Same for me. I was going to save that $50 gift card to spend closer to Christmas, since it was Christmas money - but once I saw that it added 25% discounts to my purchase I've already spent like half of it. lol Good job, marketing team! You made me spend my Christmas money a week early. lol :P
Seriously though, I'm glad I did. As it gave me an AMAZING deal on Monique 7 and a couple other items. :)

Hmmm... I only went up 5% after buying a $400 gift card, (my entire budget for the next four+ weeks.) lol Maybe 30% is as high as it gets.

Yeah, I've not seen anyone post any number higher than 30% so I think you're right, that's likely as high as it goes. That's really sweet though -as it seams to work even on sale items, so that's a great stacking discount! :)
Oh, I'm not complaining. Not really. I saved $64 buying that gift card, And they're making everything cheaper for me because of it? Ha. Makes me wanna dance!
Whatever algorithm DAZ has for maximizing purchases, it must be incredible. From the first Facebook ad that led me here, to the freebies that kept me coming back, to the March Madness sales that made me buy digital content for the first time in my life as a lifelong gamer... at every point they've been able to seemingly predict what would make me part with my money.
I mean... I never paid for pay to view videos... I never purchase extra content in games... I don't care about skins or special weapons... I don't pay premium content on mobile games... I've always prided myself as being kind of immune to the "free to play," scam where you can play all you want, but if you REALLY want your farm to take off, you're going to have to spend some money...
Heck... I go to Vegas or Reno and I play nickle and quarter video poker and if I lose $20, I walk away, and if I win $60 or more, I walk away.
But DAZ has shaken me down harder in 8 months than I've lost at either of those cities in my entire life.

Loyalty discount went from 15% to 30%. And that while I didn't buy that much - just like one 30 dollars and one 13 dollar purchase. Maybe they just like that you're really buying?
I noticed just now that my discount has gone up from 5% to 25% even though I've only spent about $5 since beginning of December!
I've therefore just gone and bought FWSA Tempie HD for Victoria 6 for the bargain price of $1.80 and got the free earrings too!

Man, I got a killer discount on the Markus Bundle yesterday. Now my Holiday loyalty discount is up to %30. I have rationalized that every dollar I spend over the rest of the year is actually SAVING me money from buying this stuff at a much higher price during the rest of the year! Regular price $98.95 . I think I paid about $49 for it. I call that, "SWEET!"
I'm conflicted. On the one hand I probably shouldn't spend $400 on myself for the holidays. On the other it just feels like kicking butt for The Lord!
Now that I've had a chance to try some of the things out, I have to say that I'm massively impressed with OoT's Topmodel updo hair. All the usual options as well as so many bang and bun options that are actually different meshes, adjustable ponytail heights with the hair following ... basically everything I've wanted in tied up hair in forever. Now if only there was a matching down version.
Overall I like the look of the Waif hair but I'm disappointed by the apprent lack of a behind shoulders option.
I think you nailed it. There are some geniuses in the DAZ marketing department! (Maybe evil ones, who knows!) I've never spent so much on digital products of any kind in my life till I got here. But I get a lot out of them too- inspiration, promo art, book covers, etc. So I can "justify" the addiction, but yeah, it's an addiction! I can't remember where I heard or read that there are drug addicts, some homeless, that spend over 100k on drugs a year to support their habit. Where do they get it? They're resourceful and find ways to squeeze blood from a turnip, just like 3D art addicts do, LOL.
And I'm the same way too, Donovan. I'm super frugal with just about everything, even when I don't have to be. I pinch on the things I don't care about, so that I can afford for the things I love. I have a lot of interests, but writing and 3D art are at the top of the list.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I hear the shopping page's siren song calling my name. I must go bathe in beautiful promo art and look at the DAZ pretties they're offering today at a steal plus an extra 30% off! HA!
I quit smoking to justify spending the money that would have gone to cigarettes on DAZ products. :D Heh. They should use that as a testimonial. "DAZ will help you quit smoking!"

LMAO! Congratulations on quitting smoking! I think DAZ addictions are healthier. At least we have something cool in our runtimes and product libraries to show for it! And rendering only clogs up your computer, not your lungs.
Does anyone else love gazing at their Product Libraries? It's like looking at a closet full of beautiful clothes. (Virtual ones!)

A couple of crazy deals- with all the discounts stacking, here's a few super cheapies if you haven't swiped them up already, mostly from the superhero sale. I've got the Stonemason Containment Zone ($7!) in my cart for an extra 10%, plus the Holiday discount of 30%. I've got a few other things in there too. The Alley is pretty cheap, under $5 with all the discounts:

Can somebody confirm whether the superhero 50%\60% off with a new release items discount is working correctly? The prices seem too high to me, like the extra 10% isn't coming off, but with so many discounts going on, my head is reeling.

I'm also not seeing the correct discount on the OOT Raiya 2016 top sellers items. :( guess I'll put in another ticket.
I don't think it is working correctly, but with so many different deals at the same time, it is hard to tell which piece is failing. The superhero items are too high in the cart, by my calculation.
As it stands, I don't think any of the superhero items are currently stacking with other discounts...

There were some that weren't working earlier, but I can't remember which ones. Any more, if they're not right, they don't stay in my cart. Tired of doing the math!
I calculate the percentage I should be seeing, by subracting the percentages from a base of 100. Then I trust in the Overdrawn/Ati Daz Deals add on to show the discount in my cart. A lot less math. For example, the 40%/50%w/nr, no other discounts, works out to 65% with my Loyalty discount. If I put a product in my cart, for example an older Stonemason product that should be getting the "40%/50%w/nr" discount but isn't, I don't have to do any calculations, I just see that it isn't at 65% and I know the discounts aren't working.
The discount for those, with any new release should be 60%, but only coming up at 50%:
With a loyalty discount of 30%, Containment Zone and Monique 7 also in the cart, I'm seeing only 68% on the item I put in my cart from the 2013-2015 Superhero Selection page.
ETA: There are quite a few Daz Originals on the Superhero page. If you're a PC+ member, there is an extra 30% in there::
Note: The Daz Deals add on does not show partial percentages. When the discounts get really high, the actual percentages can be more or less than shown by several tenths of a percent.
LOL...pretty soon it's going to be difficult for me to by anything at a 99% discount. I thought I was cleaning out my wishlist over these past couple of sales. But, it's actually gone up in number! Then, I turn on the PC today and looke at the new Stonemason item and the extra morphs, and I'd really like to take advantage of the discount on G3 Aging Morphs....Yikes! It doesn't matter anymore if the price is $0.10 per item. I still have a hard time not emptying my bank account on this stuff...LOL
