Not sure who's going to really use today's repeat sale. I'm sure anyone who was willing to load up a cart with $2.50 goodness already overspent yesterday. And I doubt there were a lot paychecks cut between yesterday and today.

I will. Since Daz is having it all weekend, I decided to hold off to see if there were any New Releases I liked today, since I wasn't into Friday's, and I found one. I may even hold off til tomorrow.

    ...yay.

The banners should now be working for the freebie offer. They should show up in DIM, on-site (I confirmed both), and Daz Studio.

I waited til today and I at least like the Burger Meal, so will probably get some bundles. Glad to know the D+ coupon works with this, I wondered about that.

Burger meal is way too plastic-y for me. And keep in mind that D+ will NOT discount the $2.5 items. It works exactly like using OS/QG items to get to the $18 threshold. So you need at least $12 worth of those items and then something from featured artists (or somewhere else) to get to $6 to make it $18 total for the coupon to work (assuming you're D+ and not Premier).

Since this was brought up in the reporting thread, I'm trying to give both threads the info as I get it. Here is a copy I posted to teh reporting thread.

"Yes, you can use it on bundles, but all of the qualifying products have to be selected from the link provided in the message. I just tried some various individuals and bundles on that linked page, and they worked for all that I tested. Please try that and see if it works. If not, then take a screenshot of your cart so we can troubleshoot the problems quickly."

Thanks for clarifying for me. I think I misunderstood your original post.

The fries look too fake but the rest seem okay to me. Plus this was the only buy-in that I might use. I may hold off until tomorrow except for the free & $1 coupons they just activated.

  • This orange banner appear in my serial number screen. This could be the mystery free the locals talk about.

Whenever you have an on-site orange banner, it will show in your messages in your profile. The banner will show on every page of the store.

    I need an intervention

transfered money from my emergency fund and bought more $2.50 goodies surprise

had 2 tokens from my last grab at least to use on the new thing

I've so devastated my budget, I no longer have one or even the idea of one.

    Budget, isn't that something mythological?

  • XelloszXellosz Posts: 855

Hmm... could the tokens be used on $2.50 items?

(Save Big On The Best 250 Get up to 25 of the 250 best-sellers for $2.50 each with any "Semiquincentennial" New Release)

  • jmucchiellojmucchiello Posts: 1,754

No, the $2.50 items weren't affected by tokens. But the new release required would be.

  • davesodaveso Posts: 8,140

The tokens only discount a pittance on one of the new items, unless you buy an expensive one. I put 8 tokens onto an $11.xx new and it took off $3. I will save my tokens in case I buy something larger in cost, although this 2.50 deal is killing me. I bought the first day, passed yesterday, bu the same in cart today. It seems great at $50 for 20 but then when you add in that new release, it jums it up..and just seems expensive for some reason. $60 is a big big purchase for me.

I guess for some people... I actually have one. crying  At least, I try to have one. laugh It saddens me. I'm very disciplined about my spending. So, I'm somewhat protected from going too crazy with this stuff. I fill a cart, dump a bunch of stuff out, and usually just buy a few things I want and can use. That ensures I always have something for next time. And since it's usually OS/QG stuff, the charge is small, too.

I keep filling up, emptying, filling up, emptying, until the store updates, at which point I'll either cheer or regret it.

I can relate. I usually build a bigger cart with any stuff I might want, and then start trimming it down by removing items until I get down to some reasonable total price and items I really-really want. And I definitely love OS/QG shopping. This feature alone makes the membership worth it to me. Sure, I don't always get lucky on QG, and I'm picky (don't always buy all the items from my wishlist), but my QG/OS shopping at members' price pretty much covers the value of my monthly membership.

Been filling/emptying with the $2.50 deal off & on this weekend. Maybe I will just forget about that and the $1 item coupon. I have WL stuff in both selections, but not feeling more than lukewarm aboutr them or the 1 buy-in I might use. Maybe I should just use up my 2 monthly coupons.

I'm hoping the sale continues tomorrow, and that the WL deal gets updated with today's date.

As it's still early in the month, not sure I'd bet on that. But you might get your wish. QG will turn over this evening though, so if there's anything you want there, now is a good time to get it

If they do I hope there is a good gift card sale. I've been using up the credit I planned for June way too fast.

That might be a good idea. I used my Daz+ coupon. I'd use my PA coupon but the rest of my cart is OS/QG items. I only have a couple weeks of D+ left. I'd have liked to get the annual subscription and big coupons at ds6 release but we had some very bad things going on just then. So I had to let it go. Now things are a bit better but I missed the fun.

well, just jumped and that did it for me. Strangely enough, I added 4 WL items to my cart. The total was $67 prior, and after applying 8 tokens and my $10 PA coupon, the total was $63. Yhose 4 WL items camein at $0.00 Free. I think that was good enough. Now my coupons and all for July are gone, my Premier membership ends tomorrow, so that worked out rather well. I earned tokens today though, 12 of them.

    Thx. for the info. It's a tempting offer $2.5 + buy-in so about $3-$4/ item at the end. ($15-20+ $2.5*25 + extras = about $100 )

I think the USD will be weaker at the end of the year. + During Christmas, I might be able to buy something with the tokens I get for a big buy like this. So I need to resist this offer. crying

I spent $8.08 today and I am happy. I think, spending an extra $91.92 would not make me any happier today. YMMV and all that.

Seeing as it's a July 4th themed weekend sale, I don't expect it to continue. And if there's a surprise extension, it's likely going to be the same terms, with WL date not updated (since it hasn't been updated since the beginning of the sale).

Not at all - I have a very strict monthly budget. Sadly that month is currently late August.

(Those 2.50 deals have really stacked up for me)
