a PA that could create the obvious

a strandbased Dforce hair that could be parted and styled how one wishes

    would definitely get my money

however I suspect it wouldn't go down well with DAZ or other PAs as it is in effect what they are locking us users out of by making the Strandbased editor non dynamic

I initially thought it would be another fantasy/war camp, but upon closer inspection, it's a cartoon-style orc camp. I prefer this one; it reminds me of my happy times in Orgrimmar.

Great choice. This is also my favorite among today's offerings.

Yeah, that looked great. As a former WoW player, that made me nostalgic. Have a look at this one.

This, I cannot appreciate enough those rare moments when we get cool fantasy armor sets with flat heeled footwear instead of high heels. Also, for gen8 too.
    Thank you, Chris Cox heart

That takes me back. I haven't played WoW since Shadowlands was released. I bought the expansion but never played it as about that time I found out the Master of the Guild I was in was having an affair with my now ex-wife angry

I looked a while ago, but my Elf Hunter no longer shows up on Khadgar server.

I just can't get past the idea that this is a cosplayer given the main image's big smile.

I like a large number of Colm Jackson's characters, and CJ Silvie is no exception. I know there are feelings like 'Oh no, not another pretty white 20 something fem' - which are valid - but she does look good, well modelled and without noodle joints. However.. with cat vet bills coming up, definitely for the 'If only' pile and not even the wishlist.

    Regards,

    Richard

    Yes.

I only went there when quests asked for it like during some of the holidays.

Absolutely stunning set design. Fugazi1968 & Ironman have never created such a dazzling, modern set. Even though I own many CLUB, I still want this. Why didn't I get three PUNCH today...

It's in my cart. But I am curious why the dance area is so small.

Er... because it's kind of obviously not THAT kind of a dance club. Look at the furnishings... primarily sofas or stand-alone chairs with only a few tiny tables, a small bar, an upstairs loft area with little seating, no tables, and two unmarked doors, a small illuminated dance floor that's basically set up for one dancer at a time...  It's clearly a place where people go to watch the dancers, not dance themselves.

    I think I need a history lesson.

I quite like https://www.daz3d.com/celtic-ruins-diorama as a collection of houses. But.. I'm blowed if I have any recollection of any archaeological site that shows the Celts built houses in stone. If I recall correctly, they were Iron Age and seem to have worked more in wood than stone for all buildings in the pre-Roman era. In the Roman Era, they wre largely indistinguishable from the Romans, working in stone, brick & wood. In the post-Roman Era, the Celts were pushed North & West, but Christianised before the Angles & Saxons, leaving Christian marker crosses and possibly very small churches all round the west & north, but no stone houses.

Am I wrong in this? Have I missed stone house workings by the Celts anywhere? If I'm correct, the naming  of the set is a problem and it's a fantasy set. If I'm wrong, I'd love to learn about the bit of the Celts I've missed entirely.

Nice set, though, fantasy or not.

    Regards,

    Richard

Wow, I think this is the best character I've seen here in a long time! The body is phenomenal, and look at all those options. DAZ, you should be ashamed that this isn't a DAZ Original. Good luck to the creator Mechasar with this fantastic product! ...BTW, I'm broke for the moment, so I have to wait.

Yes, the Gargoyle is really funny, and as far as Zuna is concerned, I had a similar thought as FantastArt: Such a character should be a base figure!

  • richardandtracyrichardandtracy Posts: 8,021

While the character deserves to be a DO, it would almost inevitably have to be bundled, separating the clothing and HD morphs into more items and end up having a higher headline price (important to those who aren't DAZ+ or Premier).

I did feel that Nerdworks' Aleda and Damira should have been DO's too, TBH.

    Regards,

    Richard

Perhaps because they are not, artists have more time to create good products.

I'm going with the assumption that the PA is going by the general usage definition of "Celts" = "nonspecific Irish/Scottish/Welsh," maybe?

However, I'm trying to wrap my head around what it's supposed to be. It says dwelling, and there are some cottages in Ireland that have that sort of wall construction (kind of) but if that's what it's going for, the layout doesn't seem right. And I'm confused by the small building that still has intact shingles (which really isn't right, either the intact or the shingles) but the rest is roofless (assumably the thatch gave way?)... but smooth and... well, not very ruin-y looking. If it's been around long enough for the roof to disintigrate and disappear entirely, those walls should be (at the very least) peeling a whole bunch more, and missing some chunks.

And if it's a dwelling, the floor should be dirt, not pavers.

Also, intact banded iron wood doors and shutters that not only look unrigged, but unusuable?

And where's the hearth? There doesn't seem to be either a fireplace/chimney or any indication of a central fire/cook area.

Or maybe that tiny thing with the inexplicable shingles is the dwelling, and the rest is a... I dunno, courtyard? But that doesn't seem right either...
