So! Sunny is here and I think she is great.
Big+ is that she seems to use Base UV and not a custom one. I really don't understand why they hav to do it since most of the Add-On Chars for those specific characters are using Base Base UV anyway.
But I think this could be the first time since long that I won't get a Bundle.
Rebates on the Bundles are not especially high (Pro: 47$ something) and there are the good PA Sale rebates on the single Items
I don't need/want anything out of the starter bundle but most out of the Pro Bundle (great stuff). But with Buying Sunny Stand Alone + everything from Pro beside the Poses I'm am 5$ below the Pro Bundle.
Not sure if the addional 5$ are worth it to get the not really needed stuff..... have to think about it...
Same here. However, it's only $5 more for six additional items. So the real question I'm asking myself is if I'd ever use the other items. I'm sure I'd use the other hair at some point. I'd probably use the shorts and shirt, though not together. And the aerial suit is actual quite versatile. I could use it for a one-piece swimsuit... I'm sure to use at least one pose each from the pose packs... I have no use I can think of for the Hanami outfit, which probably means I'll use it more than the other things combined! lol... I'm leaning heavily toward just getting the pro-pack, (plus something else to trigger the extra discount.)
One thing I really appreciate is the fact all the items in the bundles are included in the sale individually. I've never seen that before, though I've only been shopping here for two years.
For the additional Items have a look at the Texture Packs, they look really nice this time. Especially for the Quinn Outfit i belive you need it to make it useable.
I'm kind of teetering on Sunny 7. There's nothing explicitly *special* about the figure and the skin textures aren't appealing to me. For reference, I have Vic 7, Karen 7, Arabella 7, Olympia 7, Aiko 7, and Star 7. I suppose she'll fit the petite look, but size usually doesn't show up as a significant factor in my renders.
I feel like I should get a leg up on posting my tutorials, but I have so many side projects on the go... :)
This sale has been great... not one thing from my wish list has been on sale so I am grateful to Daz for saving me all that money I might have spent.... a whole month without buying anything. ... thanks
5'9" is petite? Daz has created such a bizarre universe. The average female height is like 5'4" in most of the USA, and actually even shorter internationally. Must be growth hormones in the water in Utah. I refuse to buy any of these Gen 7 mutants, there's only so much room in my runtime, and it would be cruel to make them stoop down so they don't bump their heads.

Then again, I've picked up things not on my wishlist that were "I'd like to have, don't really need, but I'm sure I'd use it, just don't want to spend so much..." for under $2 each... some of those were well under $1... so I'm not really complaining.
At least my prayers were answered today and the Uber Male Boris was in fast grab finally. I think my favorite G2M. He's been in my wishlist for 6 months. Now I have a man big enough to tame these women. I may need a bigger computer.

I doubt the artists that make the DAZ Origi al characters all live in Utah...

Wow! I'm not sure what is "mega" about today's MegaFastGrab with only 6 items in it. There's not much there to encourage me to spend my money today; so, It looks like I'll be saving a lot
What's with the "release 3 expression packs on the same day" thing they do with every character lately? Do they want the vendors to face off in an almighty deathmatch?
p.s. name your expressions please I want to delete all the "01 02" dials I have from prior purchases.

I know right? I'm like "mega" fast grab? Six items? Isn't it more like mini fast grab? Or at best regular fast grab?
By far the most disappointing "mega fast grab" to date. I haven't spent a single penny since the start of the PA sale ..and that makes me sad. At this rate I may not spend any money here this month - and that would be a first for me since starting using Daz Studio 5 or 6 months ago.
Export > Wavefront / OBJ

Load figure you want, Import > pick your file, then with it selected go to Edit > Transfer Utility. Tell it to copy FROM the figure you've loaded, TO the clothing object you imported.
Might need to readd textures and things.
There might be a better way someone can be bothered doing but there's my 2 minute tutorial~

"MEGA" FastGrab today is a joke, lol.
LOL thought the same thing. I did a bit of a double take...wondering if I actually had EVERYTHING on it which is why only three items were showing. Wow. Bit of a downer.
A wild guess? They didn't have enough products for Sunny when they released her. Yesterday's sale included all the products in the bundles. I've never seen that before. Usually there are a number of other items—textures for bundled clothes, of course, but other items as well—that are released the same day, and the items in the bundles have to be part of the bundle to get promo pricing, (discounts better than the regular new release discounts.)
I actually thought they were responding to those of us who complained the items in the bundles didn't get the sale pricing, until I saw today's sale and the redundancy of three expression packs. Of course, it's still a wild guess. DAZ has so many products to QA and get ready for this sale, it could just be the way things came out, based on the other stuff in the pipeline.
I really do hope DAZ looks at the Mega Fast Grab tomorrow, when they get into the office, and fix whatever went wrong. (I'm sure something went wrong!) The last time MFG had a limited number of items they were all very nice characters. I didn't need any, so I didn't look that close, but I think they were newer than Gen4.
I agree. The knitting shaders are cute. Love what they did with the CamBot! I like the heels, even though I have no need for them. But the dress is wonderful. I must buy it to show support for the non-skimpwear clothing.
I dunno - they did the 3 expression pack things for the past few characters too (at least for Julie and Aiko, though Aiko's weren't all in one day like Julie's and Sunny's were.)
One thing in fast grab i especially noticed:
Morphable seats contain 18+ indent morph targets for character posing
So it IS possible to make cushions a lot more believable, just it isn't done very often by the vendors.
And I have 3 of those 6 ... and I have everything in A3 Mega Bundle, so I have 4 of 6 ... oh my.
Good for my wallet.

Hmm I've tried it three times and I can't seam to get it to work.
Yeah, thought then same about the Nano Fast Grab and the Expressions Flood.
But to be fair, one of the Expression Sets is really nice (The Zeddicuss one) and i probably get it in the next 2 days..
There is nice stuff in todays PC+ relase though.
I just tried it and it worked in terms of exporting the clothing item as an object and then fitting it to the then loaded figure in terms of moving appropriately, but it sooo didn't "fit" in terms of changing shape to the body (which should have been obvious in retrospect.) You'll have to wait for whoever it was' actual advice on how they do it I'm afraid.
Is that where you're getting stuck? Or somewhere earlier? Figuring out export settings took me awhile when I first started, but the ones in the screenshot should have worked (just be aware that it'll export all visible items together so you want to do them one by one, hiding other things you don't want) and as long as the source is the figure and target the clothing object it should make it into clothing fine without any other settings, which you can then save. (Doesn't fix adjusting the clothing to actually fit the G3F shape though.)
The problem isn't whether they are nice: you like the Zeddicuss ones, that's great - now how are the other two PAs meant to feel? It just feels like a really weird marketing choice to put them all in at once.
The new PC+ hair is cute but I don't know if I'm that bothered about buying content right now.
