    I was just really glad I emptied my cart earlier today to grab two of the three Mely3D items in Fast Grab. However, I was just able to checkout. I highly recommend you take a screenshot of your cart as soon as you are able to load your cart, just in case the site goes wonky again! Then you'll have it for CS so you can still get your discounts and free item.

    I was hoping by now it would be fixed. Nope. I can't put anything in my cart. I can't even see the sale page. I just keep getting:

    Error 524 

    A timeout occurred

     

    ...This is beyond ridiculous at this point I'm extremely mad. I've been trying ALL DAY to try and get items in my cart and bought. But it looks like I'm going to miss out on the free bundle. I'm PISSED.

    This is getting ridiculous. The new releases are set to be released in about an hour and all yesterday and today these problems are going. Why on earth hasn't someone from DAZ at least posted in the forums to let us know what the problem is???? If it's something they are working on, why can't someone just come in and say "hey, we know there's a problem, this is it [explanation here], we are all working on it, please have patience, we expect it be fixed in [estimated time]". At least acknowledge they know of the problem and are working on it! Just let us know something!

    One thing I did earlier yesterday that I would recommend- if you DO make a purchase, manually download it right away. I was able to test the cartooning product by manually installing it- and sure enough, the site was down just minutes after I made my purchase.

    Lilith is out.

    I'm probably going to skip the pro bundle. Only the Hair in It is a must have. The pro Character (Agnes) is not very appealing to me (still technical pretty good) and the addional clothing sets are nice but nothing I really need to buy.

    So I'm going to probably buy the Starter Bundle + Bonny Hair.

    The Shilon Character is great and the Clothing Sets in the Starter Bundle have more unviversal use (at least for me...)

    I like a few of the clothing sets, the character does nothing for me (though her eyebrows are nice).

    I like the three clothing outfits...and that's it. Don't like the hairs at all.

    Is the Bonny hair not supposed to have a discount on it? I put it in my cart earlier when it had one, then came back a little while later and saw the price increase. Right now it's the only one of the debuts on the sale page without a discount showing.

    Nice offers for the final final last catchup sale... unfortunately it's one day only and I don't get paid until tomorrow. "Entire store on sale" suggests that stuff that hasn't appeared on the PA sale so far is on sale too though so that seems like a key for some people.

    10% gift card, no thanks. If there is something I'm interested in then yeh, but even if I'm interested 10% just isn't enough for me; buy something to get, is a hell no.

    Looks like I'll be adding to my wishlist.

    It is a shame there is no final mega flash grab like we had in the mid-month catchup, where loads of older stuff was available for 83% off, but at least we get a wide variety of stuff for 60% off.

    The Reductions does not to seem to be calculated correctly

     

    I would have expected the last 4 at 55% (50% for 2 New Items -and 10% for Gatekeeper)

    Yes, the Gateway items are interacting with themselves (50% off for multi-buy) and the PA back-catalogue (60% off less 10%) correctly, but the other PA New Releases are not working properly (never going below 40% off less 10% with a Gateway item - no 50% for two or more)

    Does it mean no refund of price difference for those who may have bought some of these items in the last few days?

    It is probably either that or so you can't chain gift cards in some manner (or buy years and years of pc+ membership.)

    There's already two more threads about this, so i guess I'll post my thoughts here: tomorrow is a long weekend for both Canada ans the US, so support may be extra slow this weekend :/

    To be honest I have zero understanding for that. It is so incredible dumb from a business point of view.
     And we discussed this quite a few times during the bug ridden March Madness.

    Assuming that the Final Catchup sale of such a big month long sale is a major revenue driver it is just incredible dumb to not have someone to check at least in the first 3-6 hours of the day (if I would be the Manager there it would be first 30 minutes) that all the discounts work as advertised.

    Why:

    1) you can assume that most customer are not crazy enough to come back multiple times a day to check if it works and just walk away

    2) they would also catch the "customer friendly" glitches like unintended stacking that probably also cost DAZ quite some money.

    So now the discounts are fixed, but what is the 'up to 75% off' advertising referring to? Daz Originals are only discounting to 68.5% off with two or more plus a gateway item in the cart. I'm getting really cheesed off with today's sale.

    Yeah triggering all the discounts the lowest I can get a DO new release is 68%

     

    Having a complicated massive one day sale on a long weekend is an interesting decision to be sure.
