Complaint: My cat has conjunctivitis. Do you know how hard it is to give a cat eye drops? She has to have them every 6 hours. This is not fun.

Make a cat burrito with a towel .......

Doesn't getting the cat wrapped just bring the blood-letting forward?

not in my experience ,but each cat is different  ,oh and treats afterward helped alot

Complaint: I have a perscription with the largest US pharmacy chain.  For 8 years now, I've been ordering the perscription online using Microsoft Edge.  For a week now, I've been unable to access the "my perscriptions" page of the website.  I can access any other page, just not that one.  It is stuck in some sort of loop (says "processing," starts loading page then flips back to "processing").  I tried clearing cookies, cache; accessing the website on different days and times; etc.  Today I called technical support.  After humoring them by repeating the same steps I had already tried to correct the issue, the person tells me, "Just use Chrome."  I'm running WIndows 11 and using Microsoft Edge.  I told the tech I wasn't going to download Chrome to use one page of their website.  Edge is a major web browser.  It should be supported.  She agreed to file a support ticket.  I phoned in my refill instead.

Deepest sypathies. My Maine Coon picked up a case of kitty herpes in his eyes from the animal shelter we adopted him from. We had two prescriptions for his eyes... poor thing must've thought we brought him home just to torture him.

I hope things clear up swiftly for your kitty.

Thanks. Yeah, we have two prescriptions for Shasta, too. She takes one every 6 hours and the other every 12 hours. And when giving the second one, it has to be 5 minutes apart from the first one. So every 12 hours we get to sit there holding a growling kitty for five minutes, while we wait to give her the second dose. She's overdue for her single dose right now, but I'm postponing until my daughter gets home from work, so we outnumber her. lol.

We had a storm here. The electricity is out. So of course I'm looking at the DAZ Forums instead of saving my battery power.

    The Weather Changed in Denver!!!!

We went from Augtober to October overnight. Current temperature is 45F. Our high today is expected at 53F. And rain. And snow in the mountains.

But my flu & covid shots are still hitting me, or I came in contact with someone with one of them and they are fighting back. Energy level is about a zero, ambition the same. Headache at a 50 on a scale of 0 - 20. Been shopping on DAZ then shutting off the computers. I did buy the Stonemason plug-in and can't figure out how to install on my Win 11 laptop. Brain is totally off-line.

Charlie had the messed-up eye stuff for weeks and is getting better. We had some tussles with cleaning them with damp tissues, one for each eye. I come up from behind him and bring my arms around him with my chest holding him down. I also act like a momma cat and don't take no for an answer. Minus the teeth and claws I see Charlie use on Simon when he decides to wash Simon's face. I do have a few new holes in my arms/hands.

Ya Gotta Love Cats... and Dogs.

Non-complaint:  Yesterday was the fourth dentist trip in two weeks.  Bleeding has stopped, pain has stopped, sinus infection has stopped, molar socket & gums show healing tissue.  Dentist is happy.  I am happy.  Yay!  Symphony Buddy picked me up at the dentist's, big breakfast at the hole-in-the-wall beanery in the decrepit mini-mall.  He paid! Yay!  Saved on breakfast and saved cost of an Uber ride to home.yes

Complaint:  Fourth dentist trip in two weeks, and a fifth scheduled in two weeks.frown  Need a trip to grocery but out of money till next week.indecision   I got notice that there's a big bill for hospital tests last month, arriving soon in the mail.crying

Son said the vaccine dragged him out for a couple days, and he's just 30. He told me to make sure I have a couple days off when I get mine.

And we'll be seeing those cold temps this weekend.

The Pfeizer and Moderna covid shots always ran me over like a train for a couple days. I got the Novavax last year and it was only about half as bad for side effects. (Data point: I'm in my 40's.) It's harder to come by, but Costco usually has it, and you don't have to be a member to get immunization services there.

We broke weather records last weekend in Minnesota... Saturday was a tied highest temperature for that day (90), and Sunday was 90 again, breaking the previous record (85) and also setting one for latest 90 degree day. It's also the first recorded time there have been two 90 degree days in October. And then the temps promptly crashed and we're down to highs in the 50's, which is much more normal.

I always react to vaccines, sometimes less than others. This time it is not as bad as the first Covid shot, but it is not fun. My throat feels like someone took a razor blade to it. When I go to pick-up my flatmate I plan to buy some Jello and pudding cups.

We have had so many days at 90/80F I had forgotten what it is like to dress for the cold. But I have my new SCOTTeVEST and can finally wear it. It has a load of pockets for everything I might carry in a purse and warm. So instead of all that weight on one arm, it will be spread around my body.

Also. I am finally able to straighten my ribs back over my hips again. I hope that will reflect in increased height again. PT and weight loss does help.
