Awww man another good one gone too soon.....
Hey, congrats! I was two years behind you. Nine and seven are magic numbers, so here's to an extra awesome year for both of us.
So to hear this news, sending Good vibes.
This just goes to prove why people shouldn't rely on Artificial Idiots, I'm sure a Real Idiot wouldn't have been stupid enough to come up with an answer like this. To make matters worse, this is now a valid answer on the Idiot-net and other AIs will use it to formulate answers to similar questions, because as we all know if it's on the internet, It Must Be Right!
The moral of this of course if you have a stupid question, ask a Real Idiot not an Artificial Idiot, the answer will be just as daft but at least you won't have to worry about putting the idea of microwaving people into somebody’s head and you won't influence other idiots answers.
And this is why I want to put my head through a wall when someone says "I asked ChatGPT, and it said..."
Well, one of the reasons, anyway.
(I'm surprised it didn't have further instructions on turning a breast pump on reverse or some such to get it in there.)
When our two daughters were young enough to need a night time feed, I always woke up to do it. My wife could sleep though any amount of our brats screaming. The one night she woke up, she remained asleep until after I was done, and woke up the second the cat yowled his demand for food because he was used to me feeding him too, and I was a bit slow.
Every night I got up, I had milk bottles in the fridge ready with water only in them, warmed the water a calculated amount in the microwave (based on the microwave power, the amount of water, temperature difference required, the enthalpy of the water and a thermal mass value for the bottle), shook it up to even out the temperature through the water and bottle and then added the formula powder after warming the water so there was no risk of cooking the milk with a hotspot. This worked out at 5 seconds per ounce + 5 seconds for the power microwave we had at the time, and was only applicable in our particular circumstances. However.. it worked ,whatever the medical professionals thought.
Regards
Richard
So, if @richardandtracy suddenly disappears from the forum, we know the reason why
I think with a lot of parenting advice, it's very broad to account for people who can't be bothered to be careful or think things through. (Although I think a microwave might zap a lot of the beneficial things that's in the "straight from the source" milk, so there's likely a good reason there not to use a microwave for it.)
Teen Kiddo was a hybrid baby (formula and mom-juice) and to this day I can still get exactly eight ounces of water out of the faucet without looking.
The one thing I do wish someone had warned me about was that babies can have a bad reaction to diaper cream, and it can make the problem worse instead of better. Learned that one the extra hard way. Kudos to my dad for thinking to try some of the Aquaphor he had sitting around from a previous hospital stay. Fixed it right off.
Probably the result of a lot of training material being the vapouring of incels, so it has woman and fridge down as synonyms.
...AI
I'll stick to doing my own research the old school way.
My landlord is increasing my rent too high. It feels like I have to move out by the end of the month. I do not know what to do.
Complaint: I went to see Iron Maiden play tonight, and the concert was interrupted by a power outage! We had to wait 1 hour before they could start playing again, and they couldn't play the whole set list due to the venue closing time.
Still was a great show, though.
Oh no! Did they at least play their encore(s) early so you could hear the stuff they save for the end? Glad you enjoyed it despite technical difficulties.
That's what you get for being a powerslave.
Nope, we got the rest of the main set list (with one song cut short by the power outage) but no encores.
Agreed, not feeding cats the second food is demanded is a capital offence in our household. Regards, Richard
Anybody know how many times this complaint thread series has been reincarnated? Over how many years? Are the original ones still accessible?
I don't know how many times, but the complaint thread has existed for longer than this version of the forums (so at least since 2012, probably longer)
Yes, the previous ones posted on these forums are still available (though locked). They all have a link to the previous thead in first post and next thread in last post, if you ever want to try to find them all. This seems to be the first one on this version of the forums: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/135/the-return-of-the-son-of-the-complaint-thread/p1
The ones which were posted on the old forums disappeared with them unfortunately.
Complaint: I just visited my Product Library...it only shows one page!!!
I have over 6,000 products. I can't find a way to page through. What am I missing?
Never mind. I refreshed the page by selecting number of items per page, and now the pager shows at the bottom of the pages.
...I think I remember the complaint thread was around when I first started here in 2008
Non-complaint: Weather this June has been wonderfully mild. After finally getting my new A/C installed, it has only run for a short while on one day. The rest of the time it just cycles the fan on to sniff the air and decide it's not hot enough to go into full operation, then shuts down again for 10 minutes. So, I finally turned it completely off. With a window upstairs open, and a fan downstairs in the bathroom window, enough air cycles through the house to be comfortable.
Complaint: All that trouble & expense to get an A/C again, and the weather mocks me.
Threat: It dxxn well better get hot in July!
Lucky you. We're in the middle of a heat wave here (Paris, France), right now it's almost 40°C (104 F) outside... Fortunately my appartment building has very thick walls so it's bearable inside even if I don't have AC.
CMS was acting up. I could not solve the problem until I made a new CMS folder in a new location. Maybe the old location was too long?
Having issues with Walmart. They "closed" my account due to some error. Then they reopened my account but forgot to put Walmart+ back. But Amazon prime renewal went well.
edit: still having troubles deciding on what to get with my premier coupon before it expires next week.
You're the lucky one. I'm expected to feed Lucy BEFORE she starts to demand food
COMPLAINT: Left an animation rendering overnight. Damned Windows installed an update at 05:14 this morning and re-booted the PC. The result - I lost several hours of rendering work
NON_COMPLAINT: Squirreled around in gpedit and changed some settings so the above doesn't happen again. Middle digit raised at Microshaft in satisfaction and a cold beer cracked open.
Complaint: Little Dude's sleep schedule has shifted to put us back on evening walks... right in time for our beautiful streak of reasonable weather to end. We've got a few tolerable highs left, but then it's into the upper 80s (and humid) with a high Monday of 97 F (and humid). Because of course.
Just saw a YouTube video about Clara the lamb. But her caretakers are wondering if she is 100 percent sheep.
Cute lamb!
