Thank you so much for all the detail and beauty you put into this set (and all your sets). Maybe it sounds weird to say a hacked-up roast pig or the core of a pear is beautiful, but... there you go. :)

I'm going to have such fun with this!

I'm already customizing some textures and really enjoying the pack so far. I’ll definitely be here if you decide to make an expansion for this one too smiley

For people on the fence with this product, promos are not showing every preset included like the cutting board with bratwusrst (edited as chorizo).

is  the ring sausage your texture or does it come looking shiney/moist. One of the things I see in a lot of the food products is that the items look dried out, no moisture on the surface.

My 'Dirty Dishes' food and drink packs were met with a lot of nice words, for which I'm grateful. But one complaint I had from some folks was the lack of medieval or fantasy food options in those packs. I did promise to do something for those folks and, well ... it has taken me a while, but I finally submitted a new entry in the Dirty Dishes product line today. Dirty Dishes: Fantasy Food and Drinks. The product also includes wearable presets for handheld items to make it quicker and easier to parent and pose items like knives and forks, handheld food like fruit, pies, pasties, and turkey legs.

I hope that the new entry in the series is a worthy companion to the other sets.

It looks as if you got a bit carried away with this one.  Not only is the quality very high like all of the Dirty Dishes sets, but this one presents a really massive quantity of items too.  All of these sets are among the best CG food items I have ever seen, and I have seen a lot of them since the 1980s when I started playing with 3D.  I also love the fact that they are proper story-telling tools with the meals at various stages from untouched to fully eaten.  I hope sales justify the effort.

Thanks :) I hope so too :) But even if it doesn't, I'll look forward to seeing them in use

I bought them to join the other dirty dishes products in my library. I've found the items in the other sets to be very flexible. For example, I recently removed the fish from a frying pan and added onion rings. It worked well, and I had the messy pan and steam already there for my scene.

I bought the most recent set and while I was adding my additional Food> metadata I remembered the other sets and when I needed a plate of food for a science fiction scene one plate showed up and a napkin was tossed down (not sure where it came from). A series of napkins cloth or paper in various stage of neat to used to crunched/wadded up, or used to mop up a wine spill would be a nice add. Along with a future food set, eating in a potential zero-g environment, or food that crawls off the plate.

I do love these because they recognize that most humans EAT FOOD and don't just DRINK BOOZE. I think the rich have serious drinking problems.

Awesome so very cool. I can't wait until they are released. It will be something else the Yeti can make a mess with.

You could still add it, in the first post, so that anyone new coming to this thread can see it right away. I don't know about others, but in the past, I'd discover a product on the forum, and I always appreciated when it was linked in the first post.

Also, it would be a great advertisement to cross-link to the other products in the series as well.

They're not on Daz anymore. The store was supposed to close on September 1, but Daz jumped the gun.

That's a deal-breaker for me as well. I'm kicking myself for assuming I could get some of these products during the up-coming sales here on DAZ.

You only appreciate things when you lose them; now those things are too expensive and unattainable.
