I hate my life right now.   It seems like I cannot do what I want to do.   I tend to do minor stuff instead of what I want to work on.  I tend to do stupid things instead of smart things.  I get accused of only doing things I want to do and going places I want to go to as if it was true and a bad thing.   There is so much I want to do but I get stuck trying to figure out the right way to do them in the right order that nothing gets done.   Unless it is work related (aka what they consider my real job) I have nothing that I need to do so when I make plans they are not important, but what they think is important and just what they think is important.  My art projects are not important to them.  I hate it.  I am trying to become a published artist or something like that but I am not getting any support in real life.

...I can understand adn empathise with this.

I was a similar work situation in my last job where what I knew was not appreciated except when it meant dumping a bigger workload on me (usually with no added compensation).  It became frustrating to deal with inefficient processes and procedures that could have easily been streamlined but weren't because if you mentioned a better solution, you were usually accused of "complaining".  It was infuriating at times to work for someone who was pennywise and pound foolish.  We had old equipment, like our old offset press and bindery machines, that were basically held together by a wing, a prayer and bubble gum. which needed a full overhaul if not replacement.  Meanwhile the CEO drove around in one of two a 60,000 - 70,000$ Jaguars, had a couple SUVs, and a 300,000$+ motorhome.

Even seeing me hobble about the plant or gritting my teeth in pain during those last couple years when having to bend down or lift a heavy box as my bones and joints were getting worse, didn't seem to matter.I often worked while while ill because the company effectively had no real "sick days" and if I called in or went home early because I wasn't feeling well, felt that they thought I was just "slacking off".   My average day with commute was something like 13 - 14 hours and I'd be so physically and mentally exhausted (the latter from the bad workplace politics) when I got home I would make dinner, cruise the forums for a bit then go to bed so I could od it all over again the next day.  It got to the point where I really was "living for the job" instead of "working to live", and getting paid pretty poorly in the process for it.

Stuck it out for several years hoping I could just make it to retirement age however when the firm reorganised after it was acquired by another company four years ago, I was one of several people they let go.

What about the froggies?  Every Spring we here them wake up and start chirping in the pond right across the street from my house.  Well, a few nights ago I heard a lot of them.  Then the deep freeze came...single digit temperatures and negative wind chills!  Poor things.  They got very quiet.  Probably went back to hibernation sleep.

...usually as that is where our rainy weather comes from. The Pacific here is much colder than the Atlantic on the east cost as the current flows from north to south instead of south to north like y'all get there.  The really bitter cold winds come form the east during the winter as temps on the other side of the mountains can get below 0°  F.  In summer we get the opposite effect when there is an east wind because the high desert in the eastern part of the state gets scorching hot.  Sort of like our version of the Santa Ana winds in California but not as extreme.

...if you have real butter and maple syrup, most definitely so.

Been on the phone about an hour trying to figure out something about Netflix.   I am so confused at this point.  I got transferred between Netflix DVD and Streaming so many  times it is not funny.  I am not sure what I can or cannot do about it.  At least I have DVDs at this point.

I returned the ddr3 desktop ram I got.  Amazonjust recieved it but did not issue a refund until I called.  When I get a new desktop I doubt it will be able to use those ram sticks.  Now to waitfor the funds to appear on my card so I can get netflix streaming back and to properly enjoy March madness.

wind blows from the south pole so yes, north is where the desert is and the hot winds blow :)

...both MMs are over for me.

Out of money for the one here and Wisconsin lost in overtime to Florida, 85 - 84 (on a buzzer beater shot) in that "other" MM on the telly earlier tonight.

...day went pretty well, even made incredible bus connections all day (usually never have that happen).  The only downer was the overtime loss by Wisconsin in the MM basketball tourney I mentioned above.

...oh and not winning the Mega Millions draw. 48$ million after taxes would have been a very nice nest egg.

Searching though the runtime for A3 clothing that isn't fae based for my RRRR submission.  Been a while.
