few hundred dollars less that the first quote I got.  I think I'll go get one more quote and pick the one I trust the most.

So, since I've been stuck at home without car for a day, I've been DAZzing while listening to Stravinsky's "Firebird Suite" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=je31k6COkzU  the death(sleep) starts @ 15:00, the rebirth(awakening) starts @ 19:43

And of course there's always the Disney version https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3eG_O1wEJ40 that is interesting in itself and fits the music but has completely distorted the image of the benevolent Firebird and changed it to an angel of death.  Just like Disney's flying whales have nothing to do with Pines of Rome.  (I want some of what they're smoking!)frown https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7EBy1lBXgtE

(Note: The plot of the ballet is found here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Firebird  but I've always just linked the music to a simpler mythological story of the firebird being alive, dying in a burst of flame, and being reborn from its ashes.)

...the more I hear people experiencing costly issues with their cars, the more I am glad I no longer drive. 200$, that would get me the 24 GB memory upgrade and some change to pick up a couple Fastgrab Items.  Still need the W7 Pro OEM though which is another 60 - 70$.

I could have sworn that posts require a minimum number of letters on this forum.  Maybe I am thinking of another forum.

He might be behind the guy in the bobble hat. The blue trousers are an obvious red herring, because we can't see his pants underneath them, and so they could be any colour (or he might be going commando) . . .

I hate my life right now.   It seems like I cannot do what I want to do.   I tend to do minor stuff instead of what I want to work on.  I tend to do stupid things instead of smart things.  I get accused of only doing things I want to do and going places I want to go to as if it was true and a bad thing.   There is so much I want to do but I get stuck trying to figure out the right way to do them in the right order that nothing gets done.   Unless it is work related (aka what they consider my real job) I have nothing that I need to do so when I make plans they are not important, but what they think is important and just what they think is important.  My art projects are not important to them.  I hate it.  I am trying to become a published artist or something like that but I am not getting any support in real life.
